I believe Angelina just takes all the amazing nuances of past and present artists and combines them into her own sound. She may have similarities to other artists but the incredible ability to combine them and add the emotion makes it her own unique sound and style. Pure Genius.
Wonderful song by one of the greatest singers of all time, there is no comparison with Angelina which she honors perfectly, absolutely not imitating Amy but bringing Her wonderful details, not least the rather crude change of text to be able to perform it in relation to the His age, perfect and, personal opinion, the best cover around, thanks Liz, nice reaction, good life, Massimo🤩

Liz, it is always a pleasure to watch you react to Angelina. Angelina wrote new lyrics, in the 24 hours prior to the recording session, for this dark song by Amy Winehouse. I am so excited now that I have a ticket to see Angelina in concert, on September 22nd at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Two things about this really amazes me.
Angelina replaced the age in appropriate lyrics with her own, at short notice - you can see her reading from the hand written sheets.
NRK (the TV channel recording her performance) took her, along with two of her school friends, to a fun fair. Her vocal warm up took place on the roller coaster - I never heard her give such a powerful high pitch belt before! From there they were driven to the studio for her to perform. The first take she was not at all happy with, a change of top and a bit of a chill time later she sang this, the second take. Not the average day for a 10 year old...
Hi Liz 👋 ❤. Wonderful reaction to 10 Angelina. You hit the nail on the head. They don't sound the same. As the vocal coach Tania points out. AW has more twang and knodle in her voice whens he sings where Angelina's chest and head voice don't have that, but does add and take away when she wants but also has more colors in her voice etc etc.

Hey pretty lady did you know Angelina did a cover of "You Say" by Lauren Daigle back in December, 2021 when she was still 15 at her Christmas party! There is a video of her singing in front of a Christmas tree and one that's a audio and one that's a Mashup with Lauren! Her voice is so beautiful singing this! Love your reactions Liz! Liz there are little similarities in this song but otherwise Angelina is totally an other kind of artist. In my opinion Angelina conveys more connection in portraying the lyrics, the message behind the songs that connects more to the listeners souls.
That‘s the reason why for me it’s never boring to listen any songs of her also multiple times.

Even if one is not biased, one cannot deny that the emotional impact of Angelina's version is greater.
It's hard work to create a satisfying mash-up, and this one does well, especially since the original and cover use the same melody, but the lyrics don't share a single line. In my opinion, it should never be about a competitive comparison, but to understand where the inspiration for the cover comes from and to show similarities and differences to the original.
Liz, what l noticed the strongest ( first, both singers are fantastic, give credit were it is due) is the dark scene of the song, I'm not referring to the physical light but the spiritual one. When Angelina appears to sing l see great light. AJ allows the listener to breath, and gain a sense of hope... truly Angelina more than holds her own, for me the result is l felt enormous sadness and loss toward Amy, on a level that even Amy didn't intend.
Yes, Angelina has her own sound., she is clearly influenced by Amy's style but that's where the similarity end, except perhaps , the hair style (though in this one)!
