!!!FIRST!!! What?!! How is KAL on Krypton in the future, it was destroyed by Brainiac when KAL was an infant in the main DC universe?!!! WTF is gling on? If future KAL is not in an alternate universe then only way this happens is the Kryptonians used their tech to terraform a new Krypton in the main DC universe in the future. Who knows where this is going... 🤷‍♂️

I'm certainly hopeful for this to be the movie and Universe that DC deserves. I cannot think of a movie that Gunn has produced that failed to please the audience. However, I will say I don't see his previous work or Blue Beetle being false starts. Suicide Squad was while he was fired from from Marvel, and probably truly was a test of faith in Gunn's ability to run an entire studio. Peacemaker followed and sealed the deal(in my opinion)

while it wasnt perfect.... Man after seeing the zack synder version of JL 2021, I wanted so bad the part 2. I think warner bros made a huge mistake not continuing Zack's vision. Evil superman? Man that would've been crazy, just the flashback we got in BVS I wanted a whole movie about this timeline... Its sad now we'll get the generic marvel theme, (comedic, unserious tone) that's what imo was great about DC since it was more mature. But yea I do agree most movies were flops unfortunately, but JL 2021 was amazing and I do believe part 2 would've been great.

Let me add these things as well . Relying on the trinity. The trinity is great and all. But their other characters in the DC line up that they could have introduced . Green Arrow, Captain Atom, Firestorm, and countless others. This one is going to sound controversial. The lack of black heroes. The Dakotaverse, Icon, Rocket , Haywire, Black Lightning.. DC has a serious problem with the representation of people of color. Out all of those movies only Cyborg and Deadshot is all DC can muster up. That's inexcusable! I will keep saying this until somebody will listen. What is the point of having these great characters in the DC catalog if they don't never use them.

I think Sam could be a building of his own character not to be like Captain America but to be its own Captain America!

Ngl i think studio interference and the lack of connection to the characters were the big issues. Honestly whilst i am open to different interpretations of characters that doesnt mean i have ti like them. Superman was boring, Batman was a murderer then turned joke, and dont get me started on the Flash...

Eli was not blind during most of the movie. He was blind before the war, and then God granted him sight to carry out his mission. Rewatch the movie you'll see he still has blind person tendencies but he could see brother. It's only when Eli finally gets the Bible to a safe place that then the camera zooms in on his eyes going blind again.

I don't care how much money it made. Ben Affleck was the BEST batman and Henry Cavill was the best Superman ever.

For me it’s just studio interference like changing someone’s work just to have it be like someone else’s work then if that directors family member died and they don’t give them time to mourn they bring in another person to mess with your work and tbh titans should’ve been part of dceu despite it being different it was a big mistake not having Ben’s Batman and Brenton thawites nightwing team up and have a justice league and titans crossover movie or something and you have these other shows outside the arrowverse that could’ve been canon also like swamp thing and krypton but anyway yeah studio interference and wasting actors time in movies also like a one and done thing like birds of prey they waste jurnee smollett and Mary Elizabeth winstead’s time with that and have it be more of a Harley Quinn movie but yeah even tho Snyder tried to do something different at least his focus were on the justice league members while those original wb executives were just randomly greenliting stuff that lead to nothing and canceled lots of stuff
