    The elephant in the room ignored and not mentioned, is world population. Today the world population is reported to be Eight (8) billion people. Not so long ago it was Five (5) billion people.
    Unsustainable increasing demand for food that will inevitably lead to increased starvation in many parts of the world.

    Vegans.
    The best way to secure food production is to keep costs low for the people who produce food, and you do that mainly by keeping energy and fuel costs down. All the "problems" we face today are created by ourselves by listening to fanatics and lunatics who then go on to set the agenda.
