Its been 26 years since I smelled a 2 stroke!! 😛. So AWESOME to have a place like that available to you!! I cant imagine having access to tracks like that...although I am WAY too brittle to even think about learning that now!! :D. You are going to have so much fun teaching your kids all of this....showing them how Dad did things!! Also, remember that in another 20 years, I would bet ALL bikes will be electric, so enjoy riding that bike while you can dude!! It wont be long before they are all gone.... Thanks a TON for sharing this with all of us dude!!!

Cole, check your plug color, too many blown engines as the Lectron tends to be lean. The Pro series has low speed knob for that pilot jet and a new needle for getting more fuel at the crack.
I run the more aggressive STIC Super X carb. Factory HRC test rider Rich Taylor got his only hole shot in an SX race with the 90's version of it. He stated in an article that his stock CR250 with the carb was faster than the works 250's!
I helped a 250SX rider dial it in and he said he is able to hang with 450's that would drop him previously. Same story for my old 200SX.
Two stroke whoops are my fav sound at the track lol that and any full pin sends YYAAATT!!

Have an 03 that's pretty nice and tricked out. Looks like new and l ride it every week. It's the only bike l ride, my 4 stroke is gone, the CR 250 is all l want.
Ride that thing and put some Red Plastic and graphics on it, and save your Straight rhythm plastics and graphics. Hondas are "Red" 😅
Yeah after riding it again I want to go red and get some new graphics for it for sure!
With a aftermarket pipe, FMF fatty or Pro circuit, it makes it sound so beefy. In a distance you would think it's a CR 500.
Yeah! This is an old factory PC pipe and silencer. I love the way it sounds
Stock Kehin for 250 is a 36.
I didn’t have stock but I could never get it to run right.. I only had a couple weeks on it though
I`m going to build another motor for My 96 CR 250. I'm going to build a 300 motor for it. I'm going to run a Keihin 38 with a 3 force Reed intake for that motor up here in Mammoth with a Pro Circuit pipe.
What’s the power difference like between the factory 250 and the 450
I’m not sure but the biggest difference is the torque
Cole, are you running OEM sprocket tooth size?
No I usually go one tooth over stock. This might have two over since it’s SX set up

put a keihin back on it, it will run better. Lectrons, respectfully, are junk. Ask yourself when the last time was you saw mitch payton decide to run a lectron over a mikuni or a keihin. Just sayin. That expensive engine will thank you for getting it a proper carburetor, not some sales gimmick.
That being said it was great seein you break the SR bike out again been a bit since we've seen that pop up on the channel.
I see your point but I never get a bog with this set up! It’s nice to have piece of mind after the other carb tried ti take me out 😂
@@ColeSeely Thanks for the polite response dude. Appreciate you taking the time. I totally get where your coming from. Might be a good video to do though where you have someone properly tune the keihin for you and let you compare? There is no substitute for brass with a 2 stroke. Love the content brother keep up the great work.

Its is very anoying the cuts during your speach , for me has an outsider is very dificult to catch everything you are saying so fast, just try to keep some pause. Other than that love the videos!
