    OK man, the tutorial is great. Like genuinely amazing. It is super informative and straight to the point - it is really, really well made. But that intro riff is on a completely different level. Please, PLEASE make it a full track so that I can finally stop replaying the first 30 seconds for hours on end hahahaha

    When i combine different amps and cabs, i get phase problems. Maybe neural dsp has programmed their software with this in mind? Are you using the same cab for crunch and hi gain in the video?

    • @bitkaster
      @bitkaster  3 роки тому +5

      The problem is not your amp, but the guitar plugins themselves, that's a common problem with guitar plugins because they have the same sample set. I'm suggesting adding track delay if you get a phase issue
      If you using more than 1 guitar track like me, you can try a transpose trick on the other guitars tracks. it is a simple trick, all you need to do is turn down the Kontakt tune knob a few semitones then turn up the Hydra transpose knob in the opposite way, for example: set the Kontakt tune to -5 semitones then tune the Hydra transpose knob to 5, then do the same thing to the other guitar tracks with different value, like, guitar 1 (normal settings) guitar 2 (Track delay -10 ms, Kontakt Tune -5, Hydra Transpose 5) guitar 3 (Track delay 10 ms, Kontakt Tune -2, Hydra Transpose 2), etc. These tricks come from Shreddage, you can found these tricks on the Hydra manual, except for the track delay, I'm adding the track delay to add slightly different timings when they play
      I made a video about this ua-cam.com/video/1eMmL_C3vs8/v-deo.html
      and of course, don't forget the panning
      Hope this helps, cheers man !!!

      And for the cab, I'm using different cab for all the 3 guitars, guitar 1-2 neural dsp with different preset and guitar 3 is Modern Metal 1 Hydra preset set to quad guitar

      @@bitkaster wow, thanks for the tricks. I thought they had round robin samples and each guitar of the total four had its own sample pool.

    • @bitkaster
      @bitkaster  3 роки тому

      Yes hydra has a round-robin, but not enough to eliminate the double tracks phase issue

      Can I ask you to describe what this problem sounds like? How would I know if I am experiencing the same problem? Sorry, not a guitar player.

    • @bitkaster
      @bitkaster  3 роки тому +2

      Hi man, I'm using EZBass EBX Metal for bass and Superior Drummer 3 for drums, both are using pre-made presets. Drums is Andy Snap - Metal 1 preset, but for bass, I don't remember, I just randomly pick the preset for the bass track

      @@bitkaster Sounds freakin awesome!!! Well done! Let me ask you...the pick attack feature is only for Hydra?

    • @bitkaster
      @bitkaster  3 роки тому +1

      Some people say with the new updates the other Shreddage guitars have the same features as the hydra, but I'm not sure, I don't own any Shreddage guitars besides Hydra. I try Shreddage Rouge on my friend's laptops and make a few videos before I decide to buy Hydra and that model has no pick attack. Check your Pulse app maybe there's an update for other Shreddage guitars
