Maybe dual citizenship, on a case by case basis, to show appreciation to the NRI, who is both a source of strength and pride? Especially the Hindus among us who have no hope other than India? We are quickly becoming the target for grievances against India. The onslaught of minor aggressions and misgivings about our hard work and successes are mounting. We are a minority religion on the world. Just 100 million worldwide, outside India. We are seemingly well to do, but nobody has our back. Easy targets- because we have worked hard to have something to lose.

India should also assist Indians who go abroad to settle be given a fair go like the Europeans whereby Indians are given the opportunity to get a full pension should they want to return to India once they reach their pension age. Why would people of Italian origin or French origin be entitled to full pension from the country they emigrated to but not Indians. Indian HC should look into this.
