Baxter, I have read all of your books within the last year and am now making my way through these videos. You have revealed who God is to me after believing the lie of the "religious" God my entire life. I have went from hating and despising the lie of a God that was presented to me to being totally in love with the true God. I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders and for the first time actually feel free! Your work, in the truth, has changed my life forever and I will be forever grateful. Thank you.

I totally enjoyed Baxter's teaching its a refreshing message that i need to hear repeatedly. I was a little taken back by what Paul Young was saying about Universilism? I think we have to just trust that God is good and not wonder about all the "what abouts?"

Minecraft Awesome yeah enjoyed Baxter to but I to was taken aback but He does raise good questions. If there is not a type of Hell then why did the apsosals ( sorry for spelling) bust a hurnier (sorry for spelling) risking there lives if at the end all are saved. And does this mean Satan and the Antichrist lol. Also with out choice there is no love were robots, there is no free will. But also I have asked the questions about what about the people who never knew God. Paul does say somewhere that all know God which I don't understand how read that. But it does seem unfair if people are just chucked out because they were on a tribe that never herd if Jesus. I have questions haha. Also what were we saved from if there was no Hell? Xxxxxxxxx

@@WhisperInTheWeeds POWERFUL TRUTH. DEATH NOT HELL WAS THE OUTCOME OF ADAM’S SIN WHICH THE FIRST HUMANITY INHERITED. IT IS DEATH IN ALL RAMIFICATIONS THAT OUR BLESSED LORD JESUS SAVED US FROM. JESUS ALSO BROUGHT LIFE AND INCORRUPTIBILITY TO LIGHT (OUR UNDERSTANDING) THROUGH THE GOOD NEWS. THE EXPOSURE OF THE LIES OF RELIGION GIVES US THE FREEDOM TO POSSESS AND ENJOY LIFE IN ITS FULNESS.

My question to whoever is reading this.....Who did Jesus not come to save? Who is not the one He left the 99 for? The will of God is that ALL will be saved. Will all be saved? Only those that believe that Jesus is who He says He is. HE IS THE ONLY WAY.

All who "believe" will be saved! I think he is talking here about universalism, the idea that all mankind will be saved Yet, it is close to the biblical truth that John shows us in 1 John 2:2, as the "whole world" has been forgiven their sin's. Yet again, John distinguishes between us (that believe) and them (the whole world) by also saying what he said in John 3:16. Christ is the propitiation (appeasing the wrath) of our (mankind) sins, but it is procured only by those that believe, otherwise John 3:36 applies! The way of salvation is on this wise; Ephesians 1:13, "In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise." First you hear
      Then you believe
Then you are sealed Universalist are trying to reverse this holy order ordained by God.

Right, he did. And they rejected him, for the most part, as that is why he went to the Gentile, through Pauls ministry to them, as per scripture; " ....to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." Romans 1:16. So, it is not an "only", but a "first", as concerning the "lost sheep of the house of Israel" (the Jews). Quite a difference of understanding, as Peter ministered to the Jews, Paul to the Gentile. Thus, the work of the cross for the "propitiation of the sin's of the whole world." 1John 2:2.

@@petratical Everyone of us "believed" as an act of God’s grace and the gift of faith given to us. It is obvious that neither faith nor grace is earned. If Father then desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth, will He succeed with the rest as He has done with us? My answer is Yes. The power of His love and the Cross is sufficient to bring Every knee in heaven and on earth to bow to Jesus by the Holy Spirit. Love definitely wins at the end 1 Cor 15:28.

I noticed you shared the scripture, 2 Corinthians 5:17 to back your belief that God will save every man, yet verse 17 specifically say's; "if any man be in Christ". You read it (1:02:50) as "...any man who is in Christ..." Not so, as there is a caveat, "if", that you rather conveniently, left out. There are circumstance's that cause a man not to be in Christ (They loved darkness rather than light) John 3:19. As we see the two malefactors; one on the left and one on the right, both were there at Christ "lifted up" event, this very same event you mentioned earlier, were Christ said; If I be lifted up I will drag all men unto myself, John 12:32. Indeed he does, yet one went to paradise the other did not. They were both dragged to this lifting up event (against their will no doubt) yet the difference? One believed, the other did not. God has truly reconciled all mankind to himself through the work of the cross and Jesus shed blood for remission (forgiveness) of sins, yet it has none effect, what so ever, unless and until one receives it through faith believing! Thus John 3:16. God has done everything, even sending out invitations, yet some will not believe.
Also, yes, forgiveness precedes belief, yet belief is what procures it! Thanks

You said (32:15) that; "He died we died, he rose we rose". The only death we participate in is physical, as it is appointed (Hebrews 9:27). Yet, there is another one, one that we initiate by faith, at baptism, showing that we died with Christ.
"We rise" if and only if we have Christ in us, the hope of this glory": (Romans 5:2). Basically, if you want a formula, it is this; ":Born once, die twice, born twice die once". That's as scriptural as it gets, as "you must be born again", John 3:7.
You say; "he has included us in his sonship" meaning the world, all mankind. Pretty bold, as the word say's, only those that receive him are "included"! (John 1:12). This requires faith! I noticed that when you were reading the great letter of Paul to the Ephesians, chapter 2, you skipped over verse's 8 and 9, yet proceeded to verse 10. I have heard these verse's read myrids of times, yet never have heard of verse's 8 and 9 being left out. It almost is compared to a Minister marrying a couple and leaving out, "until death do you part" at the end. No, these verses are the keys to salvation, as it is by Gods grace we are saved, yet it is "through faith" in that grace provided, we are then saved!

Jesus "drug" all judgement, not men (in context) unto Himself. applicable to both?

    • @petratical
      @petratical Рік тому

Jesus said of men; “if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw (drag) all men to Myself". Why? Because such an act of love will attract great attention!
As concerning judgment; “If anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him. The word I have spoken will judge him on the last day.” John 12:32, and 47.
Because Jesus said it was “finished” (John 19:30) on the cross just before he died, which means he has judged sin, by the sacrifice of himself (1 Peter 2:24), so now anyone who does not believe the report of his making the way for salvation will be judging him or her self. That is also why Jesus said; “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16, but, “....he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.” John 3:36.

When Jesus says if I am lifted up I will draw it All to Me, they add the word men or people in there, but that's not in the Greek. He's talkin about drawing all sin to himself
