the Mississippi backwaters Are UNREAL! (Loaded w/ fish!)

Why is this place so freakin' cool? Fishing the Mississippi backwaters between Minnesota and Wisconsin continues to absolutely blow my mind…. Between the pike in here being aggressive and decent-sized, the smallmouth bass being healthy and in good numbers, the drum being big and hungry, and Im sure there are some nice catfish, walleye and crappie swimming around in that general area, it’s a wonderful place to paddle around and enjoy the day! Just another epic day kayaking around and finding fish - the ned rig proved effective yet again, but the swimbait also got me into some nice pike as well! Cant wait to go back.....
