- Today we are heading back to St. Pete to check out a couple places we have been wanting to visit for a long time. Now the first spot has been around for awhile and has probably been the most recommended place for us to visit on our channels. And the second one we have tried when it was just a food truck in this area and now they have their own brick and mortar.

My family & friends ❤ Mazarro's! They have lots of Unique stuff! They import Lots of their items.
Mazzaro’s is a St. Pete gem. I highly recommend the #7 and the #23 sandwiches. And their weekday breakfast sandwiches are awesome too and only 4.99. I absolutely love everything from there.
We only had to visit once to feel the same, Mike. We'll be excited to stop in for one of those breakfast sandwiches next time we're in St. Pete in the AM. Sounds like a steal.

We have been to Mazzaros twice during the week and both times it has been busy. The food is excellent and is a great place to shop for deli meats, chesses and wine. You should try Snook Haven in Venice, right on the Myakka River. Is what they call Old Florida.

I love Mazzaro’s! I live 5 minutes from there and I have yet to try that lobster roll ! Going to get one tomorrow 😋

You need to try, The Brisket Shoppe on Armenia in Tampa. For sure get the brisket. Also suggest the jalapeño sausage, the tallow fries and Mac and cheese. Smoked turkey breast is also a sleeper that is bomb.
My foodie alarm peaks all-time w your vids you guys, love good Italian as well. Lasagna to go ready to cook, killin me:))
We could have picked up meals for the whole week there if we wanted! They also had take and bake pizzas that looked amazing 😀

All the food looked delish but I'd sure put my face in that bakery "Lobster Roll". Looks SO yummy! Love the casual look at your goings and comings on this channel and, of course, the bloopers are always fun to watch! 🙂

Sadly Covid changed that. Mazzaros is spectacular though. If you’re a music fan and record collector Banana’s next door is another St Pete gem.
Wow, getting those sandwiches for $5.50 seems unbelievable now. Thanks for the heads up on Banana's. I am not a record collector, as I fear I would spend WAY too much money on them if I ever got into the hobby, but we do both love music and still enjoy browsing through them.

There are some things we miss about living in downtown St. Pete, but we sure do NOT miss the construction! Good luck trying Mazarro's on the weekend, let us know how it goes, and have an iced coffee for us!

Sandwiches looked so good! Gonna put Mazarro's on the list for next trip to the area. Everyone says we should try Ted Peter's famous smoked fish because I love old school Florida. Have ya'll ever heard of it?
Yeaa, we are so happy to hear that, we really were impressed with the sandwiches, coffee and baked goods, we hope you enjoy it when you go.
We have heard great things about Ted Peter's as well, sounds like a good candidate for our next St Pete trip!
I have had both Mazarro’s (crazy busy most of the time, but love their Italian sandwich, roasted coffee beans, breads and cookies) and Ted Peters. The Spanish mackerel at Ted Peters is my favorite, but you’ll need to get there early because they often run out. Also, Ted Peters is a cash business….I think they still have an ATM on the premises.
I grew up in St Pete but live in Seattle now. Every trip Ted Peters is a must and I mean a few tris. Best hambergers, German potato salad and root beer in frosted mugs. And I don’t even care for root beer!!! Cash only but it’s a St Pete institution! Family run for over 50 years. Also smoked fish spread is terrific. Was featured on Diners Drive ins and Dives on Food Network.
I think you guys should review Chicago Jaqx Pizzeria and Taphouse, Gulf Blvd., Indian Rocks Beach. They have authentic Chicago deep dish, which their menu calls "Stuffed Pizza".
Thank you for the recommendation, I don't think we've heard of it, but we love IRB and could go for some deep dish pizza!

Probably solid 2yrs of major construction downtown through edge and grand central, should calm down 2nd half of 2026 ,lots of new buildings is great
