I've fished that same lake twice on the reservation, with a guide. One time we slammed them and the other time about the same results you had. I feel the rates they charged were very reasonable. Definitely worth a day trip if you on Red Lake fishing anyway.

I've driven past that old church at 0:16, that's some beautiful country. What's also weird is seeing the house I used to live in at 18:30. Living next to Taco Bell sucked, it was always so busy! Thanks for the vid.

I went out 2 days ago I have no fish finder what so ever the first spot I drilled was onto a massive school of Cisco with some giant pike feeding was a great trip. Going back tomorrow

Fish 1’ under the ice. Fish like your fishing for crappies. I like red or a donkey pink spike. Minnow color jig head or glow in the dark white pimple. Good luck. Just an opinion to try.

Trout fishing thru ice is the opposite of walleye. Trout bite on the drop and walleye bite on the up. So hard to transition between the two. Better luck next time! It is not always butterflies and rainbows...
