To compete representing Japan or Germany... wow imagine the discipline! The confidence! An elite in an elite country!

I wouldn't compare him to Scherbo or to anyone, since all of them are quite unique, still Uchimura needs an element in the COP.

Felipe Montoya He has trained a quadruple twisting double double and lands it very well. He just hasn't performed it in a competition yet. That would be the hardest skill in the COP.

Its a waste that he gave up becoming a vault specialist. Japan needs to up their game they are relying too heavily on Kohei.

boojaeah He has wide rage of vaults but unfortunately, the vault is his least favorite event. I've always thought it's the pommel horse, but he mentioned in an interview that he doesn't like vault because it's only last a fraction of a second, and that he'd rather spend his time on other apparatuses than practicing vault.

+PasserBy869 If V is his least favorite event, you won't know it. I don't remember him ever falling on it. And he does the Li Xauopeng, rated at 6.2...one of the hardest vaults in the World. He does it better than anyone in the World. The Li have costed some of the greatest vaulters in the World to lose the V gold.

Vette gaddia Kohei also has Y1080/dragulescu as a 2nd vault. I'm not sure if he still practices Y1080.

boojaeah The Li Xaoupeng is worth 0.2 points more than the Dragulescu. So unless he wants FX EF, he doesn't need the Dragulescu. He's been very consistent with the Li Xaoupeng. And I've never seen anyone do the Li as well as Kohei.

Vette gaddia he actually does VT EF in japan nationals. Unfortunately, i don't think he has the stamina to do so in worlds since he does 18 routines minimum every worlds. especially now that age is a huge factor
