  • Well I took my time with this one, didn't I? How long has Demo 401 been out now? Really, I was just waiting for a patch to fix the windows in the Reception Room and Dining Room. Unfortunately, it looks like that could take longer than expected. So I decided to go ahead and make the video anyway, finishing off the 1st Class spaces I never got around to in the other videos.
Starting off in the D-Deck Reception Room, we get to see the famous candelabra ontop of a pedestal of the Grand Staircase. Turning around and hanging on the wall is a French Tapestry that is based on a series called “Chasse de Guise.” In the corner of the room we see Titanic's grand piano, along with some White Star Line Music Booklets sitting ontop of it. Here, we also see the interior of the stained glass windows, showing the portholes on the other side. Side note, the window textures are not final. Heading into the dining room we see the tables set and ready for the next meal. In the center of the room are elaborately carved wood panels that surround another piano. Heading downstairs we get to see the one and only cabin in this tour, Cabin E-23. This is supposedly Molly Brown's cabin. Through a door and down another set of stairs, we come to the Squash Court, the lowest 1st Class Facility onboard Titanic. Down the hall we come to the Post Office and 1st Class Baggage rooms. The layouts of these rooms might change for the final game. Finally, we end with the Turkish Bath complex and take a swim in the 1st Class Pool down on F-Deck.
Since Demo 401 is so quiet, I've decided to add the Titanic: Honor & Glory soundtrack, as well as some sound effects. Credits can be found below.

Even though the titanic's E deck was also called the upper deck it was the middle deck of the ship because there were 5 decks above it. Which were the Boat deck, A deck, B deck, C deck, and D deck, and there were 5 decks below it. Which were F deck, G deck, orlop deck, lower orlop deck and the tank top deck.

The flooding of Scotland Road is a main reason as to why Titanic listed so heavily to port as she sank. Flooding became asymmetric

The 1st class dining saloon had fans installed for ventilation, yet they are missing here. James Cameron explored what remained of the dining saloon in 2001 and discovered in the forward starboard corner a fan. The circular grill was seen above the silt. High on the wall above was the electrical socket into which the fan had once been plugged into. The fans are also missing from the dining saloon recreation for James Cameron's 1997 film.

What about the little electric 💡⚡ lamps that were on the tables in the dining saloon? 4:43

@@jamesfracasse8178There were no table lamps. One passenger who disembarked at Queenstown took a picture of the saloon in use and no lamps. His name Francis Browne.

@@Garsons-oq4lh ok but in a illustration for a magazine for the time it showed table lamps with red shades on them.
I know cause I have a question book about the Titanic.

@@jamesfracasse8178 Yep, I've seen that illustration. Quite nice, but still no lamps in the photo Browne took of the saloon when it was in use. Obviously it was decided not to have lamps in Titanic's saloon.

I’m confused maybe someone enlighten me.
In the movie... Rose was told to take the elevator to very bottom (E-Deck) and go to the left.
But at 7:00 in this video there is no left
    ?

3:02 I know you gotta make do with the space you have but I'd be pretty annoyed if I got seated at either of the tables with the giant pillar in the middle of them lol. Think of how annoying that would be trying to look at the people sitting across from you.

generally back then it was more customary to talk to someone next to you rather than across from you
