Seeing Pharaoh reminds me of my grandson that I took care of for my daughter as she was a long-haul truck driver. It was fun to be able to pay close attention to see how he visually analyzed his toy truck/car wheels worked. He was so eager to learn his alphabet by the time he was 2 years old.

I agree with you 100% as I was screwed by AAA on my roof. There inspector whispered to the agent something and left real quick. They only gave me money to paint the ceiling of the up stairs. My neighbors roofer came went up there took pictures and there was a hole in the roof. So what I got for painting the ceiling I had to have the roof repaired but the roof still need replaced. It has gone through many hurricanes as well as hail storms. They are so dishonest and why I agree with you. Good luck to you. The bad part about me is I live on social security so there is only so much I can do. I live in Texas and there not keeping up with what the insurance companies are doing to the taxpayers. I totally agree with you. I’ve paid house insurance for over 20 years and had a branch blow off a tree and damage my shingles which created a small leak in my mud room. The insurance adjuster said it was normal wear and tear of my shingles. Big lie. No payment.

We are just getting our tile roof replaced after hurricane Ian from two years ago! We were denied as they said we did not have enough damage and was less than 8000. The tile roof alone is 60,000 to replace as well as a lot of other damage. After a year my husband decided we needed a lawyer. They found out the insurance company did not have pictures of our house but another!! We ended up having to pay the lawyers 50,000 but I’m grateful we got them because we are getting 80,000 towards our repairs but how crazy is this. If you have a mortgage you have to have insurance from what I understand.
Be careful on your claims. We had a claim for our roof from a bad storm and guess what when our insurance was due to renew they tried not to renew it because of the claim. We had been with them for 34 years paying every month. Big business are just out to make money now days.
My mom had a bad car wreck in 1964, not her fault. Tire came off car meeting her and hit her. My father had a bad car wreck the following year (1965). She'd had state farm ins for nearly 40 years. After my father's wreck, state farm canceled them. They'd never had a claim in all those years. I hate ins companies!
I had a similar experience when my trailer was hit by Hurricane Isabel, then a tornado came about 3 weeks later. I got a fraction of what I needed. I had hurricane straps on my trailer, and shed. My shed was destroyed by the tornado 3 weeks later - I could not replace it due to the cost.
We were at ground zero for Ian and we had friends that totally lost their homes due to insurance… not so much the storm. They had some damage and couldn’t get it repaired because of the insurance. With all the rain in Florida… the damage from not being able to repair finished off their homes. 😞

Every time you have a hurricane your insurance goes up even if you don't have a claim. So you are being punished even though you didn't have a claim. If i had all the money i put in my house i could build another beautiful home. I mean insurance money that i have paid over the years. It's a win-win for insurance companies. A lose lose for the consumer. You find out it's a catch-22. 😢 Sorry you have to deal with this. But we all love the brown family. ❤❤
If you feel the insurance company is jerking you around, file a complaint with your state's insurance commissioner's office. They must investigate each claim. So sorry your family is having to deal with this on top of the damage.
I stoped paying earth quake insurance because my deductible was $90,000. That is crazy. I live on the west coast of canada and if you have a mortgage you must have insurance.
My dad's barn roof went down in straight line wind and we had trouble with insurance. My dad was told the barn was insurance but when they arranged it so it didnt cover it. But as far as farm tou need to make sure the tin on top of that barn is insured. I tell you something else. My brother house burnt down in Mothers day 2024.. insurance agency us never detail with their policy.. they ended up eating alot of cost of their stuff . I had a best friend that had a house hurricane laura went thru and she just got it all straight. Her house was thru fema..
You're right. My car was sideswiped in a parking lot and right away it was a hassle. We paid out of pocket expense of 200 dollar deductible even when my car was hit by somebody else. It's so wrong. Through State Farm our insurance went up to 500 dollars every six mouths even when we drive our car only to go food shopping seven miles one way. I am accident free and we had State Farm for over forty years. They told me it's because of the cost of parts. It didn't matter to them that our Subaru dealer got my parts for my car from their wrecked cars located on the dealership property. I have many more stories but this tells everything.
Growing up on the Texas Gulf Coast and going through hurricanes i have always seen this after every storm. FEMA was never there! Homeowners insurance paid out a minimum amount. Some insurance companies stopped writing insurance in Texas. I agree it's a scam!
Insurance is one of those things that damn if you do or damn if you do not. You are correct with homeowners, they want there money and you have to go through the act of God to get them to pay you for a claim. They have their buddies as adjustor, so it is a game they play.
I have said for years now that we are all insurance poor. Being forced to pay for car insurance, health, home, dental, eye, and even life insurance is draining our bank accounts. Add the burdens of today's prices on everything and it's no wonder people are struggling.
Back in 1980, my son was born premature by 2 months. The hospital did speak with our insurance company confirming that we had insurance that would pay for my baby and me. When it came time for the insurance company to pay, they were refusing to pay. We were told that the insurance did not pay for “Well baby care”. I told them that my baby was NOT well. He was born with a hole in his heart. He was in NICU for 4 weeks. The insurance company sent a representative to our home to try to convince us to believe the lie about “Well Baby Care”. We did end up suing the Insurance Company. The end result was the hospital, doctors and insurance all had to agree to the payoff which ended up being $0.50 on the dollar of the remaining bill after what we had paid. We did get some money after the medical bills were paid.
I'm so sorry that the insurance companies are like that. I will be prayin that there is some kinda break through that will help you and all that were affected by all the hurricanes. I have apartment insurance because I HAVE to have it. It's not like the old days where you could if you want to. Anyway, it's ridiculous! I was going on a tangent myself and then deleted it all. And also so Insurance doesn’t tell you that they don’t pay for or cover pipes in your concrete floors, we found out the hard way. It’s very true! Call your insurance company and ask them. They will tell you if you want your pipes covered in your foundation, you have to ask for it “What”. They never told us that & we never knew it. 8 years ago my house was robbed, when I contacted the ins co they paid me only for a separate policy I carried on jewelry. I had only insured 8 pieces that I wore. Anyway they paid that policy, but house ins since I didn’t save receipts wouldn’t cover anything. When I replaced a few items I couldn’t get jewelry insurance because I made a claim. So I went to a dif company and they said no because I filed a claim. I could wait 5 years and come back and be reevaluated and see if I was eligible. Welp forget having any jewelry more than sterling silver.
Same happen to my 20 year old grandson..hail broke all windows in his car,,he had to pay upfront then produce reciepts to get refunded wheres a kid get 1,500 for that,

We are just getting our tile roof replaced after hurricane Ian from two years ago! We were denied as they said we did not have enough damage and was less than 8000. The tile roof alone is 60,000 to replace as well as a lot of other damage. After a year my husband decided we needed a lawyer. They found out the insurance company did not have pictures of our house but another!! We ended up having to pay the lawyers 50,000 but I’m grateful we got them because we are getting 80,000 towards our repairs but how crazy is this. If you have a mortgage you have to have insurance from what I understand.
Be careful on your claims. We had a claim for our roof from a bad storm and guess what when our insurance was due to renew they tried not to renew it because of the claim. We had been with them for 34 years paying every month. Big business are just out to make money now days.

My mom had a bad car wreck in 1964, not her fault. Tire came off car meeting her and hit her. My father had a bad car wreck the following year (1965). She'd had state farm ins for nearly 40 years. After my father's wreck, state farm canceled them. They'd never had a claim in all those years. I hate ins companies!
I had a similar experience when my trailer was hit by Hurricane Isabel, then a tornado came about 3 weeks later. I got a fraction of what I needed. I had hurricane straps on my trailer, and shed. My shed was destroyed by the tornado 3 weeks later - I could not replace it due to the cost.

We were at ground zero for Ian and we had friends that totally lost their homes due to insurance… not so much the storm. They had some damage and couldn’t get it repaired because of the insurance. With all the rain in Florida… the damage from not being able to repair finished off their homes. 😞

Living in southwest florida all of my adult life. I will be 80 in a few months. Every time you make a claim your insurance goes up. Every time you have a hurricane your insurance goes up even if you don't have a claim. So you are being punished even though you didn't have a claim. If i had all the money i put in my house i could build another beautiful home. I mean insurance money that i have paid over the years. It's a win-win for insurance companies. A lose lose for the consumer. You find out it's a catch-22. 😢 Sorry you have to deal with this. But we all love the brown family. ❤❤
If you feel the insurance company is jerking you around, file a complaint with your state's insurance commissioner's office. They must investigate each claim. So sorry your family is having to deal with this on top of the damage.
I stoped paying earth quake insurance because my deductible was $90,000. That is crazy. I live on the west coast of canada and if you have a mortgage you must have insurance.
My dad's barn roof went down in straight line wind and we had trouble with insurance. My dad was told the barn was insurance but when they arranged it so it didnt cover it. But as far as farm tou need to make sure the tin on top of that barn is insured.
I tell you something else. My brother house burnt down in Mothers day 2024.. insurance agency us never detail with their policy.. they ended up eating alot of cost of their stuff

You're right. My car was sideswiped in a parking lot and right away it was a hassle. We paid out of pocket expense of 200 dollar deductible even when my car was hit by somebody else. It's so wrong. Through State Farm our insurance went up to 500 dollars every six mouths even when we drive our car only to go food shopping seven miles one way. I am accident free and we had State Farm for over forty years. They told me it's because of the cost of parts. It didn't matter to them that our Subaru dealer got my parts for my car from their wrecked cars located on the dealership property. I have many more stories but this tells everything.

Growing up on the Texas Gulf Coast and going through hurricanes i have always seen this after every storm. FEMA was never there! Homeowners insurance paid out a minimum amount. Some insurance companies stopped writing insurance in Texas. I agree it's a scam!
Insurance is one of those things that damn if you do or damn if you do not. You are correct with homeowners, they want there money and you have to go through the act of God to get them to pay you for a claim. They have their buddies as adjustor, so it is a game they play.
I have said for years now that we are all insurance poor. Being forced to pay for car insurance, health, home, dental, eye, and even life insurance is draining our bank accounts. Add the burdens of today's prices on everything and it's no wonder people are struggling.
Back in 1980, my son was born premature by 2 months. The hospital did speak with our insurance company confirming that we had insurance that would pay for my baby and me. When it came time for the insurance company to pay, they were refusing to pay. We were told that the insurance did not pay for “Well baby care”. I told them that my baby was NOT well. He was born with a hole in his heart. He was in NICU for 4 weeks. The insurance company sent a representative to our home to try to convince us to believe the lie about “Well Baby Care”. We did end up suing the Insurance Company. The end result was the hospital, doctors and insurance all had to agree to the payoff which ended up being $0.50 on the dollar of the remaining bill after what we had paid. We did get some money after the medical bills were paid.

I'm so sorry that the insurance companies are like that. I will be prayin that there is some kinda break through that will help you and all that were affected by all the hurricanes. I have apartment insurance because I HAVE to have it. It's not like the old days where you could if you want to.

Call your insurance company and ask them. They will tell you if you want your pipes covered in your foundation, you have to ask for it “What”. They never told us that & we never knew it. So to anyone that didn’t know, You might want to check with your insurance company before it’s too late. God Bless you all 🙏🏽

8 years ago my house was robbed, when I contacted the ins co they paid me only for a separate policy I carried on jewelry. I had only insured 8 pieces that I wore. Anyway they paid that policy, but house ins since I didn’t save receipts wouldn’t cover anything. When I replaced a few items I couldn’t get jewelry insurance because I made a claim. So I went to a dif company and they said no because I filed a claim. I could wait 5 years and come back and be reevaluated and see if I was eligible. Welp forget having any jewelry more than sterling silver.
