LS. Busy street. MS. Man in American Indian traditional costume and head-dress coming out of doorway - an Englishman who grew up in Indian tribe - Sidney Hatton aka Tatanka Wanken. Camera follows him as he walks along pavement. Camera following Indian as he crosses busy street. MS. Indian walking along sidewalk. MS. Two small boys watching. MS. Indian walking along sidewalk. Dissolve to Indian sitting down on cloth that is spread over lawn. He takes off head dress. MS. Indian picking up strips of leather which he is about to make moccasins with. MS. Indian. CU. Beautifully designed Moccasin on carpet Indian is sitting on. CU. Another beautifully designed Navaho blanket with fringe at end. CU. Nicely designed gauntlets. MS. Indian's head dress. CU. Indian's axe which is decorated with feathers. CU. Indian's sheaf knife. He pulls knife from sheaf. MS. Indian cutting twine he has been sewing moccasin with - moccasin is now finished. LS Indian. He puts knife back from right of picture. Two small boys go up to him. He gives them the "how" sign. CU. Indian. LS. Indian picks up piece of wood. Puts it into another piece and with another piece of wood starts rubbing it together. MS. Indian rubbing the wood vigorously. CU. Wood being rubbed. It is beginning to smoulder. CU. Two small boys watching. LS. Indian finishes rubbing wood together. Puts them down and then picks up a piece of material which he is blowing. He then lights his pipe. LS. Indian puffing away at his pipe, & CU.

Columbus actually wanted to go to India. He ended up in the Carribean instead and thought that he had reached india. So he called them red indians because because had red skin
