The ONLY currently ICE-dominated application for which EVs make sense would be construction vehicles (to eliminate their noise pollution and make jobsite communication less radio-dependent). Other than that, bicycles/scooters/skateboards/etc. are the biggest and most powerful application EV technology will ever have.
Twice the parts half the performance! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Let's talk 2024 now. 1 moving part and Tesla Model Y Performance beats a Dodge Hellcat Redeye. Wonder what you are referring to?

They want EV’s for the environment BUT the mining to get the rare metals for the batteries is far worse than exhaust emissions.
False myth...
@@hanshansen3885 Oh strip mining for mineral is Good for the environment. Good to know. Thanks.
@@KCKingdomCreateGreatTrekAgain That is not what I said. Maybe you should look at what you wrote...
The latest iterations of batteries (lfp) don’t use rare metals save for lithium. Lithium is not nearly as rare as many have been lead to believe. Turns out the United States has enormous lithium reserves in multiple locations. If youre really concerned about mining you should be interested in lowering demand for the most mined resource in the world. 7.4 billion tons of coal. Dirty. Inefficient. If you’re that concerned you ought to be promoting improving the grid and developing 5th gen nuclear power.
Aren’t we correctly mining for oil? 🤔
i will never buy any ev...
Get ready to buy a bike or horse...
who cares
25 mile rangeis crazy! I consider that as almost empty and time to fill up! Where I live it is 22 miles to the store!!! I couldn't make a single trip to the store without having to charge before going home!
If ev's weren't a threat to oils bottom line, then there would be no need to make fake articles to scare people. I wonder how many people can actually think that far?
Exactly
hybrids suck too
what a ridiculous video... "nearly stranded" the guy has a car with 25 miles an range. he would get more range out of an electric scooter. Getting a hybrid more of a joke than this video. The only reason there is a push to say are not ready for primetime is only Tesla and BYD (a Chinese EV maker) are able to make profits the cars they sell, everyone else loses money, so there has been an effort to discredit. Tesla has over 20,000 charges in the US and and any other car company can use their chargers with an adapter. You can take any route across the US you and you will never be stuck (unless you car only have a range if 25 miles). Hybrid is stupid, they are heavy, cost more so you might as well just go all gasoline.
You know electric cars are heavier than ice cars right? No one is buying your lies buddy shut it already
@@adrianwiles1 Oh, really. They're heavier. Do you think they are too heavy to carry. Who gives a fu*k if they are heavier. I don't 2 sh*t's if you buy and EV or not, you probably just stop using a typewriter a few months ago dumb dumb
buying an electric vehicle for 1000 dollars, god i'd take one, i only drive maybe 20 miles a week. When i go shopping, the walmart is 8.5 miles from me one way. that's only 17 miles both directions and i only got maybe 1 hill so if i get 18 miles, i'd still be perfectly fine.
I can walk farther than that ev.
Somehow, Elon Musk managed to rip off all those genius elites. Funny!

EVs don't just struggle in the cold. They struggle in the heat, when you have passengers, when you use the AC or heating, go up hill or on a long journey.

She's a beauty.
Hybrid got a bad rep.
Almost 400 miles on a fill-up, and a sweet ride...except for Dallas; but that's another story.
Yeah one of my coworkers is trying to trade in her Tesla. Has a lot of the complaints many EV owners have. Range, lack of ability to drive in the cold, etc
Make the police , school buses , emergency vehicles , fire trucks , mail drivers and taxi cabs use these vehicles! They are only used for a short time from day to day .
No tax dollars should be used for charging stations or to subsidize electric cars. If it was so great investors would invest in it and businesses would pay to purchase it.
No surprise, the first gen Leafs had terrible batteries that degraded very quickly. The current EVs on the market have significantly better batteries when it comes to degradation and range
Dude, 25 miles? A friggin golf cart could do better than that. $1000 for a leaf? This dude overpaid by $1000. They electrified the Tennessee valley in the 1930s but it actually worked.
