Everything about this scene is awesome, but my favourite part is that the fight - if you take away the flashback - lasts for exactly 2 minutes and 40 seconds.
The fact there are people that, to this day, have the AUDACITY of saying these two are not in love and are just "Really good friends" fucking puzzles me like nothing else does
I have a broken gaydar but even I understood that Miku is gay over Hibiki since Season 1 🤣 And Hibiki probably started realizing she is gay for Miku around this episode hahaha
Mainly due to a fragment getting shot into her body near her heart or some other place that they couldn't remove it from due to the chances of death being too high in fact the injury alone really should have killed her due to blood loss. One more thing to mention is every time she transformed she become more Gear than Human which caused her body to radiate a LOT of heat outwards with the ONLY positive being her power was increasing more and more until this fight being the last time she could transform like that.

She'd fit right in at the Gutsy Galaxy Guard, where insane statements like that are not only normal, but standard operating procedure. (Look up 'Final Fusion Manual'. GaoGaiBiki would fit right in)
