Wisconsin was down and out? UCLA and USC had losing records. The secondary does not have dudes like what we see on the DL. Give Holgerson whatever he wants. Fire the WR and RB coach if he wants.
Dana Holgerson won that game and saved Dylan Raiola's career at Nebraska. Holgerson is from the legendary Mike Leach's air raid coaching tree. Finally timing is on our side... we found a elite coach at the right time in his career and our program. Wake up husker fans. Edit: Holgerson changed the locker room, Rhule was loosing it. Raoila was staying regardless, and Rhule never lost the locker room that’s just ridiculous to say😂😂however, Holgorson revived the positive momentum that we lost over the last 4 games. We already have major donors coming through this offseason but this takes it to another level potentially. Need to get some DBs though, the one major weakness on our team

I’m optimistic that Dana can get Riola the offensive players he desperately needs to play his game. Like that nice little shovel pass thing he did early on that ended up being a turnover. Had he had the right guys, that was more than likely a first down or better.
Obviously, I am elated for the win and when you win if cures a lot of problems. I do have two complaints. The first is we never threw the ball deep. When you have two 6’4” receivers against college corners, this is an easy call. The second is I think we need to have four defensive lineman on first down and and bring in a pass rusher as needed.
Hear me out. When Dana called out position coaches who were player favoritism I think it's fair to say he was talking about Satterfield and the player is fidone because we didn't see him play.
I do not think Satterfield held the players accountable. I think he kept the same players that he thought were entitled to play and was OK with that. The players play the game, and it was obvious that the players played the way the coaches expected them to play. There is a reason why Satterfield is a 100th rbk on average OC. He is just not good as an OC. He maybe is a positions level coach.
Dana as the OC for Rhule is analagous to Chip Kelly as the OC for Ryan Day. Rhule, the lovable teddy bear, should take a pay cut and slide a few of HIS millions across the table in supprt of Dana's new contract.
Just take a look at his track record. He has has successful offenses everywhere he goes. He's coached some great QB's and WR's. He's not a pure Air rade guy he knows how and when to run the ball. He's able to adjust to what he has on the field.
@ze1662 well it depends how you lose obviously. If you see the offense go back to their old ways then there may be some questions. But honestly with his record he definitely should get a chance to install his offense next season. Again look at his track.
@ze1662 But Rhule does care about defense. He's not going to have a say whos in charge of Defense. If he was up for the HC job I'd see your point on him not giving a rats ass about defense.
