I got mine today as a Christmas gift. Tried it out. I didn’t see the vodka streaming from the bottle. Was I suppose to remove the plastic at the bottom of the straw?
@@mskita007 Hello and Merry Christmas! No you are not supposed to remove that part at the bottom of the straw. That goes inside the bottle along with the straw. I recommend you check the part of the straw that connects at the top to the machine. Make sure you placed it correctly in the slot and pressed that lever all the way down to tighten the connection. That is what makes the bottle suction work right.
@ Thank you! You were right. I didn’t ensure the top was snug. Just made myself a nice little Moscow Mule aka “Northside”. 🍹 This is awesome! Merry Christmas!
No it will not, you need the pods in order for the machine to read what type of liquor it is supposed to dispense and what type of drink you want to make. However, it may be possible to "reuse" an already expended pod coded for the liquor of choice. So basically the liquor/water would dispense into your glass for use with your own mixers. That is just my guesstimate.
Each cocktail capsule has a barcode on the top. When it is added to the machine, the Bartesian immediately identifies what cocktail you're making by the barcode on the capsule. The pods even suggest to you what alcohol you should use to make the perfect cocktail on the lid! I love it!
@@csjr9One tip I will offer is to check the blade that punctures the Capsule after each use to make sure the foil material isn’t blocked. If it is blocked it will spray out the sides. It doesn’t happen often but I make it a habit to check because it does happen. Happy Drinks!
@@gracerivera3041 Hello! The machine has a placeholder for each type of different liquor. Like the place you would put the whiskey bottle is marked WHISKEY. If you were to place a tequila bottle in the wrong spot that was marked for whiskey, for example, you would mess your drink up. Thank you for your question!
Thanks for this tutorial! I couldn't hear sound on the one the product suggested. My wife bought me this for Christmas and we are loving it!
@@pierporter1107 You’re welcome! Thanks for watching! 😀

How does it know what drink to make. Does the bartisian capsule have something that tells it what to mix...?

How does it know which liquor to use? Do you program what type of liquor is in each location?
