Hello! I ran into an issue. So when it finished backing up, it gave me an error saying “item doesn’t exist”. Then, all of my storage was taken up after. I deleted every Imazing related thing after. I now have 4GB left. I used to have 18GB. But after the imazing backup, it took up random storage. Also, do you know why it gave me an error saying this? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! (Edit: I am running iOS 15+)
That error hasn't happened to me, not sure why you're getting that. Maybe try fully uninstalling imazing by going into the application "run" on your computer, entering "appdata" then finding a folder somewhere called "imazing" and delete all of its files to free up space. Then try again

what he meant at the end by “it will do some other thing”, basically it will restore your iphone or ipad from the backed up data from icloud plus the gd nong song thing wouldnt work cuz if the backup is that old that it was BEFORE the time you downloaded the songs on gd it wouldn’t replace them with the songs you want

hey MWD, i just tried this on my iphone and I think it backed up ALL my data on my phone and it restored like 70gb of data (that was already there before doing this). Also, the GD songs that i downloaded and tried to replace just werent there anymore and it looks like my GD reverted back to a previous state. Any idea as to what went wrong

Yes but I don’t recommend it at all because iOS versions past 12 have VERY bad issues, including the wave trail bug and taps not registering (especially in 2018 and 2019 iPad models)
@@taneenshinzay1235 oh I see Well if your device is jailbroken you can use the file app to do it similar to steam files on a pc, finding the song and its file’s name (the ID) then pasting in and renaming your song file to be the same
when I tried opening with winrar, it just opened the winrar application and not the geometry dash file. Notably, it just took me to the winrar installation despite me having it already installed
Hello, I have an error saving progress. The error is that when I save in progress it says it was successful, but when I synchronize it, it synchronizes the old data and not the data I saved. Is there a way to fix it other than using iMazing?
I'm not sure what you mean. In winrar, does it not save when you drag the songs into the modified app? I'm not sure why this happens (if it's the issue) and that would be a problem with winrar itself, I'd try reinstalling or restarting the whole process
when i rebooted my phone to transfer the files, i followed what the tutoral said, and now my phone is loading on the "enter iphone passcode" screen. I entered my passcode like an hour ago but it is still loading. im scared

Most likely you do have space! The program can be a bit glitchy Go into "appdata" in the "run" application like you're replacing a song file for gd, then roaming folder, then delete the entire imazing folder for that (it should be very very large and you don't need it) and that should free up the space for a backup
@@miniwheatduo hmmm, thanks for the suggestion and I just tried but it hasn’t worked. I guess it’s just being troublesome as by my knowledge 29.3GB is more than 4.4GB. I even tried to back up a 15mb application which has its own internal files like GD’s songs but I get the same ‘not enough available space’ error. I’m using iOS 15.0.2 on an iPad Air 4 but hopefully later on I can try this on my hard drive, I’ll let you know if there are results.
My final guess would be to just restart both devices, then uninstall and reinstall the imazing program because if all else fails, turning it off and on again usually works lol
@@miniwheatduo (very big read incoming) I may have sorted it (as of now I've managed to extract the Geometry.imazing thingy. What I think my issue was that it wanted to backup all of my iPad data which is 200gb xd (probably for the backup/extract from latest backup). I'll explain the journey here in as much detail as it might help guide some. I ended up having to create a backup location on my hard drive first (through 'create backup location') then I did the backup of all that 200+GB data to my hard drive which was fine but time consuming. This shouldn't be a problem if you can fit your iPad storage onto your laptop's storage but I tried to extract the file the normal way shown on this vid through backup but that failed as iMazing automatically tries to backup to the folder miniwheatduo mentioned earlier (AppData/Roaming/iMazing) which only leads to iMazing telling you that the precise area where the backup is being made being a folder a couple folders deeper already exists (Temp/Apps within the iMazing folder). Then I changed the hard drive first but it refused to extract the file in my hard drive. The solution to this for me? Drag and drop onto the PC and the iMazing file pops up on your main screen although you need enough space on your PC from the games documents and data to do this. Could be a hindrance for some. I'll see how the rest goes for now. I’m back again. This took a lot longer than it should’ve done, not entirely done the whole process myself but I’m sure anyone who reads and follows this video could make it work just fine but I’ll still leave it up to where I am. I downloaded winRAR and tried to open the Geometry.imazing file through it like shown in this video but this didn’t work as iMazing now ‘can’t run multiple instances of itself at the same time’ (even with iMazing closed it opens up in iMazing from Winrar) however; I could right click and select view file to be able to view the area where the container/documents are. All my songs come up just fine and that file can have song ID’s put into it the same way as this video (I’m also sure that the game save/backup files can be saved onto the PC through the documents area too but I’ll look it up and confirm). What I wanted to do here was get some songs from my phones GD documents and data then transfer over, this should let someone who has a song or many songs that are banned on one iOS device and transfer that banned song into the geometry.iMazing file which doesn’t have that song downloaded (precisely like PC song file switching but with extra steps) this will work as long as an online level in game has the banned song ID as far as I’m aware. Inside the Geometry.iMazing file the song plays perfectly and the ID’s aren’t mixed up Where my issue of not being done came from was one my own mistakes (fortunately as my recent backup isn’t super old I lose practically nothing, plus I restore my GD data to what it was before I saw this vid at least). The real solution would first be to have enough space on the PC (more than your geometry.iMazing file, mine had 2977 songs xd). Then going to quick transfer exactly like in this video. What happens after selecting to add the geometry.iMazing file to apps (after the vid closes off) is that iMazing asks to reboot your iPad, you may remember miniwheatduo telling you not to do this specifically before he leaves but I’m warning you *IF YOU DON’T WANT TO LOSE ALL OF YOUR DEVICES DATA HERE CLICK THE X IN THE TOP RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE BOX* after that you setup your iCloud and device again. If you don’t know how to do this it is detailed below and you may or may not have the new songs in your game; unfortunately for me, I made a mistake in wanting to get this done quickly. I rushed to complete the whole thing near the end as I’d had storage issues for hours and hours. I should’ve been patient which would’ve made me not do my de-tour, which I’ll also leave here. I screwed up and clicked reboot without thinking after my first quick transfer, this set my iPads data back but only half a year (not just GD the entire iPad, could’ve been worse as I don’t even remember doing that backup), I had lost a bunch of levels in my created section, demons, stars. It wasn’t the end of the world but it was a tad bit disappointing. What I did here was first wait for the geometry.iMazing app to vanish from the iMazing/temp/apps area, you can delete from there without issue as long as you know what you are deleting (right click>properties, check file size). Now do the quick transfer process again *and cross off the box kindly offering to reboot.* I could probably improve on this bit as again I only managed to get the data I almost lost back for GD but for that situation, the device first should take its time to reset after you’ve transferred the geometry.iMazing file to the iPad. Then you need to do a basic iCloud setup of your device again but set it up as if you were carrying data from one device to another (use your current iCloud email to sign in, select whatever settings you have on normally). iMazing tells you to choose ‘don’t transfer apps and data’, this comes quite late into the setup (sometime after entering your iCloud info) so don’t worry if you see something to do with apps&data at the start. Then do the rest of the setup which should be location services, Apple ID, etc and you should have GD data and safari data back (other games would’ve probably been restorable if their .iMazing files were on the PC before this mistake. I did lose some photos but not an issue for me. I would’ve said to use the restore option on iMazing but it costs money. I’ll see if I can possibly get it back without paying.

I select don't transfer apps and data and end up getting what I had before the quick transfer. What could I be doing wrong. (Or better still could you describe as specifically as possible what happens)
When I tried this the first time, it worked perfectly without any problems. The second time however, the song I added would not play in the game. It would just play silence. I checked the file, the song was playing. Any idea how to fix this?
Might be the converter you used to download the song. As of recently, some converters don't work with gd on computer for some reason. I would try a different one or just record the audio yourself so you know it'll work
It's a different video - yeah this should now work on any iOS version unless you have something super ancient. It does not need to be redone / stop working after new iOS updates. I use 13.6 and it works fjne
Ok, so i got past that problem, but i did the final step and it didn't replace the songs. I didn't turn off find my iphone cause i assumed it would instruct me to do so after restarting the phone, but ig i was supposed to turn it off before the final step? Idk
Not sure what this is about, it shouldn't force you to... try uninstalling/reinstalling imazing and free up some space on your computer just in case it couldn't back up the app
You can only replace songs if you have the ID downloaded in the game already, so you can with a different song ID but not with the one you probably want

@@VibreX You need to download a medium version of your texture pack and iMazing app on your computer. Then replace GD files on tp files, just like change music in this video
I haven’t talked to anybody who ran into this problem... if it says it needs to, I would just follow the instructions and do it until you can go on to the next step in the tutorial

you pressed back up data instead of "Don't Transfer Anything" if you back it up it will just be replaced by the original gd file.

Then you need to do a basic iCloud setup of your device again but set it up as if you were carrying data from one device to another (use your current iCloud email to sign in, select whatever settings you have on normally). iMazing tells you to choose ‘don’t transfer apps and data’, this comes quite late into the setup (sometime after entering your iCloud info) so don’t worry if you see something to do with apps&data at the start. Then do the rest of the setup which should be location services, Apple ID, etc and you should have GD data and safari data back (other games would’ve probably been restorable if their .iMazing files were on the PC before this mistake. I did lose some photos but not an issue for me. I would’ve said to use the restore option on iMazing but it costs money. I’ll see if I can possibly get it back without paying.
@@miniwheatduo one more question. It's about the final step of this thing. The apps & data thing in particular. I select don't transfer apps and data and end up getting what I had before the quick transfer. What could I be doing wrong. (Or better still could you describe as specifically as possible what happens)
When I tried this the first time, it worked perfectly without any problems. The second time however, the song I added would not play in the game. It would just play silence. I checked the file, the song was playing. Any idea how to fix this?
Might be the converter you used to download the song. As of recently, some converters don't work with gd on computer for some reason. I would try a different one or just record the audio yourself so you know it'll work

Not to my knowledge sadly because there's no designated folder accessible in the app files through winrar that goes to the texture pack and menu song

It's a different video - yeah this should now work on any iOS version unless you have something super ancient. It does not need to be redone / stop working after new iOS updates. I use 13.6 and it works fjne

Not sure what this is about, it shouldn't force you to... try uninstalling/reinstalling imazing and free up some space on your computer just in case it couldn't back up the app

You can only replace songs if you have the ID downloaded in the game already, so you can with a different song ID but not with the one you probably want
