Here's the thing: If you watch and read the interviews with the show runners and actors they actually were trying to make a progressive ("woke") show. It's just that the writing and direction was so bad that they didn't achieve that goal on screen. I was actually hoping the show would be good; in part because I hate the monetized hate UA-cam channels that auto play after the video I clicked on ends. They were saying all the same things about Andor before that show aired too. Unfortunately the Acolyte being bad gives fule to their fire. I'm worried that this will have a Catwoman effect in Hollywood. Insted of getting better writers and not rushing projects, they just not green light anything that they're afraid will be called woke.
