Chester is gone, but we still have Mike. We can’t ressurect Chester, but we can support Mike, let him know that he is not alone.
Chester that Last Album was a Cry for Help before you Know He Offed himself
This. Mike in my books is the best rapper of all time. He has a likeable personality and the dude needs all the support he can get.
Chester's never did he has never going to be dead bro he's going to live on and centuries with his words that he carried through these beats these wonderful beats ever created

#RIPLINKINPARK(1996-2017) gone but never forgotten
every interview or anything i have ever seen of Mike/Linkin Park, He is literally the nicest, friendliest, happiest, most wholesome guy ever. very nice to see in a world so full of negativity
I love Mike. He's awesome and can't wait to hear more of his stuff and more LP hidden gems.
The anniversary package is full of them
Resolution by linkin park sounds good
You know LP is that one of a kind band that wouldn’t risk replacing its frontman. It’s what keeps them at that elevated stage, you know
I always love these interviews of Mike and Chester and LP. Even though Chester's not around anymore which is really sad, it makes me appreciate more of these interviews of Mike and LP
The interviews interesting because he seems so sincere and real. Alot of people are putting up an social appearance but i don't see it in him.
I swear Mike never ages, He looks healthy, happy and content where he's at right now. I'm honestly still hoping for another Fort Minor album someday but if he don't want to look back at the past, I completely understand
More Mike interviews; he's a joy to listen to
Mike is an absolute hero. Such a sincere person i think. I can only wish the best for him and keep checking his work.
I can listen to Mike talking all day. He radiates positive energy. Even when he talks about his struggles. He is so awesome and down to earth. One of the very very few celebrities whom I want to meet and talk personally.
"Lost" gave me the hardest flashback I ever had in my life. 😅 In a good and bad way at the same time. 🤔 "In my head" is also great. @KROQ: perfect interview
Mike is always such a sweetheart oh god I love this man!
Such a genuine person.
Admiration and love for him, always!
It’s good to know Mike shinoda is still doing well
Love Mike ❤ 💀
It's been awhile since the last Linkin Park song so Lost was definitely what we needed.
We are grateful to LINKIN PARK and MIKE SHINODA for releasing the song Lost. We got to listen to Chester again.. In My Head is also damn great.. Mike is best at song writing & music production when you compare to other artist.
I have loved every single thing Mike has done, this includes the solo stuff with Fort Minor everything he creates is just mind blowing.
We Love You Mike !!!
fcking love the new song by Mike!
Love you Mike. Keep up the amazing work man. Love your work.
Keep living brother. Your awesome.
Thanks for having Mike on!
Everyone is always so happy to hear from mike, or anyone from LP. Them doing good and being creative is beautiful after everything. Truly beautiful really.

I loved listening to KROQ growing up in cali.
I love you Mike!
Shinoda is music genius. ⚡
Thannnk you mike omg yes grandma's bo, its one of my favorite movies. Donnie darko, saved, children of men, fight club are also amazing
Thank you dude made my day
Greatest band ever
Thanks for sharing guys. This dude is legendary legend.
I dunno why everybody talks about meteora and hybrid theory like it's some embarrassing relic of their past. I still think meteora is their best album by far, and all I really wanted from them all these years is another album like that, and I'm finally getting it in some fashion
Great vid. Great respect to the 2 djs of the show. Epics questions and the last 2 are the 2 most out there, UNFUCKINGBELIEVEABLE random questions I've ever heard on any show. Upmost Respect to Mike shinoda, and linkin park. Been a fan 4 alot of years. R.I.P. CHESTER
Them releasing Lost, that was the song I didn't know I needed this much, I have been listening to it on repeat all day, it has brought me to tears repeatedly. It felt like closure to me to the loss of Chester.
Chester he needed a true goodbye not like he did before This is A last Testament to a Career
His laughter is LIFE!
Love u ❤️
Just watching this interview with Mike Shinoda gives me the vibes, the good kind obviously. 🫶🏾
So grounded. Mike is just real dude. Always have been. Respect 🙏
Love Mike total music gem 💎! ❤🙌🏽🙌🏽
Mike ❤️
love you mike
Mike you are an amazing person!! So talented and thank you for your music! Cool collaboration
Mike Shinoda incrível!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🇧🇷
I left a comment talking about audio being messed up it was on my end sorry. Great interview!
I'm so grateful we all have Linkin park
Such a thoughtful human☮️💜
Still rolling. Respect
❤ glad to see you out there, and crossing the line is still totally one of my favorites. Have a good year, have a feeling very personal and political to all of us.
Mike, you are awesome 👌 💜
KROQ needs to play this more. I haven’t heard it once yet. Tame Impala 3 different times in one day but Mike? Goose eggs.
Ayyy I freaking love the movie Grandmas Boy haha. We should definitely show it to aliens lol.
Good stuff!
Good to c him miss LP
Mikes an angel among us I swear... I will wage an unholy war if anything happens to him! Cause I Love him..
very cool 😎
Grandma's boy YES MIKE!!!!!!!
Now I need that SNL sketch!
Doing 2 shows a day I wonder if they had time to meet and talk to fans?
That one music video where Mike turns full on villain on a spaceship and starts destroying everything in sight... I can relate
Yes. Aged perfectly....
Listened to radio, it's like my part of Louisiana and as low as athens and most of east Texas up to Hope Arkansas is considered Central region now in radio listening area
#RIPLINKINPARK(1996-2017) gone but never forgotten
Where is Rob ?
)
PS: Green sweater suits you well
Cheers from Perm,Russia
I hope Linkin Park continues to tour and make new music. They can always honor Chester every single concert they have and explain what a great person and band member he was and donate or dedicate every concert to Chester, I really love Linkin Park though and I really hope they can make me more music, I don't think it's disrespectful to Chester. I feel like Chester would want his bandmates to continue
Based on hearing the first 2 fresh releases, Mike can justify an entire album of everything that didn’t quite make it onto each record. For the standard of what made it onto each record, the stuff that didn’t make it is PROBABLY worth a listen too. It’s not like the second 12 songs out of top 100 aren’t great too.
I can imagine, yes, Mike in the studio with you guys. You just have a bowl full of fruit loops and Mike taking out one at a time. Maybe crushing them up into a line as a joke! Lol!
Wow, the cereal question was the most epic question EVER
Mike has never texted me back either lol
It’s okay Mike, I love Grandma’s Boy too!!!
you know i have this little wish that the guys in linkin park get together again just for a couple of tracks, but doing a new approach on the sound characteristic, where the drums sounds is being given more "soundtstage" or space in the mix, where bass dont overwhelm the track and the guitars on simply hitting occasionally and give much hole to the drums to come out and joe running atmospheric etherical sounds in the background that is not "music" but flow with the music. and it all play with mike doing his singing and a bit of rap like he does in his independent tracks. and the drums sounded punchy and roomy.
#RIPLINKINPARK(1996-2017) gone but never forgotten
I don't think iv ever heard a bad song from you guys. Even the demos that are just instrumentals sound fantastic. Granted the sound quality wasn't there but damn dude I don't think you guys have released a piece of music or video that I didn't strongly like
some of the one more light stuff were pretty mediocre but agree. Every song they make is a masterpiece
@xero I really like the music in the One More Light album; shows that there are many sides to the sad emotions they always sing about, sometimes you just want to slowly cry instead of screaming. But to each man his own.
grandma's boy is awesome
Wait, what's coming out for meteora 20th? When? Where cani get it? I want it. Now. Lol
mike is the sweety guy, im loving him
I agree, The Shining is in the horror genre, it's a suspense horror, but it counts.
OK while from the UK but cause I did visit the US I did try Fruit Loops and that is mad funny that stuff is like drugs for kids lol.
thats my favorite movie too haha
10:25 I love fruit loops too. Haven’t had them in years tho lol
I like Reeses' Puffs. Always enjoyed it in 2009 before school. It was because of that Reeses' Puffs commercial back in 2009.

KROQ
solo?
how can Mike look like he just turned 30?
Why did they need to reinvent the band after their second album? It was so weird, just start a side project
Linkin park. Best rock band ever. Respect to Metallica it ain't even close.
mike loves grandmas boy lol
GREAT GUY not FOR ME SONG AT ALL! BUT GOOD FOR YOU HOMIE
Mike Shinoda’s only struggle is making a bad song…
He struggles to make a bad song.
#RIPLINKINPARK(1996-2017) gone but never forgotten
It's not LOST, it's LAST I think 🤔
I was never really a fan of LP. But just like Pantera when key players die, you should name it something else.
Meteora was linkin park at their best. Period
I think "aged perfectly" isn't right. "Lost" is more of an "aged tragically" deal.
The song's meaning completely makes it sound like it's about how we feel about linkin park 😢
#RIPLINKINPARK(1996-2017) gone but never forgotten
@@MohdSajid-jf8pg Linkin Park isn't gone yet. Officially, the band is still together. They just haven't done anything since Chester's passing.
@@SigTheSauceMan no its official confirmation they're done
Hybrid Theory, Meteora and Hunting Party are miles beyond the other albums. Linkin Park is/was at its best being angry. To each their own, explore, do what you feel, but the rest feels pretty forced or untrue to the sound for the most part. Just my take. I like a lot of songs on the other albums (except One More Light, that album is a write off unfortunately). Good pop and good music is good, can be great, but when you forego entire members' parts and sub-in famous guests, you lose the sound.
Just my take. Only love.
Most fans like LP because of Chester's singing talent and as a front man, but the backbone of the band is Mike.
I will never understand why they wanted to reinvent LP. They were great at that time, they were making magic, why stop?
Because they didn't want to get stale.
because they were about making the best music the can and want, and not making 3rd Hybrid Theory style album.
While I completely understand their decision and used to agree with it, especially as it led to A Thousand Suns, I do kinda wish they'd carried on for at least one more album of the old style. After hearing Lost anyway.
#RIPLINKINPARK(1996-2017) gone but never forgotten
In the MTM documentary, Chester said, "We didn't wanna make a trilogy. We didn't wanna make something that people would expect."
" ... Not how music works, you're supposed to change it up." - Eric, REACT
Mike also said, "the HT/M sound was exhausted. It was for them and other bands to make/remake and they needed to move on."
I've been thinking the same thing and I felt that they could've, but do so not in the studio but in an assembly line production factory.
