African American Youth Achievement Awards: This longstanding celebration honored 33 District 65 students and eight District 202 students who are keeping the visions and legacy of African American pathfinders and pioneers alive on a daily basis. 3. Lunar New Year: Dewey Elementary held its first Lunar New Year celebration with two student assemblies and a family event.

5. New school websites: We recently launched brand-new school websites for each of our buildings, along with an updated version of our District 65 website!
