  • Number three in this series
Filmed at the Llandudno Transport Festival, 2018 in Llandudno, North Wales.
This Petter Little Pet engine was built in France or Belgium in 1923 by Petters Ltd.
It is an M Type engine running on oil with a power output of 1.5hp.
These engines were often known as Rugby top or Acorn top because of the shape of the cooling tank.
I don't have any more information than this but if any viewer familiar with this engine want's to add some more detail, please feel free to get in touch
Relax to the rhythmic sounds of this piece of engineering history.

Not even into engines but i'd like to go to the next one as these things are so charming. Is it free entry?

StuffOffYouStuff there is an entry fee but if memory serves, it’s not very much. This is just the tip of the iceberg, there are trucks, tractors, motorcycles, steam engines (big) all sorts.
      Just google Llandudno Transport Festival

What makes you think they were built in France or Belgium?

I'm afraid they were mistaken. The only link "little pet" has to Europe is the fact that in French it translates too "little fart" hence why the name was soon dropped and not seen on later engines
