Imagine if she was running away from her dad! He would have been arrested and mainstream media would have eaten him alive, his story would be everywhere, in the main time portraying the mom as a hero
Yup. Her dad would've been a registered sex offender too. But what's to stop her from running away again and wasting taxpayer money on a witch hunt? She doesn't realize that she just caused the city to waste 500k if not more in this witch hunt. Not to mention all the resources and time the volunteers wasted on her as well. All the wasted resources could've gone to people who actually were in need of being found like all those kids on the milk cartons who never got any media attention because they are a minority. I bet not even a fraction of the amount of resources that were used finding this Chao girl was ever spent on one of those kids who belong to the minority group on the milk cartons.
But yet the dad heard Alison say all of this and still said leave with your mom and didn't say we have a police report filed and we are terrified to send her to her mom. He also didn't say this is the first I've heard of an abuse claim and I'd like to help her report this properly right here while the police are here and while Annie herself is right here waiting. We don't know the history of this family and barely have known of them since last Wednesday. Annie Chao is a real human who lives in California. What evidence do you have that she abused anyone? When did a judge or jury decide? We need to practice patience and let this run its course in court.
it's crazy to me that there's a custody battle at all...when I was 9 years old in 1990 my parents divorced. my brother was 7. My mom had custody of us but my dad was able to have us every other weekend and my brother and I got to decide, on our own, if we went to my dad's or not. it was never forced or court ordered. As a 15 year old she should be able to decide who she wants to live with.
Precisely. I was threatened with institutionalization by my mother when I was 12, and again at 16. It was designed to keep me in line, but I managed to get the help I really needed at the time. The mom whining about her kid, and oh she goes to Bible school and her croc tears is all horseshit. I hope people listen to that girl.
Crocodile tears from that mother!!! The entire time she made everyone think her daughter was abducted and trafficked when all along she knew the teen ran away because she didn't want live with the mom whom she says hurts and abuses her!
It looks like from what information has been released the young girl has a tumultuous relationship with her mother and ran away to be with her father, and I agree her father seems like a healthy stable environment for her the mom is the one who needs mental help not the girl
I've been following the story since I ran into the family over the weekend and saw the posters. How did the mom become the bad guy in this story, I'm so confused.
Well you see allegedly the mom was trying to force the daughter to seek mental help and go to a clinic but the girl who seems like an average 15 year old refused and everything spiraled out of control from there she presumably fled to her father's home where she seeked refuge and a more stable environment but all of this is still speculative and under investigation🤔 personally im just glad she was found safe and sound
One of the hardest experiences for a young teenager is going through their parents' divorce. I am happy she is safe. Alison, you will be fine. It will take some time, but you will be fine.
Alison, I know this is really tough to understand right now, but sometimes adults make mistakes, like deciding to divorce. Even though your parents might not be living together anymore, remember that they will always love you, no matter what. I went through this myself when I was your age, and it broke my heart to see my parents splitting up. But as hard as it was, I learned that sometimes adults are just doing the best they can. It might take some time, but as you grow older, you'll start to see things more clearly. You are strong, and you will get through this, and one day, you'll understand that love doesn't change just because people live in different places.
Alison has been claiming that her mom is abusive, and that she wants to stay with her dad but the court did not side with her opinion. Unfortunately this is more than just a teen being unable to handle her parents separating.
If you listen to the press conference of her best friend's testimony, you can infer that there is much more than a mere divorce plaguing Allison. It sounds like her mom is... putting it nicely, absolutely toxic.
I wana give Alison a big hug and tell her that if she feels like she isnt being heard, that we all do hear her, and understand her , the whole community does. And we are here for her too and we just want her to be safe and happy. ❤ 🫂

When I heard her Mom say”she hasn’t slept”-I was like WTH -your daughter is missing and your worried about not sleeping?!how could you sleep with your child missing -something is off with her Mom.we are all so very happy and relieved Alison is home safe
Why don’t they let the little girl speak for herself? Make it public so she’s not coerced by people behind closed doors to say her mom isn’t cruel or seeking money thru her.
I totally couldn’t understand why her aunt said that the system failed her while the family clearly hide the truth about Alison run away from home. If Alison is a good kid, why her mother wants you to put her in the mental institution? What kind mother can do such a thing to her child? Nothing make sense. Please protect the poor kid. Get to the bottom of this madness.
The system is messed up. Her Mom wanted to win and live in welfare for life with free medical, cash aid, food stamp EBT and rent free. In addition to getting money for IHSS when she put her daughter to mental in and then outpatient. My friend has been through this, and her family is just taking in the government welfare money for life. My ex-family relatives and his girlfriends are doing all this too. It how they work the system.
I have never been so invested on hoping someone gets home as much as her. I have friends out there, and you just want neighborhoods you're connected with to be the safest ever. It's still a family issue, that I hope gets the best help, and she can slowly get back to her regular life, despite all this drama. Glad she's back at home safe. I hope she has time to relax and unwind before anymore family drama happens, which might negatively affect her again 🙏🏽🙏🏽

We need to do better in listening to children. How the hell are our schools expected to let children make gender affirming decisions when we don't even listen to them about child abuse by their mothers.
Have you watch the police video knocking on her door a day b4 she ran away? The cop said a 15 year old can not make a decision and yet the state of CA is telling us her kids in her age can make gender affirming decisions.
Don’t just blame the court. Find out the truth. Save the kid!
How do you know that the mom has NPD?
Amen this is the real health and safety issue
@@ruthfu751 I agree that uncovering the truth and ensuring the child’s safety are top priorities. It’s important to thoroughly investigate all aspects of the situation and hold all parties accountable if necessary. Ensuring that the child is protected and supported should be the focus of any actions taken.
Hope her mom is exposed for the nightmare she seems to be.
I got a bad feeling from the aunt's personality. She seemed to be very manipulative, dishonest, and controlling. I wonder if the mom is the same way.
Its good to hear shes okay 👍
I’m so glad she’s safe. Kids must be protected.
I’m glad that the kid is safe. I hope the father keep her safe.
The mother is rich, she won the custody battle that way. There’s a video of her saying her mother is abusive
How do you know the mother is rich?
@@alfonseal the best friend was stated saying so in the press conference with the aunt (seen in this video) and the father. he says "the moms side has a buttload of money"

Wondering why this whole time dad was silent but this news conference puts the story in a new light.
advice from his attorney
The dad know Alison ran away but don't know where to?
@@jma5599 no one knew so how would he 🙄
@@brandonceja-mj3go the police treats missing person vs someone ran away differently, right?
@@jma5599 Yes, the approach can differ. Generally, when a person is reported missing, the police treat it as a serious situation with immediate efforts to locate them. If someone is known to have run away, the response may focus on understanding the circumstances and ensuring their safety while addressing the reasons for their departure. In both cases, the priority is usually the person's safety and well-being.
There’s a video Alison recorded couple days/ day before she went missing. It was her at her dad’s house fully hysterical bc she didn’t want to go with her mom. Her grandma also made a post about it, how her mom wants to lock her up in mental facility and uses it against her. Watch the video of her not wanting to go back to her mother it’s heart breaking. She’s not just a kid she’s 15 she has developed thoughts and feelings if she’s being abused someone needs to take her away from her mother
Where can I see the video?

Imagine if she was running away from her dad! He would have been arrested and mainstream media would have eaten him alive, his story would be everywhere, in the main time portraying the mom as a hero
The double standards are absolutely shameless

Pearl is right
Judge needs to be removed from power.
How can we make this happen?
Recall , but apparently that’s made illegal or under threat of punishment
Thank you father God for keeping her safe..❤
The mom is a narcissist she enjoyed that camera time
Signs certainly point to the mother being a narc, or at least abusive, but you got that from one little clip without audio?
The dad should file a police report on his daughter behalf & Restraining Order against the mom because she abused her own daughter.
Let her be with who she wants. Stupid court. Shut it down now
Investigate the MOTHER!
Sounds like the father needs custody, and the mother is unstable and possibly abusing the child.
the one with the mental problem just might be the mother. who the hell in their right minds has their straight A student committed?
Or let her ride her bike for 3 miles on her own when the day before she was trying to get her to go to an institution
What do her grades have to do with that?
Precisely. I was threatened with institutionalization by my mother when I was 12, and again at 16. It was designed to keep me in line, but I managed to get the help I really needed at the time. The mom whining about her kid, and oh she goes to Bible school and her croc tears is all horseshit. I hope people listen to that girl.
15 yrs old is old enough to determine for herself which parent she lives with...the court system should respect the 15 yr old's decision.
Dad needs custody and the mom pay child support.
The mom is very emotional, while the dad is very stoic, very calculating to say the least
@@kgan4733and he brought lawyer for press conference. If my child would be missing I would go crazy. Hire lawyer would be the last of my thoughts
@@Mr1stcatthey need to investigate the mother, and also they have school case files with the counselor or doctor
@@angeltan3622Beautifully written, like a letter to your younger self🫶
If you listen to the press conference of her best friend's testimony, you can infer that there is much more than a mere divorce plaguing Allison. It sounds like her mom is... putting it nicely, absolutely toxic.
@@jaquelinegarcia119does the court give a day to what the child wants?
She should not be forced to goto a mental hospital.
Good and smart kids often have valid reasons for fleeing.
Thanks god she is smart 🙏 prayers her voice gonna be heard and she gonna be with her dad
So happy she's safe
Stupid child protection system. First word they listen to is the mom…even though she abusive and not even the whole truth or other side.
turns out the moms a psycho. chargess need to be made against the mom
I wana give Alison a big hug and tell her that if she feels like she isnt being heard, that we all do hear her, and understand her , the whole community does. And we are here for her too and we just want her to be safe and happy. ❤ 🫂
Poor Sweet little child. Wise beyond her years, knowing she'd be better off with her own devices rather than left to the devices of the State and her parents. She deserves better.
Such a great news she’s safe and sound 🙏.
The girl wants to live with her father, but nobody listens to her including the court system I guess.
Thank you Lord for answering prayers 🙏🏽
Glad she is safe. Great news!
Her mom is abusing her and you don’t know what happened behind closed door 😢 she’s scared of her mum and stepdad. if she feel safe with her biological dad just let her live her biological dad omg
Very happy to hear this.
I’m so glad that she was found safe I pray for her safe return
The mom needs to be arrested for abuse
The parents failed the girl, more than the system.
Thank God!! I prayed for you, I know you’re family is grateful you’re safe..
Thank you god 🙏🏻 for making sure she was found safe and sound I can’t believe the parents and I wonder what she was doing in Glendale
Praise God she's ok
So happy to hear the child is safe. 🙏🪷💕
🙏🙏
Thank God she is safe. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
She disappeared for about a week. Why do I have the feeling there's more context to the story and they don't want the public to know it.🤔
Where is the update.. the news mentioned they were going to give more information
Mom abused her and she ran away because there was a court order that she had to stay with her mom. There’s a video with social services trying to get her, she stood her ground and didn’t let them enter. Know your rights even if you’re a pre adult
@@STEVENDANE-c6eNOT social services but MP police officers at the door demanding her to open the door and abide by the court order of involuntary institutionalization initiated by her mom. A mom does such a thing on a 15 years old? Why not try counseling before locking her up in an institution? Heartless and cold blooded.
Thank GOD for all blessings 😃🙏
Shes a good kid, shes a kind kid........whos fed up with putting up with her parets fighting. Glad she's fine.
The court always thinks they know what's in the best interests of the child. They don't have a clue .. They never have 😒
It’s been like this for 5 decades
Good to hear the young lady is safe.
Thank you God that she was found and is okay!
Thank you God she is alive. However she doesn’t feel safe with her mom. If a child says that she doesn’t want to live with her mom and she has a dad who is 100% willing to care for her than give the child the choice to do so.
Great news.
I hope the family can resolve the issues to create peace and health.
I'm glad she was found safe. Her mother definitely seems a little sus. She wants to be with her father and it seems like family and friends have confirmed that the father would be the more logical and sane choice.
Such a weird case…….
The media is kinda trash, why are they not talking about the video that Alison recorded and posted the day before she went missing. The cops went to her house to take her to a mental facility and she didn't wanna go and said her mom is abusive and she doesn't feel safe with her mom. The video is on youtube.
Aww, great news. I'm so glad she's home and safe
God bless this young girl snd her family in her being found safe.

Oh thank you so much for the good news!!!! I have been thinking about her and mom since I saw her moms plea!!!! I’m so happy!!! ❤
Someone should investigate her home and exactly why she ran away. Might me more going on there than is being admitted.
Glad she is safe. Divorce is very hard on children. The aunt wants to blame the court system. She needs to look closer to home.
There are more dramas we don’t know. The attorneys have advised them what to say and what not to say. Alison’s friends all say the same thing that they know all the details what Alison goes thru.
They just delivered this child in to the hand of a monster. Her mother !
Just glad she's safe, don't understand the situation.
Glad she’s ok, thank God.
Thank you Jesus for keeping her safe. Let her live with her daddy. She is 15 she has a right to tell the judge eho she lives with.
Jesus is dead. jesus has nothing to do with this
She should be protected. Children don't just run away for no reason. I ran away from my abusive mother and cops just took me back, told her she should discipline me more. So she beat me more.
Thank god she is fine! Yesterday I was worried about her.
YES! So happy for this!❤
Where was her mom during this conference in regards to her daughter finally being found?????????
She put out a statement online that screams I’m a narcissistic sociopath
If she was good mother than she wouldnt have ran away in the first place and gone missing NOT for a day but a whole week.
