Running smaller inline sinkers will keep you above the weeds. I run up to 1/4 oz to stay above them. They also help stop floating weeds from sliding down your line to your harness
Not this day but I do fish in Canada often. In July I usually just fish weedbeds out by the shipping channel but most other times of the year I am fishing the Canadian side
@@briancloutier2781 I haven’t been out in a while because I have been Salmon Fishing but it seems like the bite can get pretty tough this time of year and through September
Hammer time thanks for info
No problem!
You must go out on weekdays. The lake is never this flat when I go out on the weekends. Enjoyed the video thanks for the upload.
Yeah, weekdays or I am off the water by 11 AM on weekends. I would rather not get back to the dock with a broken back.
Looked like a great day out there, good job man
Thank you! Always a great day on the water
How do you avoid the weeds

Out by the ditch? The weeds are really up out there right now.
Yeah, a couple of the weed beds that I was fishing last month are unfishable right now. The east side of the ditch in American waters isn’t bad.
@@thereeljbake got 4 by 28 on planers 1 by 27 bottom bouncer. They seem skittish with lines close to boat.
