- A friend of mine bought us tickets to see Barry Manilow in concert. I'd had a very long day at work and was on the verge of not attending the show. Thanks to my friend's encouragement, I mustered up what little bit of energy was left in me and went to the show...and the rest is history!! Although I CAN carry a tune, it's awfully hard to do when your hyperventilating. The only other thing I can say is this: If I had known this was going to happen, I would have dressed better!! Thanks to Alexa Jackson Schlimmer for helping me to overcome my fears and relish in spontaneity!!
I don't know if Barry Manilow ever came to Manila, Philippines for a concert. He has millions of loyal fans here on this musically inclined, God-fearing and peace loving 7,107 tropical island nation.

Took my mother Anna Marie Anderson to see Barry Manilow years ago . She loved Barry Manilow Julio Iglesias and Michael Bolton. I took her to all three concerts . She passed away sadly on Nov 28 2021 . We use to sing this song together.

my grandmother worked in the laundry dept at a days Inn back round 1990, and she had a coworker named Irene who was a MAYYYYYY-JOR Manilow fan. Now that it's 2015, I can still remember that lady and how I was like, "who's Barry Manilow" at the age of 12 or 13. Haha. Funny how I like the guy at 38 and how this is my favorite song of his.
