I’d have liked for it to have been an exciting go around, like wind shear on short final or something but beggars can’t be choosers. Lol. With the severe weather we have here I am really surprised I’ve never had a diversion in the spring or summer. I always seem to fly the day before or after bad weather. Except yesterday, it was nasty in MSY and HOU but it didn’t cause any disruptions.
@@AListFlierKris hi and I love Southwest Airline and my favorite Texas airport is DAL-Dallas love Field airport-KDAL and SAT-San Antonio international airport and my favorite airport is Orlando international airport MCO
@@williamkinyon3832 It was a two for the price of one deal for me: first flight on the MAX since October 2018 and a go around. I could hear passengers a couple of rows up sounding somewhat confused and worried, being that we were on the MAX. I was also thrilled to just have a few more minutes in the air 🤣 Secretly I’m hoping for a go around every time we land.
I’m slowly seeing them randomly go into many of the other airports within the network. I just wish they operated them on consistent routes but the cycling of acft through routes, acft swapping and the controlled chaos of their point to point system had always been a nuance. I had four different trips last week (13 total segments) booked to try and get on the acft. In the end I took two trips and luckily ended up on the MAX for five of the six flights. I can’t wait til they start taking the 7M.
Trust me, its kinda fun for the cockpit crew to be able to take their jet "around the patch" on a nice, clear day!!!
nice go around! love the beautiful engine sound!
My old stomping grounds. Had a lot of good times in Lubbock. I just wish I could remember them.
Great coverage! Nice go-around!
thanks! it was benign but intriguing nonetheless. 195 flights in the last 4 years and it was my first go around
I haven't flown on the max 8 aircrafts in a while since 2018!
This flight was my first on it since October of 2018 as well. heck of a performance. great flight, great scenery and a go around to top it off.
I liked and subscribed, you have some legit videos.
That was a butter landing
SWA has a smooth landing
Interesting experience. I've never done a go around. Just take off and divert or go back to the departure airport. Really cool video.

I've done 2 go-arounds in my time....Once in San Francisco (SFO) and the other one in Salt Lake City (SLC).....Got me nervous for a few moments...

About 10:45 in the video I was in my car waiting taking pictures of the FIRST max here KLBB!!
Awesome! Since the updated route/flight schedule that launched on the 12th they’ve used it pretty consistently for flight 825.
Loved it! Definitely deserves a sub!
thanks. appreciate the good feedback.
My hometown
Leap engines sound weird to me...like an emergency broadcast tone or fire alarm. I want some growl
Sheesh, they finally started brining the maxes into SJC, American today too

if you were doing S turns you were probably too high, not necessarily too fast. Great video.
buddy could side slip and still be okay if he was too high, but I don't think the passengers would be comfortable lmao.
Max is ridiculously quiet
It is a different tone than the CFM56. At cruise it’s a lot quieter as well.
Lubbock....350 miles in any direction from anything remotely exciting. This video captures it's banality so well. 😫😫😫😫
Its a great town
Flat as a pancake in that neck of the woods.....
it is indeed, although a higher elevation than I thought.
