Mam I have a doubt, you said that CRF should be prepared before patients are recruited, but as source documents are from lab reports how can we get lab reports of patients before starting of recruitment of patients for clinical trial?
Usually at the startup phase we ask for the sites to handle us the lab ranges and units that they use. Than we can have most of this data, and plan those queries. In some cases, we do need to adequate some limits, and to do so, occasionally we need to do a MSU (midStudy update), but it depends on which EDC tools you are using.

Hi mam, previously i worked as a clinical data associate due to some reasons i quit the job however i have 4 years experience in phase one studies (in-house studies) i want to restart my carrier same in CDM ....if i went for another MNC the work is totally different ....then how can i mannage their....in previous organisation we only do data entry , data review ....can get the answer
Hi mam, I had a doubt on batch validation checks i.e.,, are those checks are exception listing checks which are programmed on basis on DM review objectives or anything else, please clarify
Batch validation is nothing but execution of edit checks only, across all the data of all th subjects regardless of visit but it is offline execution; In most EDCs, the execution of edit checks online and at time of data entry.
