I wish Joe's Adventure picked up where Mafia II's main story left off. I mean, it'll be cool to know what Joe was up to while Vito was in prison, but I really want to know what happens to Joe at the end of the main story. Maybe that was the end and we were supposed to assume, or maybe they'll tell us in Mafia III, either way, i'd love a definite answer.

The game was damn good. More'a Costonzo's acting makes it sweeter.
As a big fan of the franchise I actually had never played this until recently and boy was I disappointed... It started out so good with the snow mission but it fell flat on its head right after that. So repetitive and honestly boring. It's like the developers from hanger 13 made mafia 3 based on joes adventures because that whole game was similar to this dlc. SMH this series needs new life breathed into it, ESPECIALLY after mafia 3

Joe's Adventures could have been more of a story along with more cut scene such as the developers adding the Frankie Potts events and the truth behind Henry Tomasino.....Now, look what they did in return. :(

@salsa2good Dude... if you watched the start of the trailer and actually took everything in you would have noticed it is when Vito is sent to prison -IN JOE'S EYES- the DLC is set before Joe is let out of prison.

Well, I've got it with dc version too, for 10$ with the main game, but would be dissapointed, if it was that short. You know, all those side quests was cutted from the main game, at least they returned it like that. But, as I said, I'd like to skip them too, but the customers would be bitching that its too short for 10$, so 2k just had to add all this...

@JustREALrap That's actually exactly what the developers wanted, go against all cliches and make it a cold momment, they wanted it to make you feel bad...and they pretty much achieved it, many people won't see it that way, but that's what it is, at the end it hits you right in the face and that's the ending, pretty nice imo.
I will only buy this if you can go back to locations where you fought in the missions. What i mean by this is like when in the original single player you play in the butchery, greasers hideout, etc, and can't go back there. I would really want to walk into the grocery store at 1:12
im sorry but i bet my bottom dollar that the game is 28% action, 42% talking, and 40% driving around.

@adriandude85 I agree though. In Chapter 13, Vito and Joe started a bloodshed war between the Tongs and the Mafia families after the Tongs butchered Henry. Henry was a rat working for the federal government according to Leo Galante in Chapter 15. Joe was the one who started the war in the first place when he and Vito entered Chinatown, Joe killed two Chinese employees, so he started the whole screw-up and this is why Leo had his two guys kill him on the orders of the Commission while he spared

@guitarheromast123 Joe's fate is not known, apparently it will be answered in Mafia III whenever it comes out. But it is not definitively known if he is dead or alive. My guess is that Vito saves him somehow and the two of them gotta go on the run from Vinci's family somewhere.
@PcGameHunter This takes place before he died (while vito was in prison in the first game)

@adriandude85 had to be punish for it. Vito saved Leo because of what he did for him in chapter 11 making him escape henry's hit. And thats why Leo told the commission to spare Vito but not Joe. Most ppl who want a happy ending like about the mafia is all fun and games cant even go through the game again rather than just guess what will happen after the events in this game. Sorry for the previous comment, I see what you mean

@KingGopherNuts Why the hell would Vito betray the Vinci family. Leo Galante SAVED Vito's life because of his offer from the Commission and Frank Vinci, but Joe we don't know yet. There are still errors earlier in the game that makes it impossible for Joe to die at the hands of Leo Galante's two henchmen.
@adriandude85 I am very sorry earlier for my previous comment. You are actually right, I see lots of Mafia II Ending comments on UA-cam here and alot people are not getting it. They don't know why Leo Galante said "Sorry, kid. Joe wasn't part of our deal" is because Joe (along with Vito) started the bloodshed war between the Triads and the Mafia families in revenge for the Triads killing Henry and failed to accept the truth that Henry was a FBN informant. He and Vito broke the Mafia rules and..
at the end why the fuck is joe wearing vitto's clothes? -.-

@adriandude85 true... completley true. but we basically buy the game to be happy, if you will. you dont buy a 30 dollar game to be depressed and pissed off about what happens. so yes, i suppose they did a good job of simulating the mafia on the whole but i was pretty annoyed about the ending
they should show me this before I sold my game...

@P19825 lol well this game is pretty wonderful to me especially the story missions "Witness", "Connection", "Supermarket", and "Cathouse". This game does have about 10-11 cut scene and has new locations in Empire Bay, unlike The Betrayal of Jimmy and Jimmy's Vendetta. :/

@adriandude85 Vito. Joe paid the price for his and Vito's stupidity against the Tongs as well as Frank Vinci's associates at the Construction Site during Chapter 14. It has been said over and over in the game that the Commission oversees any activities and brings families all together if there's any disagreements to avoid wars amongst the Mafia, yet Joe broke that rule and was killed for it. 2K Czech already stated that Vito's story is over and that Joe dies anyways and that JA is the last DLC

2K, if ur somehow looking at this comment, I really wish u would take the time add a multiplayer dlc. One that will blow us away with xp lvls and upgrades or a co op mode where we could do like mafia missions together like rob banks and who ever gets the most money wins, or defend wave against police ect.

The part I hate about this DLC is the "Dozens of City Based Missions"
I about killed myself going through the Jimmy DLC (33 missions).
I get done and play Joes and getting so excited, there are cut scenes, chapters, and playboys. This is basically a Mafia 2 Spin Off, this is going to be AWESOME! ..WRONG.. 50 Missions..90% of them city based..its so repetitive and boring. Id rather have 3 hours of a movie like DLC than a 6 hour yawn fest like this,

This game is so under rated it's not even funny. The game is flat out amazing and is even better than some of the triple A titles out there (hint GTA4). Best story line ever in a game peroid. I felt things i never felt while playing a game.
