@ThatOneDudeNick The bigger conundrum is why this content isn't behind an NDA to begin with. Also why was it able to be tested to the extent you could create a guide on the entire thing, every mechanic. It's just icky..
@@Afflicton it was on NDA with a release date which was today with the only exception being no campaign spoilers. Honestly I don't see the issue as long as it is not story spoilers its all good. I can learn the mechanics of the raid a bit instead of going in blind and people around me getting pissed off at me lmao.

Now try with three randoms who you've never played with before! 🤣 I can see this getting very frustrating with other players not knowing what to do and ignoring the prompts...you basically need at least 2 competent players with strong builds to get anywhere. This mode has the only rewards in the game which requires T4 (the cosmetics) so I can see players selling carries for huge amounts of both in-game and not in-game currency...

I really hope making alts isn't a thing, this is how I burned out of Lost Ark. It is the opposite of casual play; it is full on degen. Sure I have the choice not to do that, but I have the choice to not do the citadel, the choice not to buy the expansion. But really we do all these things to get the best outcome we can get. So saying there is a choice is not true, its a false choice really.
why? i did probaly one of the hardest raids in history slavations edge and i would say the raid in d4 looks solide not too many mechanics but for theiere first raid its very good

@@Snaking0 that is FAR from the "only problem". first off you play with more than 4 people when you kill most world bosses, furthermore 85% of the players play solo (thats not a guess thats blizzards official number)! so what made them think putting in a faux raid was a good idea? mind you in phantasy star online (circa 2000) this sort of content is simply called "challenge mode" and even then it was 4 players. also why lock soloists out of it? as for hard core players.. fuck em? i can see in an offline game doing it, but when theres special items in the game to save you from dying if you disconnect or bite off more than you can chew..? you are just doing something stupid. whats more playing hard core just makes you play like more of a bitch because you are literally afraid of dying and having to start over. dont take it too hard though, i think far less of people who care about pvp in this game.

Meanwhile the fun part about playing at launch for many is the blind progression, before people can expect, and largely demand, knowing all of the mechanics through guides or experience already.

Doesn't really seem blizzard is treating it as a traditional raid tbh. It feels like this is more of them testing to see how the community reacts to raids. If the community likes it I can see the going more towards traditional raids in the future
Destiny wow poe , shit any game really the opening of a new raid and content is some of the most fun and exciting content for racing etc. I think it's a bit of a shame they let them "test" it early instead of just making it super hard the first week and have the streamers and sweats battle for world first then nerfing it after the opening weekend personally
