Planting dahlias in containers is a great choice for people who have little space for a garden. Dahlias grow well in pots, though you need to be very careful not to let them repeatedly dry out. They also will need to be regularly fertilized during the growing season, and many will need to be staked so they don't fall over.

Thanks for this video which I found to be very useful and informative. For the first time, this year, I have bought some dahlia seeds. For many years I have grown them from tubers kindly given to me by my uncle. Those tubers are still going but hopefully the seed-grown plants will offer vibrant different new blooms..!
