I loved the Suns of the 2000s. Nash was a tough man to defend because he can shoot outside and penetrate to either pass or make a mid-range shot. They had Marion and Stoudemire for the rebounds and interior defense, not to mention that they were also scoring threats. Barbosa was an excellent 6th man. They had a lot of potential but somehow they always ran short in the playoffs.
Nash is 2-1 against Kobe more like run into the Spurs they just can't pass the Spurs except that 2010 palyoffs they could have a chance in 2007 against the Spurs but that incident happen between Robert Horry and Nash they could have won a chip if they won that series back then

He had a weird ofensive game but he did average 20 a game. He ain't no Ben Simmons. Shawn could score man. That's why i cannot stand when people said Dirk it all by himself in 2011. Shawn was a baller. Dirk was the only one still in his very prime, but they had several stars. Just not fully in their prime anymore Shawn was one of them.
The suns were out here already living in 2020 they still should’ve payed Joe Johnson though, had they done that they could’ve got a chip he was perfect for that team dynamic.

Imagine Steve playing at his peak in today's NBA, where shooting three's is half of the offensive plays for all teams. You're basically looking at what Steve would do just by watching Steph Curry. Their games emulate each other because Nash was Steph's favorite player growing up. But if Nash shot as many 3's per game as the average NBA point guards do today, Nash would go down as one of the greatest 3point shooters in history.. Steph Curry, known as the greatest three point shooter of all time has an other-worldly CAREER 3pt percentage of 43%... guess what Steve Nash's CAREER 3pt percentage was...43%!!! The only difference obviously is that Steph Curry shoots many more threes per game than Steve ever did. But in today's game, Steve Nash would literally emulate what Steph Curry is doing now, if he had shot the amount of 3's Steph does... Plus just like Steph Curry, Steve Nash is a wizard handling and passing the ball, and getting his teammates involved... he's an even a better passer than Steph Curry is... Steve Nash would be considered an even greater point guard than he is already known for..
They ultimately having different playstyle. Steph isn't necessarily a worse passer either. He still averages 5-6 assists per game making correct passes when he gets doubled. But for sure no one would doubt Nash' MVP season had he shoots more threes. I think his ppg would be bumped up to 20-22 ppg and he might won a championship or two
Great game especially for those old enough to remember the Kidd-Carter-Jefferson Nets and the 7 seconds or less Suns. This game really brought back some memories for me! Plus just like Steph Curry, Steve Nash is a wizard handling and passing the ball, and getting his teammates involved... he's an even a better passer than Steph Curry is...
