- The video shows the each country's stance on the ongoing issue of Russia's invasion into Ukraine on February 24, 2022. On 21 February 2022, Russia officially recognized the two breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine, the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic, as independent states, and deployed troops to Donbas, in a move interpreted as Russia's effective withdrawal from the Minsk Protocol. On the morning of 24 February, Putin announced that Russia was initiating a "special military operation" in the Donbas, and launched a full-scale invasion into Ukraine.
The exact times of each nation's stance on the issue are only estimates and should only be taken with a grain of salt.

There is a very good reason that Serbia chose the neutral stance. Of course 99% of Serbs condemn the invasion, but being actively pro NATO and Ukraine would kind of go against Serbia in 2 ways. First of all, Serbia was bombed intensively by NATO in 1999. Secondly, Russia is and has always been an important ally and the only powerful ally Serbia has.

@@jaymarx That is true, but Russia is a historical ally and not purely poltical. For example In WW1 they declared war on Austria-Hungary when Serbia was attacked and the Soviets liberated Yugoslavia during WW2. They also supported Serbia during the Kosovo war.
Bangladesh is neutral in this because of our liberation war in 1971.
Where USSR and India helped us to gain our independence from Pakistan. Whole west were against us.
But India and USSR supported us.
And also Russia is in charge of our ongoing project, first ever nuclear powered electric plant.
As well as our military equipments are mostly bought from Russia.
We've great empathy for Ukrainians.
I hope the war ends soon.

Did you notice that most Russian allies stood as neutral though blocking or criticizing sanctions? The most surprising is Myanmar which gave an open support to Russia just to anger the West, not that they can send in troops to back Russia. Iran, Pakistan, India, China, Mongolia are all strategic allies of Russia.
What's concerning is if all those neutral nations align, they will outnumber the west both in terms of population, military hardware, and nuclear weapons. So if Ukraine falls and Russia establishes itself closer with its allies, for future military conflicts, it could honestly jump to WW3 fast.

India has rightly chosen the neutral stance. Many Indians condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine, including myself. But-
1. Ukraine has always voted in favour of resolutions against India.
2. Russia has been a major partner for India for long, they have earlier even used their veto in UNSC for us and helped us militarily in 1971.
3. At the same time, India’s relations with West and especially US are better than ever currently.
So, a nonpartisan and neutral approach was expected from India and they did the right thing.
Also, adding to this, even with the neutral stance India is providing Ukraine with humanitarian and medical relief. While also trying to evacuate not only Indian citizens but citizens from India's neighbouring countries and other poor countries who are not able to evacuate their citizens
Well, I don't understand how NATO/ONU has been putting pressure on most of the BRICS, so far I haven't seen the pressure on you, that's why, in taking a stance against Russia, here in Brazil, they are almost every day demanding a repositioning. Even more here that Russia wants to affirm an agreement/partnership with Venezuela, where the dictator of that country has been punishing the population.
Despite the boundary issue, hope China and India could work together for the future of 3rd world.

With Africans from Tunis and Morocco, waged war as far north as Iceland and Poland. Neither side are perfect, but at least today they're allies. Turkish planes help the defence, while Putin carpet bomb and napalm innocent Ukranian children. 🇺🇦 Look at the videos from Ukraine and judge for yourself what is good or evil.

Funny as an Indonesian Citizen I find the Indonesian position in this video is inaccurate. We suppose to be neutral since we have a non-bloc policy. You should read the news more even our foreign affairs ministry ignoring request from Ukraine Embassy to take a part giving sanction to Russia and it's a strong message that there are no advantages at all for us take a part in their conflict to Indonesia interest. However, if you would refer to our society's opinion then it's split than some of may pro Ukraine and some of us may pro Russia. Oh well, we do hope they stop their war already since it's affecting the global economy and causing inflation to some commodities.

As Serbian i can say that we respect all help from Russia though history, that we hate NATO because bombing civilian buildings also in 99, but we doesn't have anything against Ukraine, so we are neutral and want peace.

You are currently stuck within the grinding gears called western propaganda. This is a far more complex system than you might think. Your first impression when you hear that would be big sensational news headlines and people with obvious agendas, but it goes deeper than that.
Imagine if I gave you a test and on it you had a few questions with answers A B C D. You think really hard about the answers, you consider all of the data given to you and you make your independent decision to choose D. This is your choice, right? Except, the test was rigged from the start. There aren't only 4 answers, there's also E F G H, but those answers are deleted or hidden from you.
Where I'm going with this, is that almost every medium you are using in a western oriented society to gain knowledge and information is rigged to make you think specific things and believe specific "facts". To demonstrate this, go on Google and look up "Yemen bombing". You will notice that many of the results are several at the very least a month old. However, if you download The Onion Router (used to access the dark web, and partially escape the propaganda) and look up the same thing, you will see that a Saudi led coalition supported by the USA is bombing Yemen *as we speak* - not one month ago, but right now. The propaganda is that Google and many western platforms do not want you to see this right now. The same goes for the Somalia conflict. Look up on Google and The Onion Router "Somalia conflict news". USA is waging war in Somalia right now, yet the results on google of it will be pushed down the search results.
Why am I telling you all this? What has that got to do with anything?
The thing is, many things that you believe to be true about this Ukrainian conflict are either false or taken out of context.
Even if you don't believe Russia's accusation of genocide in Eastern Ukraine, there's still the undeniable fact Ukraine *blocked the main water supply to Crimea* and caused a massive humanitarian crysis, which they refused to allow anyone to fix, all the while the UN and the international community twiddled their thumbs.
It is also a fact Ukraine had an Azov Battalion which committed hundreds of killings in eastern Ukraine upon innocent Russian non combatants. This battalion was allowed to do as they willed for a long time, and then they were merely disbanded and many of them weren't brought to justice. At first, in Thursday our government said that although they condemned Russia's actions, they would not follow the sanctions. Many politicians, but most of all the vast majority of us, people were quite shock by this. We have many Russians ultra wealthy persons who have their wealth in our bank, staying neutral would have been indirectly standing for Russia. The pressure to do a choice considering this dilemma was to big, yesterday government agreed to follow the sanctions and it is globally well received. People who don't know Serbia's history may not understand why we're being neutral. We've experienced a similar level of aggression by NATO in 1999; bombings of embassies, schools, churches, bridges and around 2.000 civilians killed as result of NATO's war crimes. Frustration and anger at NATO has obviously never gone away, and it hasn't helped that not one single NATO general was ever tried for war crimes. On the other hand, Russia is our historic ally, they've helped us gain independence from the Ottomans in 1878, fought World War I for us, and are still the only way for us to regain our territorial integrity. The west has been trying to take Kosovo from us for decades (ironically what they condemn Russia for in Crimea), and Russia's help there is unquantifiable.

(some of ukrainian propaganda says that those soldiers didn't know that they were deployed to invade) From officials maps it seems that Putin wants to take away lands given to Ukraine by Russia minus ukrainian core lands and polish core lands that are still in ukrainian borders. Do you know anything about it? What did they tell you about Moldavia and moldavian disputed lands? Chinese don't hate Ukraine. In fact, Ukraine has provided China with a lot of military technical assistance over the years. Therefore, ordinary Chinese people have a positive attitude towards Ukraine. But we also fully understand the Russians' insecurities. As a south american I can sort of deconfirm some possitions shown in the video.
Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Peru governments may have not expressed any message of approval of Russia's current actions (although Argentina and Bolivia did), but they either have left wing heads of state with very strong diplomatic ties with Russia or they get sold Russian weapons.
Brazil's neutrality is also very questionable, and Mexico has said they would stay neutral (but who knows, depending on the political outcomes of this conflict in the following weeks, that could change very drastically).

Brazil has always tried to remain neutral in various conflicts and situations, not just now... that's why we have good diplomacy. We cannot get involved in conflicts, as we first have to solve our own country's problems. However, most Brazilians condemn these actions by Russia, we have almost 1 million descendants of Ukrainians, and even cities where the majority are of Ukrainian descent.
Neutrality is a smart choice for our country. but deep down we know that we are not truly neutral, as we do not support this invasion, and we even voted against Russia in the UNSC.

India's neutral stand is justified because Ukraine has always sided with Pakistan against India.
