- A before and after comparison the stock exhaust set up on my 2016 Camaro SS vs Texas Speed longtubes (2" primaries to 3" collector) to a catless (off-road) X pipe, to the stock NPP mufflers. Car also has a DSX Tuning flex fuel kit and tune on the car. Install was done by CBI Street Cars!

To me, this is by far and away the best sounding aftermarket exhaust ove heard on a camaro. Sure, it's easy to make it louder, but this manages to add even more athleticism which screams performance! Love it

So many dumbasses bought the "muffler deletes" because they were cheap. It just made the cars sound raspy and drone.

MBRP or Solo Performance are lower cost and good quality.
They don't drone on highway and give a mean raw sound at WOT.
I have had Solo on my 2016 for years and i like it alot

Damn sounds crazy. What brand LT's and catless xpipe did you go with? I just installed the Gmpp with Gm tune( feels a lot different and made the car sounds deeper), also deleted the secondary cats and added a Stainless works axle back. E85 and longtubes are next. :)

Sounds tons better with longtubes gives it a higher pitch kinda sound that doesn't sound overly raspy

I want to know if the stock npp muffler cuts any power gain advantages with this setup.
Are you muting the power by not running a more free flowing cat back system ? And did you have to tune the ecu when added the headers ?

I do, even with the brake mashed down to the floor and the rpms revved up to 2000, the car breaks to much. I seem to get my fastest 0_60 when I just step on the gas. I have good tires as well
The launch control is the best way to launch cause instead of it having a shit ton a wheel spin it bogs for a second then you get going, unless you have drag tires and some vht just stepping on the gas wont work, i got a 3.9 0-60 with the launch control with 305's in the back non radial, auto

I think headers and stock mufflers is the best way to go..... if you put aftermarket mufflers on aftermarket headers, I think it screeches to much..... of course, my opinion.

Afif it says "Texas speed" and for gains I've seen about 20+ rwhp gain along with more or less torque. Three things that really wake the LT1 up are longtubes, E85, ported intake.

You’re not wrong, V6s are even firing and headers help any engine effectively fire more evenly by improving their exhaust scavenging, so a cross plane starts sounding more like a Ferrari v8. The fact that it’s so prominent here, means this performance part in particular performs really well.
