What I don’t understand is why the leasing manager has not been arrested and charged for being complicit in this murder. She was not sure of what apartment the disturbance was coming from. It was only after being asked for the fourth time that she gave the wrong apartment number. Really. If she hadn’t lied the airman would be alive today.
Amen! Also, since police departments classify domestic violence matters as life threatening to the responding officers, they should require the accurate location, before responding. Alternatively, if unsure, they should at least follow the noise disturbance, before approaching residences.

Mr. Crump should force the Sheriff to explain why his deputy felt the need to unholster his firearm and arm himself before the senior Airman opened the door to his apartment . The video shows the officer in possession of his revolver prior to the door being opened . What caused the officer to believe that it was necessary to Arm himself prior to the Airman opening the door to his apartment ? There was no obvious sign of danger . There was no sign of anyone in distress , no noise of any kind , no screaming or shouting . So why did the officer unholster his firearm and arm himself ? Clearly , his intent was to shoot and kill that is clearly obvious by the fact that he unholstered his firearm and armed himself prior to the Airman opening the door of his apartment .
Also, I recall that, in a different video, Attorney Crump said that the environment was so peaceful that birds could be heard chirping, before the officer disturbed Robert.

I'm a black managing owner of over 70 doors I see first hand the racism of the Knoxville Police department if we call them on a white person bringing drugs or buying drugs or trespassing No action but will arrest a black person that wasn't even who we called about. I've had Karen calls towards me from white tenants that had to leave and KPD was really trying their best to arrest me the owner for burglary . I have the only Body Cam video that shows how police treats the owner with my lawyer on speaker versus how they treat the racist Karen 911 callers. I got courtesy violation from Internal Affairs against one officer (slap on wrist) and restraining orders against all Karen callers. 10 months later same two officers killed a lady at a hospital during g an unlawful arrest and only got suspended a couple days and a little demotion .
I hope the family and the community get some Justice! The days of the thin blue line gang of thugs needs to stop now! The Sheriff needs to held accountable!

My gut feeling is that publicized "firing" of officers in these types of cases are just a front. Why would an officer knock on a door and hide more than once, because he came to carry out a hit. It is a normal thing in America to get your piece if someone knocks on your door more than once, and you look out and see no one, seems, like he was set up and be murdered.
