We stayed at fairmont the Palm last year. Due to the horrific construction site located on the beach and bad service, we asked to move hotels. Unfortunately they couldn’t fit our needs. Due to our complaints, we were then upgraded to one of their best suites, in which I must say was beautiful!
We are thinking of going this year, could you eat the dinner option in any of the restaurants, or wae it the main buffet dining only. Also how much for sift drinks I e coke etc 😊
But a word of caution for those “adjoining room doors“: many times those doors are very thin and you can often hear noise filtering thru from the persons in the adjoining room. As a rule, I try to avoid checking into a room that has an adjoining room door.
5:40 LOL, you're kidding, right? It's absolutely horrible with that huge construction site. We thought about staying at the Fairmont for the 3rd time this year, but after we found out about the construction going on there, we picked some other hotels - thank god we did.
Within walking distance are really only other hotels so if you want to shop and eat at non hotel restaurants you will need to take a taxi either to Atlantis area or onto the mainland.

Stuart. What prompted you to start a YT channel? And did you plan on Proper DIY at this same time?

Thanks for the video. Can i ask about the transport to the mainland. is there free shuttles or tram from the hotel that go directly to the mainland?
The hotel does lay on a free shuttle bus that goes to Dubai Mall and the Mall of the Emirates a number of times a day.
Fantastic hotel shame all the construction work was going on we just went for the day and had dinner there hope it’s back to normal soon

Which hotel did you pick? I'm going for the first time in March 12-22 I want a beach hotel but want something near harbor. Around $250 or less
Thank you for the great and comprehensive review .
No problem - lots more to come...
Do we have to eat at the resort or can we walk outside and find places to eat and shop?

I went to that hotel in 2016
I came to this hotel and it’s amazing
Nakheel own the palm and they can put coffee bars or shops anywhere they like unfortunately
Keep going
I was in the pool at 5:48😂
It’s not a place for pedestrians in my experience. You have to be quite determined to walk somewhere
Cool
Good
Thanks
My work place
Hi, is the construction work done by now?
