The lights on this track at night in VR are definitely going to kill FPS just like Daytona, I hope there will be some optimisation done to reduce the negative performance hit from lights and headlights on track.
This game is fantastic, I have just come from a PS4 to an i7 10gen 4ghz OC to 4.8 i think, 16gb vengance ram and a msi GTX 1660 super 6gb, And Damn its amazing, I cant get off it when i get time, But i cant buy any packs until next week, So i only got the bare minimum of the game at the moment, But Damn you got the driving and tire wear on point, My AC wont load an i not even bothered while i got rFactor 2, Its breath taking addictive, Simples, I want to try every car, I grew up when British touring car racing was on channel 4 all weekend, An i loved it, Even Rally was on Sundays if i remember right, I was born in 79 so almost an old man, lol... But yeah i tried the new updates last night, An yeah its either me going crazy but felt a lot better, Lets just say its worth every penny, I want the whole thing tho lol, Cost of living is stopping me from being able to afford the touring pack, I had save months for my PC so yeah things are tight other wise i would buy every pack available, I can recommend this game with no fear of being made to look a fool, You all done an amazing job putting this sim game together, After all simulation racing is more than just a game............ Its an experience rFactor does amazingly well......
I'd like to give this a go (and I'm VERY interested in all the BTCC content) - but this game doesnt seem to support ultrawide monitors? My 49" monitor gets stretched in RF2 and I cant seem to fix it :(
rfactor 2 should lock the camera in the cockpit, it's demotivating to know that there are drivers on the same grid as you, driving from the hood of the car
@@Evets_79 I tried so many things. Pov, seat positions, just have to use bonnet cam. Look to apex just looks at more A pillar. Acura Dpi is perfect, this car is difficult to see.

rF2 works on my ultrawide no problem. Make sure you have the resolution and aspect ratio set correctly.

Hi Nataniel. Server admins have the ability to lock camera views if they so wish, as well as a whole host of other options / aids / setups etc
16x9 monitors need not apply for cockpit view. Left turn Apex? Nah, just guess.
use headtracking, helps alot!

I have 16:9 monitors and its just fine, well as long as I use the 3 of them ;)
