Kul'tiras is honestly amazing. My favorite zone is by far Drustvar. Its so atmospheric, its a decent mystery, has a great villain. u rarely see Gorak Tul but he makes such an impression. You see him just as often as Skovald but he was a nothing character. Gorak tul is intimidating and interesting. The heartsbane coven is creepy. And do i even Have to mention the creepiest little girl in gaming?
You said you recommended doing Tiragarde Sound first, I actually did it last. I felt it was best experienced as the end of the leveling experience, it has such a powerful climax, and fits the "final act" really well!
Thé size of that with thé Velocity to Carver that deep into a planet would make the planet most likely implode after having caused a complete decimation on the surface
Three years late, but - Man that would have made for an *amazing* expansion. Sargeras's parting gift of a stab into Azeroth severely damages the planet, to the point that natural resources start becoming scarce. Alliance and Horde are forced not only to fight against new dangers (fuckin,,, make us fight living natural disasters. Bring back Murrmur. Let G'hun be the infection on the wound Sargeras made. Stuff like that), but also to compete against each other over the increasingly scare materials both factions need to survive. It'd give a whole double meaning to the title "Battle for Azeroth". Both a battle for the survival of Azeroth as a planet, and a battle over who controls the parts Azeroth that are necessary to survive.
If anyone can tell me what song plays when you're sailing into Boralus on the rowboat at 16:20 that'd make my day, tried looking for it but couldn't find it.
Anyone else disappointed that after the build up of her character we discover Jaina's mom is an idiot being manipulated by a woman so obviously evil she makes cruella de vile seem subtle
Jaina is the most maltreated characters in wow i mean she fought her entire life for peace and then the horde bombed her city, the prince she once loved turned into a worldwide enemy and a leader to the undead, she helped defeat and kill her father for peace and all she get is betrayal and rejection i mean come on blizzard give her some credit she deserves some!!
Akhilesh P She didn’t betray Arthas I mean even Uther didn’t help him because he was going to commit a dark act + she saved her people by going to kalmindor and when the horde attacked her father she also protected them by standing down and not interfering in the war and i think any other character in wow would have sacrificed their dad for peace between the alliance and horde
Akhilesh P The purging of stratholme was the first step to Arthas’s fall to darkness even the light abandoned Arthas’s hammer in the purge so you can’t blame jaina for abandoning him at the purge + Remember she did for him something even greater then helping kill those infected with the plague by saving his people and leading them to kalmindor
I feel you. I think it was both on a personal as well as on a grand level. They couldn't let the people in that city turn into undead either. That's just signing them up for a horrible death, and then eventually they'll be wandering around killing others. So you could say she had some principles she couldn't break. But she later ends up killing left and right anyway.
I recognised Taelia’s name, when Katherine said “your father would be proud” i wondered if the emphasis on father means hes more significant. Is there a chance her father is Bolvar Fordragon? When I searched on google it said so, also stormwind guard, died against the Lich King. If so, it’d be amazing to see them interact.
Yes. At the end of the "Pride of Kul'Tiras" storyline where you find out whatever happened to Jaina while you were questing (not gonna spoil it), she presents to Anduin with her full name, to which Anduin shows *unusual interest* (if you know what I'm talking about). What makes it even more interesting is that Bolvar played quite a big part in the DK Order Hall during Legion, kind of having his character revived. But, as far as I know, Anduin does not know that he became the Lich King after Arthas was killed. So Bolvar is alive, his daughter and (basically) godson are both alive and being quite charming to each other. And to top it off: Uther's Tomb got a massive visual update (Uther's spirit most likely know what happened to Bolvar considering their ties together and his soul being released from Frostmourne before Bolvar took the place of the Lich King). This whole side of the lore is keeping me excited.
Now I'm not trying to bring anyone's hope down for a future Stormwind Queen, but consider the possibility that Sylvanas might kidnap, kill, or raise Taelia as an undead just to demoralize Anduin.
Why is aysa (the pandaren leader) at the front of the ship? We havent had any update from the pandas since MoP and now she is randomly along with the journey
There are a lot of pandaren alliance soldiers too. I saw someone suggest that the Pandaren were coming along to make sure the Alliance is respectful to the KT culture, and don't make the same mistakes they did back in Pandaria.
Jay Wingate i noticed that as well I dont know if the 7th legion troops are just random but i noticed that there are at least 2 pandaren in every squad
Good Video Nobbel87, however i did find the background in game music during the briefing scene to be a bit to loud. It made hearing the briefing difficult, and i had to watch it over again to get the full thing.
There is this weird cave found the underwater in stromsong monastery, Boralus where there is an altar in the cave. It is where the tide sages are using their water magic to close some rift in the water. You have to swim to the bottom of that and you will see the cave
I could listen to you forever! Tuned into your stream last night (couldn't sleep, so it was perfect that you did a late stream) and it was very calming! You make lore much more interesting and I've watched almost all of your videos. Kudos to you my friend! (Also, I love your accent.) Hugs from Sweden! (〃▽〃)
Mach Yeah, he went back to Karazhan to look for any books or knowledge that could help heal Azeroth. He didnt want to draw weapons against either of the factions, because he felt like they bonded as they fought the Legion together.
I'm wondering where's Thrall in all this... It's like they know these characters wouldn't agree with what's going on, but it feels too difficult to write their characters into the storyline so instead they basically make them go, "Screw y'all. Go ahead and go kill each other. I'll be off elsewhere." xD
They cut Thrall out, he was originally announced as the other major player for the Horde, along with Sylvannas, with Anduin and Jaina for the Alliance. So far it seems they've reduced Thrall's original role and gave it to Saurfang or cut his story out altogether. He could show up in a later content patch but right now it seems like that's not happening. Maybe Aszhara will bring him out of hiding.
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! I main a hordie but I got asked a few months to make an alliance toon as well for a guild and I just started levelling her and I was extremely confused on why Jaina had mommy issues 😂 Now it all makes sense!
Am i the only one missing sylvanas ive done the 2nd part of the warcampaign (4k/12k) and only heard her name being mentioned once (no clue about ally side and anduin)
Question. On completing quest line in the dungeon Siege of Boralus, I saw that Anduin's Lion's Guard have shining golden eyes (like elves have, but they are definitely human). Why?
if i might make one small criticism, (and i don't know if it was just me) but the music was a bit too loud when we were listening to Taelia briefing us on the situation in Kul Tiras. As much as I love the Soundtrack for BfA it was somewhat jarring. Thank or I'm a pansy.
did the quest where we even destroy our artifact weapons happened or what?? as i am lost to when did we surrender them like before the battle for lordaeron or when
I still think that the zone introductory cinematics could have been much better if they'd been narrated by the voice of the old classic races cinematics.
Ironically we the players were one of the reasons that the Lord Admiral died, well he did have it coming to him to be honest but while i was watching the warbringer episode i felt awkward since i was one of those players who played the bonus campaign of the expansion
basically what Riley said. I don't really care to play the game anymore but still love the lore of WoW. Nobbel does a fantastic job of covering the lore that I'm not compelled to resubscribe to WoW just to play through the story campaigns.
I would like to ask, as a horde player, all the Alliance humans, how would you react if you Humans where the ones who took the blood of Mannoroth, how would you reconcile the murdering rampage you would do. How would the Orcs treat you if the places where switched.
Also kind of irrelevant to Orcs following psychopath Sylvanas. No blood of Mannoroth to blame for following who has committed genocide twice against Gilneas and Darnassus, then again with weapons of mass destruction on troops of both sides at Lordaeron. What a piece of work.
She spent years in Dalaran, and accents change if you spend time around other accents. If you click on Jaina a bunch she says "I never realized I lost my accent."
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but Theramore was founded by the survivors of Dalaran, right? That means the Lord Admiral had no legal authority to invade, or to conscript the people of Theramore to prosecute his war against Thrall's Horde. The only thing Jaina did wrong in that situation was failing to defend her people from her father.
If it has ever been mentioned, how exactly are the Old Gods sealed in Azeroth? Like are magicaly sealed in a can, are they in a physical prison. Also what exactly manifested with both Yogg-Saron and C'Thun fights?
the old gods are sealed deep under azeroths crust in physical prisons (you know the chamber ya'sharajj heart was in during MoP? kinda like that but bigger and deeper) their prisons are not so broken that the old gods can escape, but they are able to manifest their powers and influence things outside. what we fought were avatars, not their actual forms.
Is it just me, or is Priscilla Ashvane's necklace awfully similar to the Heart of Azeroth? o.o (I play Horde, so I have no idea if this is addressed anywhere. It's also super possible I'm just seeing things, but the color patterns look very similar to me)
i have always wondered. if our characters were part of the lore where do we stand in terms of power? in the horde side story zul tells jaina . if she stays and not put out the fire in stormwind she can take us all on.we have beaten countless raid bosses but it just seems cause the lore characters were busy xD.
The story of this zone is so much weaker than Zandalar. With Zandalar there's a sense of urgency and a great looming threat, Kul Tiras has neither of those things. It's such a shame.
just have to say Kul Tiras is possibly the most immersive human settlement just because of the 3 body types scattered throughout
imagine thinking fat people are real
Loving the added commentary in the video subtitles! xD "Mommy, I'm Home!"
Kul'tiras is honestly amazing. My favorite zone is by far Drustvar. Its so atmospheric, its a decent mystery, has a great villain. u rarely see Gorak Tul but he makes such an impression. The moment I saw that creepy little girl skipping and singing.... Creepy as hell.
@@Grounders10 that gave me some heavy “F.E.A.R.“ flashbacks with allma
One of them after Alma from FEAR and Bioshock's Little Sisters.
Will Jaina find One Piece and become the Pirate Queen?
nice one
would be better to see jaina in a one piece or a bikini..
Luffy is too op tho
Håvard Ramberg but rub is weak against liquid nitrogen
lmao nice
I just love Flynn :D
This expansion's music.
In legion I had my music low. In BFA I love listening whilst looking into the valley from a beautiful vista
It's just as good on the Horde side, trust me.

Flynn - "OOOH YOU BRUTE!"
Nixxiom - "ISHNU ALAAAAAAH WEARY TRAVELER!"
Monguku I NEED a machinima where they both meet.
Monguku Hitting him as a gnome and getting that reaction is one my best experiences in wow and I’ve played since vanilla 😆
If I'd hear that instead. I'd quit my job as a prison guard. I wouldn't want to be that close to that guy.
I just realised that you've put up actual subtitles for your videos. You're a godsend.
Let's be fair, that sword would have made a dust cloud big enough to give us an ice age

Actually Gonk the Avatar of some Loa sounds just like Artanis, voice like, though not necessarily with voice lines.
I guess losing your country because you decided to go it alone changes you.
Lol I love how Jana in the thumbnail looks like she’s saying “NANI??”
Lol @ whoever wrote the subtitles, thank you for adding an extra layer of entertainment with that commentary
20:19 isn't that a tassadar quotes?
Glad to see Greymann takes time to play starcraft
It's definitely a protoss quote. The High Templar say it, and Artanis had it in his lines in WoL and LotV. Not sure Tassadar ever said it though.
He says it in Heroes of the storm, Artanis does too now when you say it :D

Tacotilko or Ursula

Assassin Cactus I was thinking of the lady that’s on dance moms lol. But yeah Ursula also
The end of the current alliance campaign is very heart touching imo. Can't wait for you to show it on here.

Where's Khadgar in all of this? Did he just left when the legion is defeated?
Mach Yeah, he went back to Karazhan to look for any books or knowledge that could help heal Azeroth. He didnt want to draw weapons against either of the factions, because he felt like they bonded as they fought the Legion together.
cleary being on outland all this time made khadgar stupid

if i might make one small criticism, (and i don't know if it was just me) but the music was a bit too loud when we were listening to Taelia briefing us on the situation in Kul Tiras.
As much as I love the Soundtrack for BfA it was somewhat jarring.
Thank or I'm a pansy.
How should i questing through the maps for lore. I mean wich one is the first and how to continue. And pls for horde and allys if u know the answer.
Nobbel can you do a video on the cinematic at the end of the Jaina story that’s out at the moment
the alliance side, seems so much more in depth than the horde side. makes me wana play alliance.
there is a riot going one up in cellblock number nine
did the quest where we even destroy our artifact weapons happened or what?? as i am lost to when did we surrender them like before the battle for lordaeron or when
So the main antagonist in Kul Tiras is literally Ursula from Ariel? lol
who is the boss bwonsambi talking about? And who was the spirit that escaped from him before vol'jin did?
I still think that the zone introductory cinematics could have been much better if they'd been narrated by the voice of the old classic races cinematics.
When did the creepy Jaina flashback happen? I never got that cutscene..
Ironically we the players were one of the reasons that the Lord Admiral died, well he did have it coming to him to be honest but while i was watching the warbringer episode i felt awkward since i was one of those players who played the bonus campaign of the expansion
1:04 do those shoulder-guards taste good?
Why doesn't Jaina's staff glow with Lightning? It seems like they forgot she got some unstoppable power after ToT.
eh maybe it's time to get that 'double agent' achievement..
So who has finished the whole alliance storyline with Jaina and her mom?
Daaaamn I might play Alliance this expansion.
Kami75 Do it.
this is great thk u
What about this crazy theory : Sylvanas was shown by the azerite a way to become the loa of death.
Its such a game of thrones vibe with this, i like it

basically what Riley said. I don't really care to play the game anymore but still love the lore of WoW. Nobbel does a fantastic job of covering the lore that I'm not compelled to resubscribe to WoW just to play through the story campaigns.

I get so much Fable feels from Kul Tiras, anyone else???
Whoa i didn't see that daelin scene somehow
I would like to ask, as a horde player, all the Alliance humans, how would you react if you Humans where the ones who took the blood of Mannoroth, how would you reconcile the murdering rampage you would do.
How would the Orcs treat you if the places where switched.
Auriorium well, it didn't happen, which means orcs are more power hungry than humans ever did
Also kind of irrelevant to Orcs following psychopath Sylvanas. No blood of Mannoroth to blame for following who has committed genocide twice against Gilneas and Darnassus, then again with weapons of mass destruction on troops of both sides at Lordaeron. What a piece of work.
Orcs have shown their true colors this expansion; murdering civilians, glorifying genocide.
Yes but also humans are constantly showing thy are a bunch of idiots. For them the Horde is the Burning Legion.
Thy are both blind.
Didn't know King Robert Baratheon was Jainas Father.
Jaina is so beautiful
How did Jaina end up with an accent completely different from her parents and everyone in Kul Tiras?
She spent years in Dalaran, and accents change if you spend time around other accents. If you click on Jaina a bunch she says "I never realized I lost my accent."
I suppose, seems like a pretty big change though. She even has same accent in nightmare where she is little child lol

That means the Lord Admiral had no legal authority to invade, or to conscript the people of Theramore to prosecute his war against Thrall's Horde. The only thing Jaina did wrong in that situation was failing to defend her people from her father.

So Kul Tiras basically invades Theramore :D Attack unprovoked and then cry that enemy retaliated :D
Yeah man they invaded their own city
