I got a used Blue PSP 3004 a few weeks ago, it's working but not in best condition, but man, I fell absolutely in love with that system. The selection of games and what that system was able to do in 2004 is just amazing. I already collected a good choice of games so far. Yesterday, both Burnout games and Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd arrived, today Darkstalkers should arrive. And when my new one arrives, I will immediately put a screen protection on it and will play the hell out of it😊

You are correct! As far as I know it's only like this in Japan. If you played any recent nintendo console before you'll notice that the "A" button is where the circle button is on Playstation controllers. Guess they did it that way to make it easier for people to play on both consoles.

I have used them and nothing bad has happened so far. I have a NA PSP 3000 charger that I use on all of them but long term use I can't say. You should be fine but if you want to be safe I think you can buy a voltage converter

From what I know the "X" and "O" buttons are swapped and you can't play US UMD's on it. I'm sure there are some other differences but none that I can tell besides those

I have a psp i loved it sincc bcoz i got this when i was just 15 but tbh the ppsspp emulator on phones are alot better and more flawless/vivid coz of smartphones hd/fullhd screens making it more vibrant to play
Nope. I did buy a grey PSP 3000 a long time ago that came with one pre-installed but it all depends on the previous owner. Sometimes you can just tell buy the pictures of the listed PSP for sale. I think PSP screen protectors are cheap now if they even still make them.
Yup. I did a mod about a month ago to my felicia blue Japanese PSP and all the steps worked as if I was doing it to an US PSP. Just remember that the "X" and "O" are swapped sometimes on a JPN PSP.
@@bengerman777 If you shutdown your psp, you can hold "R" to enter Recovery Menu. There is a section called "Registry Hacks" there you can switch the button between "X" and "O".
I do have it GTA but sadly it's scratched so I hacked my PSP to download it onto a SD card so I can play it. When I bought this I got it for around $100~ USD
@@bengerman777 I Heard PSP 3K models were hard to recover if they were modded then bricked but as to a 2K model I can use The Pandora battery mod and it’ll be more easier to recover I’m gonna mod it to be truly like darth Vader or even make my own edition, I was gonna make a psp with different coloured buttons and custom battery covers.

I always worry about the difference in voltage between each region. Can you plug in a PSP charger in an american outlet without bricking the PSP?

I can't buy PSP or UMD but I use ppsspp emulator android PSP emulator to play PSP games
