I kept grinding and now I’m almost 100% debt free and make over 6 figures a year. Never quit grinding guys and gals, never give up. Believe in yourself and keep pushing no matter what!

I'm 17, graduating High School this June. I've lived in NYC my whole life, still am. I'll be living at home for college. I see so many of my friends and classmates getting into better colleges, going out of state, just making something of they're lives. Then I look at myself, and wonder what the hell went wrong. It definitely helps seeing that highly successful people like you Alex, had really low points well into you're 20s, yet made it in just 5 years. For now, I'll just go to college and study, meet new people, see what opportunities can be presented to me. But I just can't shake off the feeling that I'm doing something wrong, or that I'm not making the best of what's already in front of me.

I'm 20, turning 21 in 9 days, and I needed this video. I never cry, but this video made my eyes a little watery 😂 such an inspiring and humble man. For the last few years my mental wellbeing had been pretty crippled and it's been really hard dealing with the loses of my family falling apart and losing a few people to various tragedies like suicide and heart attacks, nearly losing my grandfather to cancer for a year straight when I couldn't even visit him because of the pandemic. I gave up my entire group of friends because I was tired of their negativity and pessimistic outlook on life, but it's been really hard finding new friends during Covid. I've been alone dealing with my severe depression, hating myself every day for going from a top student all throughout K12 to dropping out of college because I was depressed and didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I lost all of my passion when my depression got really bad, so I felt hollow and confused. For the last 2 or 3 years I've just been working random jobs living check to check giving my dad rent money and trying to get in a better place mentally. I struggle with depression adhd anxiety and insomnia, so I always feel tired or unmotivated and can't focus on anything. But the last few months I've gotten much better. I started medication to help with my adhd and I've been meeting new people, trying to find new friends (I'm in the Cincinnati area (: ) and better myself, teaching myself new languages, drawing, figuring out what I want to do. I've been working on a book series I want to publish because I absolutely love writing and I want to be able to travel and see the world, meet new people and learn about other cultures. I absolutely love to help and meet people. I think it's really important that no matter how successful you get, you always remember where you came from. Struggle and hardships make you strong, and I think you are paragon of that. You are an incredible man and your story really struck me, and gave me so much hope and some things I desperately needed to hear. When I was younger, I expected myself to have everything figured out, and I've thought I was a failure for being confused and not having any money, without direction and no friends. I've been watching your videos for years, and they've helped a lot with my style, my confidence in terms of who I am and what I want from life, my saving and money management. I would be a very different person if it weren't for the things I've learned from people, and you are one of those people. You've changed my life to be honest, and I can never thank you enough for that. I've never cared much for material things, but your story of going from starting in America with nothing, your parents working their ass off to take care of you and your brothers, and then you going from broke in la to what you are now, is truly one of the most amazing stories I've heard. I have nothing but respect and admiration for you. You don't want pity or attention, you simply want to help and bring people hope. I'm 20, turning 21 in 9 days, and I needed this video. I never cry, but this video made my eyes a little watery 😂 such an inspiring and humble man.
For the last few years my mental wellbeing had been pretty crippled and it's been really hard dealing with the loses of my family falling apart and losing a few people to various tragedies like suicide and heart attacks, nearly losing my grandfather to cancer for a year straight when I couldn't even visit him because of the pandemic. I gave up my entire group of friends because I was tired of their negativity and pessimistic outlook on life, but it's been really hard finding new friends during Covid. I've been alone dealing with my severe depression, hating myself every day for going from a top student all throughout K12 to dropping out of college because I was depressed and didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I lost all of my passion when my depression got really bad, so I felt hollow and confused. For the last 2 or 3 years I've just been working random jobs living check to check giving my dad rent money and trying to get in a better place mentally. I struggle with depression adhd anxiety and insomnia, so I always feel tired or unmotivated and can't focus on anything.
But the last few months I've gotten much better. I started medication to help with my adhd and I've been meeting new people, trying to find new friends (I'm in the Cincinnati area (: ) and better myself, teaching myself new languages, drawing, figuring out what I want to do. I've been working on a book series I want to publish because I absolutely love writing and I want to be able to travel and see the world, meet new people and learn about other cultures. I absolutely love to help and meet people.
I think it's really important that no matter how successful you get, you always remember where you came from. Struggle and hardships make you strong, and I think you are paragon of that. You are an incredible man and your story really struck me, and gave me so much hope and some things I desperately needed to hear. When I was younger, I expected myself to have everything figured out, and I've thought I was a failure for being confused and not having any money, without direction and no friends. I've been watching your videos for years, and they've helped a lot with my style, my confidence in terms of who I am and what I want from life, my saving and money management. I would be a very different person if it weren't for the things I've learned from people, and you are one of those people. You've changed my life to be honest, and I can never thank you enough for that.
I've never cared much for material things, but your story of going from starting in America with nothing, your parents working their ass off to take care of you and your brothers, and then you going from broke in la to what you are now, is truly one of the most amazing stories I've heard. I have nothing but respect and admiration for you. You don't want pity or attention, you simply want to help and bring people hope.
For anyone still here, thank you for taking the time to read this today. I hope that this message finds you well, and I hope that whatever you may be going through, or whatever you may be coming out of, has made you stronger, and that you find your happiness and hope in life. Everyone deserves to be happy, and no matter what you come from or have gone through, I know you can achieve it. Have a great day :))
