    That was great. I had to slow it down half speed but I managed it. I haven't had any formal training either. One thing that would be awesome is if you put up where you put your fingers on the fret board. I've seen other youtubers do this.

    Thank you so much for the video. Umm.. I did have one question though. What type of roll were you using?

    So after feeling like I can play this slowly, I thought I would go back and listened to the demo at the beginning. Woah. I can only hear the same tune that I'm playing at 0.25 speed. He plays it so fast that it almosts melts into a whole different tune!!! I think I should probably take a step back and find a basic Irish fiddle song to learn. Any suggestions?

    nicely played, i got this tune to play a few days ago from my tutor, love it! I'm not sure, is your bowhold a specific style, because I was taught not to hold the bow like that. Just curious. :)

    Your bow looks awfully loose. Does this make it easier to play two strings together or is it just the way you normally play?

    my finger is too small to do the double stop at the beginning! D:

    • @cathyshepard253
      @cathyshepard253 7 років тому

      fighterbunny Try flattening your finger across both strings, even if you're on the "E" string, I don't think you'll be striking it with the bow.
      Just a thought.

    • @maddies757
      @maddies757 6 років тому

      Mine too you dont have to , if I get the tip of my finger in the middle of both it still gets the right sound sort of lol

    The song is "composed of 3 parts," not "comprised of…" A whole comprises its parts or is composed of them. It's can never be "comprised of" them.

    • @joefagan9335
      @joefagan9335 2 роки тому +2

      It's not a song, it's a tune. What do you mean by "It's can..."? For a person who makes two blunders in as many sentences, you're taking liberties correcting others.🙃

    • @be8nice
      @be8nice 2 роки тому

      "Comprised of" to mean "composed of" has been standard usage in the US for at least a hundred years. And, yeah, it's a tune, not a song.
