Wow, that’s amazing. I must say I’m very relieved that health and safety have stepped in after the dreadful accident suffered by Henry Hoover. Tragic and completely avoidable 😉
So glad to see a safety rail at least is this chance of falling out of bed than the hole? Well done you too good team have a super Christmas and a beautiful New Year.
Love the rustic look. I have done something similar, but I debarked the wood first and let it dry some. This gets around some of the shrinkage issues as it dries.
Hi Keitei, So now you can add green wood whittler to your list of skills. Was Max joking when he said three weeks to complete? Would you consider using glue or is the aim just to whittle it to the exact dimensions? Cheers
Great work. Excellent watching you working in a traditional way with traditional country coppice materials...I wish we made more of these skills and materials today. Thank you for posting.
It looks great! I like the Y shaped pieces crossing over - gives the balustrade a nice accent. "Balustrade" is such a nice word, I don't get to use it very often. As Max said, it could be a verb - balustrading. "What did you do at the weekend" "A little balustrading..."
Nothing finer than building a nest ❤

In old Ireland, we would have called your rail 'vernacular'. Made from tree branches and logs in many instances. Looks great 😊
Good teamwork, looks great. thank you for the video. I love those hats. You could sell Max, and Keitei hats. :-)
I love this. Our Tiny Home is full of things made from bits of fallen trees we've salvaged from the land.
a well crafted and organic part of the house. It's cheery that you could collect the materials close by. 🌳🌳
Thanks for this , im going to steal the idea to do a hand rail for my caravan 😁😁.
Nice to see Max “branching out” into woodworking 😂. sorry couldn’t resist 😊. Happy Christmas to you both ❤

What a great addition to your tiny home. I love the use of y branches whose idea was that?? Looks great. And functional too. 👍👌
So no more Russian roulette on a morning when you roll over now😆. Nice idea with the green wood👌 I’ve not done any since my college days!

For a second then I thought you were going for Roman numerals., for a second, with the way the branches sat.
