Another important fact to mention is that Furina makes the application of hydro useful with charged attack DPS like Ganyu and Neuvillete since to take good advantage of the hydro application of Yelan and Xingchiu, you must be pressing the hit button constantly while DPS such as Ganyu, Lyney, Neuvillete, Dehya, etc. are used with charges (although the case of Dehya is because the constant hits of his definitive ability do not count as constant hits, it counts as if you had activated a single attack only once) and therefore Furina's hydro application allows you to make charged DPS more broken. Furina is Bennett Hydro or even better.
Nah. She never revived anything. Even Baizhu already has high usage even before her release. The healers that she elevated are actually an already popular healers.
What I like about Furina is that her kit encourages players to use healers. This is way better than introducing the abyss wolves that bleed you to death lol
@@ihdsweiqbdiqwbsdb furina+jean or even Charlotte is a direct upgrade to the usual zhongli+XQ combo. No i don't have c1 hutao. Yes i started playing this game for hutao. As for Neuvilette, come on now i don't even need to have him to know furina is his best team mate , not like he needs it but what you're saying is disingenuous. You gotta also factor in the fact that furina is doing her damage (good damage at that) when your characters are mid animation.
I've literally had Jean since 1.0, used to take her into every domain as a damage dealer, and she was the first character that replaced Aether on my team. Now she has a favonius battery build with 4 pc VV and the only way she could be a better fit for Furina is if she also had burst crowd control. Charlotte, a similarly great team healer was on the literal same banner as Furina. There are plenty of healers, if people's lazy asses aren't building them then that's on them. It's like saying your Hu Tao isn't doing damage because you didn't build Xingqiu. Like, no shit.
I agree. Healers are really flexible and need low investment to use compared to hypercarries. The dumb thing is people only care about bennett and big damage, and neglect other healers in general.
Tbh I never really built any healers besides Kuki for my Alhaitham team and also Bennett because he's top 5 in my favorite characters list, I built Zhongli instead because shields > heals. Plus I honestly prefer Zhongli over any team healer, ignoring attacks is so much better than being knocked down constantly but regenerating the lost hp shortly after.
I'm a dumbass and haven't built xingqiu because I did not want to kill the oceanid (I'm AR 58 💀) and furina increased my hutao's attack by so fucking much that I'm building him now too.
One thing that i had to learn when playing Furina is you WANT to be low hp all the time, kinda like Hutao. That's because when you start a fight and open with Furina burst + healer burst, you instantly get a ton of fanfare points. If you were full hp when starting the fight, you'll have to wait for you hp to drain first.
That's why I keep everyone's hp at 50% or slightly above And before fight, I use baizhu's skill to instantly heal everyone everyone Then after furina drains hp, i heal again
Im just glad they released a meta-defining character thats not necessarily broken or power creep, just like how they revived kuki when dendro got released. Yes she does not replace yelan/xingqui but her teams can be as good or competitive with their existing teams. Also the fact that she gives value to team wide healers into the meta and the synergy with the marechausse hunter set users with her hp draining skill.
For beginner players, you only ever build 1 DPS for your team so you can just use furina as your healer first as you work your way to get better and build more characters
That's a good point. I'd never say someone shouldn't play Furina: she really does it all. Honestly, I can't think of a better support character to grow with you as you progress your account.
@@MiZeKita c2 zhongli is also game changer in single player coz now you have 2 available shields you can keep the hold E as emergency instead of panic if your only shield break. the only argument is it is not as impactful as other c2s coz your first shield never break anyway with minimal amount of effort dodging instead of face tank everything.
venti c2 is decent but compared to other archon, it sucks, Ei C2 made her dps greater, im good with Zhongli C1, C2 meeh [i dont do coop recently, everyone's retiring :')], Nahida C2 make her greate sub dps and justice for bloom dmg, while furina C2 make her dmg booster higher and faster @@MiZeKita
The comment at 1:55 went insane to me. Considering it was my sole goal in Genshin, since 1.0 to main Noelle and make her viable. Furina allowed me to bring Noelle into the abyss and hit 430K+ hits almost consistently. 😅
This is actually my reason why I refused to get Raiden C2. The only character I've ever C2'd or gone beyond C0 is Kazuha. MiHoyo really sure knows how to dig their claws into some vulnerable ass people.
Im going to pull for furina everytime she has a rerun, she deserves it after the archon quest and her story quest eventually getting her c6 before maybe 2030
Nah, if you truly commit you can C6 a character in a year, 2 tops. Spending on welkin + bp helps as well. There's already a guy in Star Rail that got C6 Jingliu and saved up since release, so in genshin it'll be more or less the same thing.
Im fortunate enough to have Jean fully built with balanced sub dps stats as she used to carry me for a while. I benched her a long time ago but when Furina came out, Jean is out slapping mobs again. I couldnt be more happier that Jean's back on action again and actually being very good.
New player here! Started the game when Wriothesley was on the banner. When I pulled for him because he looked cool, I got Jean instead. I got Furina at the very end of Inazuma and without too much investment, she was dealing more damage than Xiangling who is my dps and has Jade Spear. She is carrying me through all the content with Jean 😇. She is also my only hydro character with Barbara so she was more than welcome in my team for reactions
Furina let me walk to Inazuma (AR60) from Liyue harbor. Tried doing it with Ayala and got tired of dashing and button mashing to keep afloat. Furina made it easier to get to Inazuma, Watatsumi island specifically. Which should let you explore without having to go through the earlier islands.
Furina to me is such a genius concept. The typical meta gamer wants to do as much damage as possible, so much damage that they can ignore the idea of survivability. You know what they say, they can't hurt you if they're dead. Furina offering you some of the biggest damage buffs ever in exchange for health, and necessitating a healer, is a pretty bold stroke if you ask me. The way Hoyoverse designs all their games, not just Genshin, really displays that it's made of gamers who understand what kind of brain rot goes on in the their typical audience.
with a team wide healers like baizhu, jean, charlotte of barbara and using prototype amber, you literally cannot die, since their healing (with furina healing buff) outheal the HP drain. same thing could be said if using them in other teams, but still, using Furina don't mean that you have to stay at low hp
i was a noelle main during v1 too. i still am. seriously underrated character and she is by far the biggest winner with furina. furina is the 4th slot character i always dreamed of for noelle. bonkers.
I love how much inderect buff Noelle has gotten over the years, back in v1 she is so cope without C6 and even with C6 she can barely compete with c0 5 star then Geo buff, Albedo drop and Zhongli and Gorou and new artifact and Itto weapon and now Furina. Yea Razor get some buff from Dendro but other than that he is cope asf that he barely change from v1
@@zeromailss yeah i feel bad for razor. my friend mained razor and even at c0 with no real supports, no geo resonance, no 5 star weapon, noelle was already a much better character back in v1.0. and the gap keeps increasing.
at C0, it took 18sec to max fanfare stack (without heal), so healer is good drastically increase stack. But in normal condition, once you get max stack you only can ultize the dmg buff few second. at C2, oh boyz it only took 3sec ish and boom max stack without heal. that's my experience on my new account, I grinded for C2 but b4 that also tested around at C0. Her 100% dmg buff is insane for overall team dmg. Hope that helps
Furina is just the perfect character for me. She not only made Jean (my favorite character since 1.0 who was Physical DPS before Furina) viable, but she also let's me build any Hydro team I want! I always struggled to find a Hydro comp I truly enjoyed playing especially since I don't like Xinqiu's aesthetic. Now not only does my HuTao have a partner, but so does my Ayato. I ran Triple Hydro for those Pyro lectors and it felt absolutely incredible. Finally, Jean has a rightful place in my Furina vape team.
@@Sergmanny46 it's not a matter of how long he's on the field, it's a matter of he looks like a lady boy and I don't care for his character. I'm not a meta slave and I do just fine without him being built.
@@infinitybelt I don't see how a character you won't see 99% of the time is affecting how much you enjoy a team. Xingqiu provides more team options so it would be more fun to actually build him instead of complaining over something that you won't see at all anyways. That's like the Furina players that didn't want to use the pipe sword because it looked bad, even though you won't ever see it.
@@infinitybelt I’m just confused on why a character you won’t see suddenly makes the gameplay so much less enjoyable. Unless you play the game for the visuals, not gameplay, how a character looks really shouldn’t affect how much you enjoy the gameplay, especially when you just never see it anyways. I’d get it if he was an on field character but he ain’t.
8:46 there's another free active teleport point inside Fontaine near the Fountain of Lucine. Found it by accident when I was playing coop with a friend who recently came back into Genshin.
I would put Charlotte into the top healer group for Furina. There's a reason why Mihoyo put her on the same banner as Furina. Charloitte's burst group heal is excellent for getting Furina's fanfare stacks up quickly. It works in similar way to Jean's burst heal, and both have an AOE heal-over-time after the initial burst heal. Just be sure to prioritize energy regen for Charlotte because she needs a lot of it. Favonius Codex, ER sands, ATK goblet and Crit circlet is the way to go. She is definitely worth building for Furina teams!
R5 Oathsworn Eye is very good on Charlotte (2.X Event weapon). Atk substat with passive of 48% ER after using skill for 10s. Just be sure to pick up particles as Charlotte.
Pairing her with raiden and one favonious (in eula or raiden hyper teams) singificantly lowers her er needs. It's not that bad double hydro with one favonious either.
I don't really get the aversion of people to building healers. I have most of my healers built even before Furina came. The good thing about these healers is that they are not as farm-intensive in terms of artifacts, and can do what they need to do despite being low investment. Additionally, most healers have other utilities like elemental application, buffing, shielding, etc. Don't just farm for you dps people, give your healers some love.
These same people would rather farm for shielders when alot of shielders don't actually do anything [the only ones that do anything outside of 'shield' is layla due to applying cryo + a tad bit of dmg but has 100% uptime, thoma because of how it works with creating reactions and zhongli who does shielding + petrification + crystalized] It's honestly so dumb people think healer = bad when they are more gaurinteed to keep you alive than a shielder in alot of cases because most shielders can't heal.
Shinobu, Yaoyao, and Bennett are enough for me because of their added utility (I don't have Kokomi and I have Xingqiu, Yelan, Childe, Neuvillette, and Furina for teams that need hydro app; Don't have Baizhu either and I feel that I don't need him bec of YY and Nahida). As for units who prefer not to be interrupted as much as possible, they need shielders more. Healing doesn't prevent stagger and people underestimate protection from being tossed around
I didnt realise there were people who didn't value healers. I always have one on my team, even in overworld. My goal is to have one of each element built. I don't want to have to have a bunch of food cooked or keep teleporting to the statue for health.
Umm... i guess, welcome to genshin community. Healers were always deemed useless by meta players especially before corrosion introduced and zhongli simp still very active.
As a new player who whaled a bit just to gaurantee Furina, I can say her damage has absolutely been necessary to my team. Thanks to all the pulls I did I also have Bennet and Beidou for insane damage I probably shouldn't have this early and even then her summons outdamage their attacks.
Wish me luck for C1 Furina I did 200 pull and only got c0 and Jean copy and now we only have 5 days left and I'm still 20 pull away from soft pity smh. Please miracle!
"how many people actually bothered to build this maid?" ME!!! honestly once you get to a certain level of endgame in genshin you start trying out B/C-tier comps and thats when you truly start having fun with the game lmao
What Noella team do you recommend? Albedo, Noelle, Furina, and I'm not sure who the fourth should be. I'm assuming Noelle goes with Hunter Set for Furina comp yea?
Well my artifact luck is rotten so even tho I farmed for two months I didn't get any good artifacts, but my goal is to build Noelle, Dehya and Aloy to a level competetive with other characters
I use Noelle, Xianyun, Furina and Navia. The comp have insane survivability, huge single target damage, extreme mobility(No Circle impact), big aoe damage if you can group the enemies and very bursty thanks to Navia E and Noelle plunge. Anyway is not as strong as my Hypercarry Neuvillette comp(Kazuha, Zhongli Petra and Furina). But the huge advantage is that it still does huge damage without the need of using Kazuha and Zhongli...two commonly use units. Meaning for example I can use my Tartaglia International alongside my Noelle comp. Something I cannot do with my Neuvillette comp.
Furina was the first character I decided to C2 on release, the only other C2 I have being Itto which took me 3 banners. I was not disappointed. She gets her fanfare almost instantly even without using Jean, and her damage increase was insane. When I saw my talent level 8 Crabeletta casually do 60k damage, I realized I completely underestimated her c2.
@Dainsleif999 Raiden c2 is hypercarry DPS and Furina c2 is best support in game . Because of vaporize reaction i will say Furina c2 bring more value to every player, she can increase damage by 100% and healing by 40% and always followed by 3 strong DPS ... Crab, Seahorse and Octopus.
@@UltraInstinct509can't compare them but I prefer Furina. C2 Raiden nowadays isn't bad but it's not really the strongest option anymore. Basically more teams or previous teams are upgraded while Raiden best team hasn't changed. Which means her c2 kinda lost the value it once had. Furina should be better in the long run since she buff so many teams and she's an off field sub dps
If some people are calling Fontaine characters "beginner unfriendly" because it's a long way from Prologue to Chapter IV (forgetting that one of Fontaine's teleport point immediately unlocks when finishing Prologue), then what are they going to say when we reach Khaenri'ah and Dain (and possibly Skirk) becomes playable?
Those same people dont realize you can go to fontaine as soon as you are allowed to move freely in teyvat which is like.. what? Right after you do stormterror's first appearance in the story?
@@nobody-xh6ii The only character that's truly beginner unfriendly is Furina + any Inazuma characters. Furina is very endgame, as in you won't really notice her benefits until you are well built to bring 2 teams into floor 12 and 36* the abyss (anywhere between AR 55 and 60).
I'm probably the crazy one when I say that I only wanted Charlotte from her banner. And decided to use my guarantee on Cyno while saving up primos. Because Cyno's honestly much more fun to me when it comes to gameplay.
Eh, I skipped her because none of my teams have a healer or could really even accommodate one. I don't like how the last 2 archons aren't universal like the original batch.
IMO Furina is a good pull for newbies. Players don't exactly stay as a newbie for a very long time. I returned to the game with a new account on 3.6 and it only took like a month to get out of the "newbie" phase. TN; before my return the last time I played the game, Zhongli isn't even a playable character yet. Saying a unit is newbie friendly or not is just an excuse to justify why some players don't want to pull for a specific unit. Even new players are bound to collect a lot of units as they go by and there's usually a 4s version of the 5s units. There is ALWAYS an alternative team. And Abyss isn't exactly something you can do as a newbie. You will have to build your characters properly to do the only competitive content in the game. Therefore, there's no point in actually thinking about how newbie friendly a unit is. With that being said, considering how good Furina's kits is and how versatile she is due to the many teams she can be slapped into; she IS definitely a worth it pull for new players. She can be an early investment that will pay off big time later on.
@@XenoWarsiirc, that was around the time I got addicted to Warframe. And I didn't really play Genshin as much as I was playing Honkai Impact so I just uninstalled it.
I always level up my characters so i have no problem changing team as needed. So when furina came i was ready. Playing the same teams again and again is boring AF. Furina is the kind of meta change we needed. A great character that provides new ways to enjoy old ones.
Just by making hunter set available for everyone she instantly become why favorite support because for me balancing the crit ratio took a lot of time and investment now I just focus on crit damage if I happened to have 30 %crit rate then that's good enough
My team comps almost always composed of one crowd controller (Venti/Kazuha) and one healer. that leaves the other 2 slots for an on-field dps and an off-field dps. So I have a lot of fully built healers in my arsenal (i.e. Barbara, Jean, Qiqi, Kokomi, Kuki, Benny, and so on.) I love having them on my team and Furina's arrival made me love them even more.
Thanks to Furina I finally have use for my C6 Qiqi. Also when exploring which is like 98% of the game Furina's healing is good enough that I don't need any other healer or shielder on the team and the ability to walk on water is amazing too.
How many people built the maid you said, proud to be one of them, even got red horn for her, been using her to clear abyss ever since gorou came out, furina truly is the cherry on top now.
What matters for getting Fanfare is having characters that can regain health and lose health. So there are a lot of options for getting Fanfare it just happens that healers are the optimal way since they will heal more than someone who doesn't. Characters and Weapons that can provide healing are all options you should consider. For example characters that aren't healers that should be considered for regaining health are Hydro Traveller, Neuvillet, Kaveh and Dehya. All 4 provide healing in specific scenarios not all are consistent but what matters is you're getting any sort of health. For weapons there's the Protoype Amber mentioned in the video but there's also The Black Sword from the Battlepass (and if you're really desperate or just think a meme team would be funny there's also the 3-star weapons White Iron, Traveler's Sword, Recurve Bow and Otherwordly Story). There's also the HP loss Mechanic of which there are also a few characters to consider. Hydro Traveller, Neuvillete, Xiao, Lyney, Lynette, Hu Tao, Wriothesley and Kuki. The Fontaine craftable weapons with the lifebond mechanic should be considered as well when forming teams around Furina. Remember you can always create a team you like playing with, you don't need to do things like Spiral Abyss if you don't want. Have fun building your 3-star only weapons team if you like.
Wriothesley can also gain health with his charge attack, even though it is only for every 5 sec and only if his health is below 60%. With C1, it is even easier since we can just apply his E and do his combo, then charge. I only got him on C0, but even for me he is consisten enough as main dps, and perma freeze is always nice.
For new player not really good. Her buff is in low side( low rank, new players) and on my experience character that can lower your HP is another thing to look for for inexperienced players. In the end for free to play(new player): don't pull for her. She's more liable than help at early. free to play(Late game player):she is good at exploration, extra damage, and damage buff. She does stand out but future proofing for the new effects( HP flactuation) is great feature for her. Whail: PULL FOR HER FUND THE GAME XD .
the 100k hp thing isn't practical because you only gain 140% of you base hp (around 21k and lv 90), not max hp. basically means that the 100k hp is just them building full hp with probably an r5 key and added with the 21k from her c2
I have a fairly new alt account that pulled both a Jean and Dehya. Furina had a substantial impact to that team. I also have Xingqui on that account as well, so I alternate between him and Collei depending on the situation. AR 45, with very poorly geared characters (pretty much have done no artifact farming, maybe just a few hundred resin, and most artifacts lvl 12 and lower), 9 star on floor 9 of abyss. The side with Furina carries it hard. So Furina is very worth it for a low level account. Just the fact that she is a great off-field DPS and also can function as a healer, and can walk on water. She was a game changer on that account, in most aspects of the game.
My mom pulled Furina after arriving at Inazuma. Even though she can't use her in Battle right now, she's invaluable for water movement and Challenges there.
Actually Dori C6 is a decent healer for Furina because she gains the ability to heal all the party and electro infuse with her elemental skill and her burst is a good energy recharger. Also, I usually build EVERY character, and don't regret it, because I like to experiment new teams and I think that levelling characters and upgrading their talents is much more important than wasting energy in the search of the "perfect" artifact (which, basically, never arrives)...as a matter of fact once a character is levelled he is good forever, unlike the set of artifact, which is likely subject to change with the release of new sets.
I'm so happy I pulled for Baizhu back then because of the rumor that she'll be good with him. I also have many healers built like Kuki, Jean, Barbara, Qiqi and etc. I'm just happy to be able to get Furina and she changes how to play as well. I don't normally bring healer, just shielder but it makes playing more fun a least for me. My Yelan for exploration is kinda semi-retired thanks to Furina 😁
I LOVE Kokomi with Furina. My 2nd fav with her would be Kuki. (You make me want to build my Yaoyao lol.) And Furina now makes me want to get Baizhu - I finally did his sidequest recently so I had the opportunity to test him in a comp with Furina and OMG it's like their kits were made for each other. Imo. I barely managed to pull Furina and I want a copy of Kirara on my main (upcoming Ayato banner) so I'll be skipping Baizhu AGAIN but next time.... Thanks for the comprehensive take. :)
I've been playing the game since Albedo's first banner, and for a long time I had only 2 hydro characters: Barb and Xinqui (I wasn't playing actively). In the past couple of months, I got Kokomi, Mona (who I was chasing a long time) and Candace. When I got Furina, she kept surprising me over and over: she surprised me by the fact I got her at 4 pity, her damage and how well she plays with most of the built up characters I have. I was trying to save for Nahida, but I won't be sorry if I didn't get her because of Furina ^_^
I'm still of the mind for newbies, if they have furina, they can just use her as a healer when needed. Does it take away damage? Sure Will fights take a bit longer? Fair. But unlike Abyss, pretty much 98% of other content isn't a dmg race. So that war of atrition isn't as big of a deal. Survivability is the name of the game
Being honest and truthful is what makes you the absolute best all around genshin youtuber to follow. No bs, memes, or lies just real and honest info and thoughts.
I feel so happy with furina. Mostly because it now makes me the winner for building baizhu beforehand. Now my neuvillette team is truly godzilla level laser shooting
Yeah, i'm one of the few people who pulled for Baizhu on his first banner so i mainly use him with Furina, i want to use Jean also but i've never gotten any good vv artifacts and if she's not shredding defense then they're not much of a reason to use her over Baizhu. and after using them all on Furina, i don't have any resources left to build Charlotte, who i would like to build eventually.
Also pulled for Baizhu on his initial run. My favourite team is him + archons 😆 I slapped prototype amber on him and he is my on-field driver, with Nahida, Furina and Raiden as my off field dealers of enormous damage 🥰 This team is super fun and kills everything in sight. Am looking forward to running mono hydro + Jean in the future 🤔 See what they offer
@@hazardsigns Yeah, i'd like to try mono hydro too, because i've always been a fan of hydro. i like to use Sacrificial Fragments on Baizhu, because he really can't fully heal my hp scaling characters without 2 skills.
before i would get the argument of getting the resources needed, but since que have the quick unlock for weekly bosses i don't really see an issue. I feel like most ppl that still use that argument are the ones that got an inazuman character early on and could raise them, since inazuma is the only region you NEED to progress in the archon quest in order to unlock it (not counting ice bridging or glitches here)
For me, the niche was perfect. I was already running a pokemon bloom burgeon team with sucrose, Yao Yao, Xiangling, and Mona. Getting furina was the obvious choice as a replacement for Mona since furina has several “pokemon”. To be honest, losing Mona’s sprint, crowd control, and easier dmg boost was kind of a bummer. Now that I’ve built furina decently, it doesn’t even really matter. Furina’s skill alone is strong enough to outshine any dmg boost Mona could provide. I created the Pokémon team for the memes, but I ended up liking the team the most. With sucrose, Yao Yao, and Xiangling all at c6, the team is very powerful. Furina also solved the problem of my Yao Yao healing too strongly, and that is with an EM sands. The biggest switch, however, was having to actually pay attention to my health. I’ve been playing for three years, so I’m in that category that has several characters decently built (F2P). Elsewise, furina is quite niche and maybe not the best for beginners. Or maybe she’s absolutely great for beginners. I dunno. She’s perfect for my Pokémon team
I actually have an AR35 account that I started last month (one of several alts) and managed to get Furina. Currently I don't have a healer built on the account (There is Barbara but I've not built her). Even at level 70 with a 3* weapon (the ER% one) she makes a massive difference. Due to her HP scaling she is easy to build at low AR before you actually start farming artifacts. Just HP and ER is enough. To make up for the lack of healing I just use her healing stance for the second rotation. It isn't optimal but considering she has almost three times as much HP as the others in the team her healing is enough. For others that are low AR and pulled her you can just build Noelle or Barbara (or Charlotte if you got her on Furina's banner). Even at low talent level, if you can get a good amount of Fanfare she is still providing a Kazuha sized buff to the whole team.
Furina's summons still hit around 10k DMG each with decent build so she's still useful without a healer. You can partner her with Lynette, her skill heals 25% HP and decreases by 6%(?) every tick. Put Sac Sword on her and you already have decent fanfare stacker that benefits from having their HP halved and has off-field support and an Anemo as well that decreases enemies resistance to the element her burst absorbs. If you have Barbara built decently, she's also more than enough to max out those stacks while keeping her 3 summons in field.
In exploration, you don't need another healer at least in my experience. For exploration I have; Furina - water walking + healer Dehya - mining + pyro for certain puzzles and ores + interrupt resistance + tenacity carry + WGS carry for added atk% on my crit focus Wanderer(have it at r2 so 50% boost) Yelan - land travel + bow for certain puzzles + sub dps Wanderer - land & air travel + climbing help + main dps I usually don't need the dmg from Furina E so she just becomes a mobile statue of the seven, keeping my team topped up.(I'm obsessed with getting everyone to 100% always, adhd kicks in) She's only level 80 with talent lvl 6 on her E and about 38k hp which rises to 41k or so with hydro resonance.
"have to"?¿! I love that now I have an actual justification to build up characters I like that otherwise would've felt bad rising because they were too niche or not good enough to justify, specially as a dolphin, or even moreso if you're f2p. Edit: In my case, thanks to furina I've started working on Noelle, Sayu, and will try to improve my Barbara, all of which I love but just didn't have a place in any team before Furi.
Wow thanks for the update. I'll smash my friend with your video and recommend your channel since they have a lot of questions about Furina... Good job bro 💯
Before Sumeru I use to heavily rely on freeze teams. And Qiqi is my main in both healing and cryo. So I heavily rely on her already. But after Sumeru, I heavily rely on Burgeon. And with Cryo not being compatible, the best I can do is have Freeze be a sub reaction in my rotation. Then Fontaine comes in. And although, my biggest damage dealer is still my Burgeon team. Furina got me the perfect excuse to revive my original favorite reaction. And I'm thankful for that.
also Open World Fun Factor is a part of the equation for those whose world goes beyond the Spiral Abyss. For instance, for me, ability to take a casual stroll on a lake surface, plucking fish here and there is a plus.
The C2 aspect is absolutely true. Furina is more than valuable at C0, but she's just insane at C2. And C6, unless you really have a lot of money and love her a lot, is a waste of money. Because she kills everything like instantly, and its so far removed from anything you'd actually need in any challenging content i guess outside of events bonus challenges.
I got C6 for exactly that reason (I care about her a lot) and it's just crazy. It actually breaks her kit, like the amount of healing I get from Ousia Normal Attacks is too much to where I can't bring a burst healer for instant fanfare stacking. And she's greedy with field time, so I can't spend as long on another dps in a rotation. But it's fun and I love using her, so it's a win in the end 💙
@@LibraritheWizardOfficial Of course she's greedy at c6, because she's supposed to be a main dps with that hydro infusion + all the text that's in the constellation.
I'm not sure what Furina mains aren't telling you, but this Furina main is gonna tell you one thing. Her A4 passive caps out at 40,000 HP, so while 100k is cool to look at, you're getting pretty significant diminishing returns, so consider building other stats after that break point.
@@mischarowe I don't think that it's hidden knowledge or anything but he did say something about 100k so I figured I'd mention it in case anyone took it as a good idea 😁. Honestly I don't think there's any secrets, she's just a wonderful, powerful character that encourages you to build some units you might not have initially thought were worth it.
@@Potte People do have weird views of characters and their potential so you'd be surprised. There are players who hyperfocus on it and don't seem to realise or acknowledge how much of a waste it is. I was just saying too. :)
For new players, Barbara is a decent healer if you build her HP and use her on field. You can even use Furina with Harbinger of Dawn sword if you can use Barbara to constant heal. Just remember to stack enough energy recharge for all characters.
I'd argue Barbara is on par with Jean when using her with Furina. Barbara also has instant team wide healing burst like Jean. The only reason Jean is slightly better is because she can VV shred. HoD on Furina sounds extremely copium considering she has to stay above 90% at all times to make it viable, and if you use Barbara to keep her up then the main dps is just... sitting off field doing nothing. Only way it could work is if you completely ditch the dps and bring another off field dps instead, like fischl/yae/xiangling/yelan, etc.
This banner was somewhat a killjoy for me. I entered with 5 pity but guaranteed. Saved enough for soft pity but she dropped late pity (past soft pity) I was really hoping she'd drop earlier so I could use whatever remaining for either her cons or signature weapon. If I managed to have gotten lucky with her C1 I wouldn't have mind paying to get her to C2. Alas, fate didn't give me a good run. Only have her at C0 now.
@@grimnotes7885 I saved for moths, its the first archon launch since I started playing. I was planning to maybe go for C1, but I got mad after using 150 wishes to get C0 and just keep wishing thinking "if I get C1 early that wasnt so bad". Sadly this probably mean that now I cant get Nahida c2(my favourite character). I learned my lesson.
@@maxppo3615 I have only won two character on 5050 so always have for guarantee for the char u want and if u win 5050 see it as a bonus and save up of gems. Game can be brutal
When people talking about Furina ER problem, they always say you need C4 to fix it, in reality, you need only C2 To fix it, because within 3-5 second after using her burst, if you have a wide range healer, you can literally gain max stack within that time, which basically mean, you're not forced to having to use her burst every cool down to keep the stack. it only took you 3-5 second to gain max of that , meaning you have 10+ seconds to do the maximum damage, if you have enough ER, it will save you 3-5 second per burst. Meaning even with C2 you can still reach higher ceiling if you choose to min max, but if you're not min maxing, it's still already enough
For more info on c2 furina, I wasnt gonna plan to get c2, but that whole archon quest convinced me, regardless, a c2 furina will work well with the 3 fontaine 5 stars without a heal, maybe a little slow on wrio, but neuvillete was ez pz, not so sure on liney but I think he does the same except that neuvillete can do the drain/heal 3 times in an instant with a burst rotation, also furina gains massive damage from that hp bonus, I am doing critbuild and er sands, and I still see damage hitting 60-80, and vaping around 100+ while offfield, without neuvillete team, yao yao and sayu were my healers, and damn their good, yao yao is faster but you need to stay on her for a bit, sayu can swirl multiple times.
I now have a reason to use my well built jean as her burst makes a huge heal surge and continuous heal for EVERYONE for a good amount of time. For me Bai and Jen are the best. Problem with kokomi, I had to have burst and do normal attacks to heal everyone which is somewhat problematic for my rotations.
1:10 I actually heard TC people talking about Dori being a good healer for Furina at C6 but not a lot actualy have a C6 Dori even among old players so it is hard to test in practice
I won't recommend challenging the Narwal weekly boss before completing the archon quest cause the first time you see that guy during the quest the chill that it gives is worth it.
I think the least beginner friendly characters are from Inazuma since you can't go there unless you complete the previous archon quest. Trying to not give any leaks but many upcoming banners have Inazuma characters please don't pull for them if you haven't unlocked the Inazuma
It doesn't really matter. If you do the character trials, you can ge them to lvl 40. And regular use of artifacts will carry their stats until you unlock the region. As someone whose 1st roll was Thoma (off the banner so he was locked at lvl 20 for ages), I promise you they're more useable than you'd think.
Thanks for informative video as always. Note that I use hers with Qiqi (cuz she’s my main healer) and I’m already happy as it is. Qiqi attack talisman enemy heal so fast that I still have time to switch to other dps after max fanfare. 😊 New players got so many good QoL nowadays (unlike us, urgh!!), so I don’t understand why someone still say something like new characters’ upgrade materials are hard to gather. It’s like, you see that teleporter unlocked for you, right? Hmm? Don’t ask why it’s there!! Just use it!! 😂
I'm building Noelle now, it's kinda fun using her with Furina and Marassucette Hunter Artifacts (I don't know how to spell it). She's hitting 22k per hit.
I want to add for "Furina for new player" She is still good, but not for buffing part Leave her with the healer summon, you could practically bringing healing tower that have 100% uptime Because as newbie player, what you want is not damage, whan you want is survive long enough to study and learn about the game So increased damage with HP burn is one of the least that you want (Just like what happened to your run with low account, what you want is more survivability than damage) So yeah, I actually think Furina bring good news for newbie player, and veteran player at the same time But just at the different gameplay ... ... Im Noelle main since v1.0 until now That was my main objective using her + barbara Survive as long as i can so i can study the mechanic on my own Now, Furina is really interesting because, not only she 'revives' Noelle comp But also she open up a new party comp for her Usually we got 3 geo + 1 elements / 4 geo for her is the only way to play this leads to problem with 4th characters energy problem, and low ST dps Now we got Noelle (favo) + 3 hydro, but with same or even better outputs Every one have their energy, heals, and big ST dps
I mean Ive literally used my noelle out of spite of being bored for one time in the past, so I manage give her all the best builds and well what do you know.... all of the investment into a character like Noelle still paid off with the introduction of Furina. If that's not game changing or amazing then idk what is.
With furina, the HP bar is not your "stay alive" bar. it's your damage boost charger. and only players that are far into the game have stopped worrying about decreasing HP in this game. Also, when I tried using a low level C0 nahida, I saw right away how broken she is (clearly changed the meta) so now she's my go-to for strong teams, but with furina, it's the opposite. I didn't see the brokenness right away on low-level casual usage also you just see it usually at the end of her burst. As a metaphor, Nahida is like a light and quick sports car and Furina is like a heavy but fast top speed car. So my C0 Furina stay benched until she and her healers together are decently built enough.
"But seriously, how many people actually bothered to build this maid?" Me! As soon as she's C6 (which also happens to be when I got Gorou), I built her to Lvl 90 8/8/8 with the Gilded Dreams artifact, then mained her for a while in a Mono Geo team (+ Raiden because Itto wasn't released yet and I didn't have Zhongli). Trust me when I say that she sustains the team well in the Gilded Dreams artifact domain as well as the domain with falling icicles.

Why hoyoverse have only honkai in it is honkai just hoyov ? All other games have name

Also, the fact that Furina revived healers is pure justice and it couldn't be more fitting

Also Kokomi can now become DPS Because of Lady Furina

The only thing that's keeping me is that I'll lose on CC. She might be good against bosses but I'd rather not use her with crowds
Me too. I have Jean as VV Damage Dealer. God only knows what she had done to my genshin career. She is so good
Tbh I never really built any healers besides Kuki for my Alhaitham team and also Bennett because he's top 5 in my favorite characters list, I built Zhongli instead because shields > heals.
Plus I honestly prefer Zhongli over any team healer, ignoring attacks is so much better than being knocked down constantly but regenerating the lost hp shortly after.

That's why I keep everyone's hp at 50% or slightly above
And before fight, I use baizhu's skill to instantly heal everyone everyone
Then after furina drains hp, i heal again
I think overheal can count fanfare so it doesn't matter if you have half hp or full hp
@@hitsunataraki2587 no
Fanfares are obtained by how much of your character hp changes.
Overhealing doesn't change your hp, which means no fanfare gain
Oh that's kind of smart. Always max out my hp cause just needing to max out hp is my instinct lol. Thx for tips.
It doesn't matter much with C2, though. You start out with a nice chunk, and the bonus fanfare means you max out pretty quickly regardless.
They are also crazy good all together, in a pseudo mono hydro team 👍🏻 Whack your favourite healer in the 4th slot and you are good to go
Yup. Kuki was the first 3* mihoyo released. Then dendro came out and she became s tier.

Yay!!
Furina let me walk to Inazuma (AR60) from Liyue harbor. Tried doing it with Ayala and got tired of dashing and button mashing to keep afloat.

Yes, this was my massive block from a functional freeze team, with Ganyu being one of my mains. I love using her with Furina, it's amazing

Furina is just the perfect character for me. She not only made Jean (my favorite character since 1.0 who was Physical DPS before Furina) viable, but she also let's me build any Hydro team I want!
You need very high uptime er on charlotte otherwise you'll find yourself dying a ton

Yeah its kinda hilarious that people pretend they dont play healers. The average player of this game isnt that good at dodging.
These same people would rather farm for shielders when alot of shielders don't actually do anything [the only ones that do anything outside of 'shield' is layla due to applying cryo + a tad bit of dmg but has 100% uptime, thoma because of how it works with creating reactions and zhongli who does shielding + petrification + crystalized]
It's honestly so dumb people think healer = bad when they are more gaurinteed to keep you alive than a shielder in alot of cases because most shielders can't heal.
@@nobody-xh6iishield prevents interruption. That's the one thing that makes them feel better than pure healers.

Healers were always deemed useless by meta players especially before corrosion introduced and zhongli simp still very active.

yup
What sentence entered my ear just now "how many people actually bothered to build this maid" poor Noelle
Furina was the first character I decided to C2 on release, the only other C2 I have being Itto which took me 3 banners. I was not disappointed. She gets her fanfare almost instantly even without using Jean, and her damage increase was insane. 1 water gun from crabchad did 60k dmg for c2? Thats insane😂
With Anemo unit and Viridescent Venerer plus Pyro Crab Cannon will hit 200k . That's the reason why Sunfire Furina is so good.

Furina should be better in the long run since she buff so many teams and she's an off field sub dps
As a Qiqi main. I'm just happy to see the little zombie child get some attention.
@@nobody-xh6ii yea every nation is free to wander except inazuma since it’s locked behind quests
What made you quit immediately after release? Zhongli was 1.1
@@XenoWarsiirc, that was around the time I got addicted to Warframe.
36% from MH set + 36.1% from character and cr circlet. Yup, a solid 72% CR for any carry is huge stonks. Just focus on crit dmg rolls and you're set.
my noelle dusted since 2.0 up and now finally use her again with furina, she's been help me through lower AR and now she got to shine again for me
My team comps almost always composed of one crowd controller (Venti/Kazuha) and one healer. that leaves the other 2 slots for an on-field dps and an off-field dps.
Funnily I think it's actually faster to dash under water than on foot, so the walking on water only becomes useful outside of Fontaine
@@nofabe true but especially on Inazuma that walk on water is super useful
For those 5 Dori players out there, she’s actually a very strong carry/driver at c6 with furina
How many people built the maid you said, proud to be one of them, even got red horn for her, been using her to clear abyss ever since gorou came out, furina truly is the cherry on top now.
red horn ?

You forgot Lyney and Wriothesley. They both lose HP and can heal themselves back to full, easily stacking fanfare.
I think everyone did forgot that furina can be a healer her self at the early game
Put mayo hunter set on yan fi and the cook lady. Those two with kuki and furry are game changing
2pc Mayo and 2pc noblesse or golden troupe
i could sit here and just listen to this dude talk for hours idk y but his voice is soothing
Furina is one of the best characters. She deals a massive damage with her summon
Furina made me realize that barbara is still literally the only healer I have built.
And that's all you need. Barbara has a team wide instant burst heal, more than enough to get 200 fanfare stacks with one button press.
@Sergmanny46 oh it is enough? Thanks, videos I've seen made it seem like she wouldnt be good enough.
Why cant she use her? As shown, Furina can be leveled at any time post-tutorial
@@XenoWars
She's lacking a decent Healer ^^ Sayu is her best option atm.
Indeed. Once I find an HP% sands with crit rate I'm done building Furina and will move on to farm talent books for the rest of characters.
Sure
Will fights take a bit longer? Fair.
But unlike Abyss, pretty much 98% of other content isn't a dmg race. So that war of atrition isn't as big of a deal. Survivability is the name of the game
Being honest and truthful is what makes you the absolute best all around genshin youtuber to follow.
No bs, memes, or lies just real and honest info and thoughts.
for newbie furina can be your healer until you have good healer
So it was not actually Kokover. Thank goodness.
New players have Barbara and she's very decent healer for Furina since she provides team-wide healing.
*Barbruh heals*
*instantly gains 75% damage bonus*
I have been playiing since 1.0 so I have literally every healer built. I was a jean main until Kazuha came out. Its her time to shine now.
In exploration, you don't need another healer at least in my experience.
For exploration I have;
Furina - water walking + healer
Dehya - mining + pyro for certain puzzles and ores + interrupt resistance + tenacity carry + WGS carry for added atk% on my crit focus Wanderer(have it at r2 so 50% boost)
Yelan - land travel + bow for certain puzzles + sub dps
Wanderer - land & air travel + climbing help + main dps
I usually don't need the dmg from Furina E so she just becomes a mobile statue of the seven, keeping my team topped up.(I'm obsessed with getting everyone to 100% always, adhd kicks in)
She's only level 80 with talent lvl 6 on her E and about 38k hp which rises to 41k or so with hydro resonance.
Jean goes hard on a furina Tao team
I'm so happy Jean and Noelle are viable! I remember them being my favorite characters at the beginning of the game along with Lisa and Amber of course
They're not telling us Furina's secret strategy on how to survive Black Friday
For instance, for me, ability to take a casual stroll on a lake surface, plucking fish here and there is a plus.
those floating mora in boxes are good to have too
The C2 aspect is absolutely true.
@@Sergmanny46 ikr, it's a whole essay under that constellation 🤣💙
I'm not sure what Furina mains aren't telling you, but this Furina main is gonna tell you one thing. Her A4 passive caps out at 40,000 HP, so while 100k is cool to look at, you're getting pretty significant diminishing returns, so consider building other stats after that break point.
I don't main her (am using her a bit more right now because "bright and shiny new character") and even I know that lol. :)
@@Sergmanny46 yes, off field dps like Furina/fischl/yae/xiangling/yelan/xingqiu/beidou/albedo will be main dps.
Same, I burned 300 wishes to get C1, almost ruined the patch for me.

New players got so many good QoL nowadays (unlike us, urgh!!), so I don’t understand why someone still say something like new characters’ upgrade materials are hard to gather. It’s like, you see that teleporter unlocked for you, right? Hmm? Don’t ask why it’s there!! Just use it!! 😂
The only problem I've encountered is that I got Keqing C1 instead of Furina C2. Aside from that everything is within the expected. 👍
Rerun in 4.6. Stay committed and she will arrive.
I'm building Noelle now, it's kinda fun using her with Furina and Marassucette Hunter Artifacts (I don't know how to spell it). She's hitting 22k per hit.

If anything this makes we want to go for C2 Furina. Got her C1 and planned to stop there for now but idk… C2 is very tempting
Well decide already because the banner ends in 2 days. Otherwise you'll have to wait allll the way until 4.6.

I want to add for "Furina for new player"
She is still good, but not for buffing part
Leave her with the healer summon, you could practically bringing healing tower that have 100% uptime
Because as newbie player, what you want is not damage, whan you want is survive long enough to study and learn about the game
So increased damage with HP burn is one of the least that you want
(Just like what happened to your run with low account, what you want is more survivability than damage)
So yeah, I actually think Furina bring good news for newbie player, and veteran player at the same time
But just at the different gameplay
...
...
Im Noelle main since v1.0 until now
That was my main objective using her + barbara
Survive as long as i can so i can study the mechanic on my own
Now, Furina is really interesting because, not only she 'revives' Noelle comp
But also she open up a new party comp for her
Usually we got 3 geo + 1 elements / 4 geo for her is the only way to play this leads to problem with 4th characters energy problem, and low ST dps
Now we got Noelle (favo) + 3 hydro, but with same or even better outputs
Every one have their energy, heals, and big ST dps
I mean Ive literally used my noelle out of spite of being bored for one time in the past, so I manage give her all the best builds and well what do you know.... all of the investment into a character like Noelle still paid off with the introduction of Furina. If that's not game changing or amazing then idk what is.
2:00 "How many people have bothered to build this maid?"
I did.
2:08 bro casually erased 30 seconds and changed his team in one burst
"But seriously, how many people actually bothered to build this maid?" Me! As soon as she's C6 (which also happens to be when I got Gorou), I built her to Lvl 90 8/8/8 with the Gilded Dreams artifact, then mained her for a while in a Mono Geo team (+ Raiden because Itto wasn't released yet and I didn't have Zhongli). Trust me when I say that she sustains the team well in the Gilded Dreams artifact domain as well as the domain with falling icicles.
