Thank you so much for making this video. I bought pattern 3 years ago and got to a certain spot and was so confused. I have ripped every thing out down to panel H and I. And following along. Really want to wipe out this UFO! Thx so much!
Love the fingernail polish… but more than that your sewing is absolutely amazing. I watch your hands and fingers maneuver and manipulate the materials and it is perfect.Thank you for sharing your talent.
Siah, if it wasn't for you making this tutorial using the fabric you used, I would have never bought this pattern based off the pics in the website. You are the Queen of fabric selections!!
You do such a wonderful job! I have been watching your videos for awhile and always love the bags. I normally watch on the tv in my sewing room so I don’t get to comment. Thank you for being a great enabler.
Charlotte got a job as a bag model...Yay!! As someone always says "I love it!" 😄 Great entertainment 👌 Great job Charlotte 👏 Thank u for another great tutorial. That tote bag is certainly different, even the small handles the way is connected to the bag 👍 I'll wait till u make the small one to see which one I would like to make. Thank u so much again 💓
Aww.. I love it when our kiddos model. Charlotte did a great job! Now I know why I didn’t guess which pattern it was because I didn’t have it. That will change now! Thank you!!!
I am a little confused on the cutting chart for the Mini version of this tote bag. It says to cut top, middle and bottom panels for it but on the pic I only see top and bottom. So I am not sure how to cut this. Also the measurements for both Mini and Large tote are the same. So please help
I'm very confused with the pattern as well. There are a couple of pieces that have no printing on them so what are they and where do they go. I have both the regular and mini versions.
Thanks so much for doing this tutorial and hope to see the mini one soon as well. I love that Bodeeoh vinyl, wish the shipping to Canada wasn’t so much and what a beautiful combination with that fabric. So I also have had this pattern and trailblazer for quite some time, wanting to make for myself for when we can travel again. Which would you say would be a better travel bag?
As always great tutorial, love how the bag turned out. Great choice of fabrics. Love love the vinyl color. How do u interface on the vinyl without ruining the other side.
Question about the outer zipper pocket lining J peices.. at what point do they get sewn shut. I wish I could show you a picture. In step 31 it says to push them out if way. In step 32 it says to catch them in seam allowance when sewing the sides. Being that the one side is longer the only thing that makes sense is to sew the bottom edges and then lay so that bottom seam matches the zipper tabs. Do yu have a Facebook page or group?
If I’m sewing on my domestic machine using the same materials as you, what size needle and thread weight do you recommend? You make it look so easy, and your bags always come out so perfect! 🤩
Hello! I use a size 16-18 needle and 70 Tex bonded poly. I think you have to go a little lighter on those two things if using a domestic, but this bag is totally doable on one as well. I would keep any fleece and heavier interfacing out of your seam allowance and you should be good to go!
First off, your hair color looks fantastic. This purse is gorgeous.

Thank you for another video.I like this bag, but it’s a little big, I would like to see you make the smaller bag all so.

I use a Teflon sheet to protect the vinyl.

Lovely. What kind of machine do you use
I sew on a Kingmax GC 0302
Hi, can I use your thread you sell on my Janome HD9?
What is the color of the vinyl? I absolutely love it.
I just don’t remember, and I can’t find it on the website either so it must be out of stock. I need to start labeling everything!

When you say you put a woven on the vinyl, are you talking about an sf101?
Yes
When using waterproof canvas how do you keep it from stretching when you sew ?
It doesn’t stretch…. So I have not had that issue
Muito linda! Qual material est usando? Gostaria muito de adquirir os materiais que você usa nas bolsas, como faço para adquirir! Obrigada!
Thank you! The websites I use are linked in the description under this video! ☺️
how do i get the pattern for this bag
The link to purchase is in the description of the video 😊
I have a juki g series i think i have to rid of it. Until im able to afford an industrial one I'll never be able to fulfill my sewing dreams.
Where is the pattern for the bottom piece?
Lol Charlotte,,!
Would it be the same steps for the small version?
The handles are done differently but other than that yes! You could chose to do the handles this way as well
