I love it how these companies invest massive amounts of money to rent or buy offices, telephone, computer and network infrastructure and hire huge teams of people... to save us money!
One time, I had one of these long distance telemarketers call and give me their line. He never qualified me for any long distance usage, he just went into his spiel. I, of course, agreed with everything he said, and thought the service was great and felt it would be a good idea to sign up. He gets my info, at least what I gave him, and he THEN asked about my usage. I said I did about $10.00 in long distance............a year. At that point he realized his boo boo and had to backtrack, a Lot! I then sprung my trap and told him he just wasted 10 minutes of time because he didn’t do his job. I hung up laughing out loud.
