it was so nice to get a full tour of the house. I remember when you were building it, the work with the straw, the endless making of the clay for the sides, and thinking about the work involved as you put it on the sides by hand. It truly has become a cozy home!!
Lovely video. I just recently discovered the channel. You guys live on my childhood island :) Love that you are able to build a home there. Sauna would be one addition a local would do, helps through those winters. Perhaps not your cup of tea.
Great video. Yes more insulation in roof. Three panes of glass would significantly reduce inside heat from sun tho. If you want to grow shad3 quickly on a trellis try hops. Roses take forever and then all of a sudden they are burdensome and prickly. Secondary in importance to roof insulation is insulating the floor slab. It’s unbelievable what that does. I would rather have less glazing and better insulation around all the windows, doors and cracks. All the little crevices. I love your homestead! May God bless you and keep you close!
