religious nonsense - Peter states the OUTWARD appearance is NOT to be exalted above the inward, he was exorting women to focus on the "inner man/hidden man of the heart", and to give more attention to this - for this (inner man) is what you makes you truly beautiful in the sight of God(and therefore man also). You wont find any General of God speaking what you said, thats religious nonsense from the dark ages. Religion always tries to place rules and regulations on an outward appearance and or outward activity, at the cost of KNOWING God - and thus inwardly beautifying ourselves through His Spirit.
We are to take care of ourselves and make ourselves presentable naturally too!
