@sirdino6967 ok there's the way u mentioned and also perth mint.i got lucky and know a guy who works in coins and gold ..they hold auctions once a month called Noble numismatics they sell gold coins medals banknotes etc...he went to auction personally and bidded on my behalf. He predicted gold will go over 5g an ounce by 2024/2025.the guy is 85 yrs old been selling and buying his whole life I'm just lucky he got a holiday home just around the corner from me and I got to get to know him. He also told me gold coins because not only gold value but the coin value..it's a long term thingy and his advice buy now because it always goes up
U will always pay a premium so ASX I think little risky ..try the perth mint but u have 2 opinions one they hold the gold for u so u paying rent so to speak for them to store it or u can even get it delivered...if u OK with having gold bars in your house...so there's a few things to consider..check out Noble numismatics I got unclirculated 1886 22 carat aussie coins they are 7.86g gold in each I send so info
@sirdino6967 I also have term deposits and the big 4 banks are hopeless 4 to 4.5 percent it's pathetic..I hate super and don't trust the government one bit ..they say its good and maybe it is but my thinking is this. With super I got to wait my whole life before I get to use it so I be old like 65 so then what.The government won't allow me to take that money as a lump sum anyway because they tax the shit out of it so only allow u to have little by little..WHY? It's my money I'm old if I want to spend it why the government penalise me for hard work MY MONEY I'm old so bugger that. I always want control so yes little less return but I'm in control I got bugger all in super mostly my money in term deposit my best return is 5.15 percent judo bank AGAIN IM IN CONTROL THO I sleep better knowing this
