- Everyone is eager to know at the moment whether rarity affects currency drops. Here is what Jonathan Rogers said regarding this subject. I have also shared my thoughts on this topic based on my personal experience. This is a very important topic!

I agree. People just want to find something to blame so they can feel good about themselves. It's never their fault they are poor and not very good at the game, right?
Not even in games, look at work and uni how people are failing at basic stuff and blaming everyone else.
120 divine build 500 rarity 1/15 maps divine orb with item quant 100%+ from towers tablets + maps with item rarity, with leess quant its like 1/20-25maps shure item rarity op, without it i can build gear much cheaper and run maps faster + die less, nerf on death effect. Rarity gives you a bit more exalts + 1 ex worth uniques witch never sells, or you will never trade for 1 ex thats all its not worth to go above 100% rarity if you have any troubels with doing high lvl maps.
I agree ,but i thing the problem of rarity has a huge impact on the market ,like a race .The average player cannot affort so much because the prices keep going higher .This means you are forced to play more than you want and it feels dump not to have any rarity on gear. I´m fine with this but many people aren´t.
Prices went higher because we were able to cpy things not rarity.
This is just not how it works but I'm tired of fully explaining but more magic finds means good rares are actually super cheap but high end gear is super expensive, you can get double res rarity helmets for 5-50 exalt easy but the best items in the games cost hella divines. Not saying whether I think this is a good or a bad thing but this is how magic find actually affects the economy

Jim already confirmed it. He found wisdom scroll drop rates decrease as his rarity went up.
Like I was saying before rarity is already inside monsters themselves and map multiple the effect. The rarity on gear is like flat damage and is shit in end-game but will make a difference.
Yes, tests are good, but we also need official responses from GGG. // For these tests, we should focus more on high-end currency: exalted orbs, chaos orbs, regal orbs, divine orbs, etc. I also conducted some tests, and with ZERO rarity in some maps, I found 20+ augmentations, while in others, only 3-4. It was quite inconsistent; we really don't know how the DEVS programmed these drop rates; especially for high tier currency. Tests are good, but official responses from the game designers are better

That's because rarity..as they have said before..not just increases chances for good drops now, but will give you less pointless drops
@@Dane_law-t It will be better if they just move rarity to atlass tree so we can just make stronger builds for less currency, above 100% item rarity is overkill. And you can get like 220%+ from mahutsolts with 3 sockets wich good rols is over kill alrdy, with no other invest in rarity on gear.
it's not just about the lack of content, it's because people need something to look forward to, something to work on, I always hated playing standard but after we get the leagues and the challenges I think that will make people play more, also the game is pretty basic atm, so after we get the rest of the classes/ascendancy + some new league mechanic, everything will be back to normal, maybe xD

Some people seems to forget the good stuff that POE2 provided. I'm not sure if I could step back to moving on left click anymore. The dodge roll feels so smooth to use. Overall the game is currently lacking of content and features (I miss POB so much !!!), but it's a brand new game when POE1 is a 10 + years old game. The base looks realy solid and the potential is insane. I'm not worried at all that this game will be like this 5 essences monster on a 8mods T16 100% delirious map : a beast !
POE2 is rly awsome game if you dont have like 200+ h in POE1 alrdy with no spirit reserwation move skills + 40% ms flasks + 4-5 X smaler maps so you dont waist like 2-3min backtracking random rares, and can just kill boss for map complition + crafing bench, and actual crafting methods in game POE2 can be compared to POE1 in 1year at best, now its behind in every way expect graphic, 30h + campaing is bad thing for doing it every league start also. 20+ masps for set up towers, 2-3 splinters for delirium map, no Tujen gambling currency, no Gvenen gambling uniques, they make much worse versions of POE1 mechanics, its early acces, but i wait more for POE1 expansions than anything related to POE2, it will take a lot of time to make POE2 end game playable. Hope some people will try POE1 after play POE2 and find fun in it.

It has impact i checked it with a friend also some streamers did the same tests and also said it affects everything. Now if you guys want to say it doesn't its tour problem or thought.
Rarity is not a big factor in currency drops, it’s how you stack your towers on the atlas with quant and rare mobs. And till your maps with quant rarity and rare mobs.
And remember that rare mob modifiers is what scales the drops
actually true i did 10breach savana with 50%quant and i got 30ex and i did some shitty layout 10breach map with 200%quant and more rare monsters and i made 75ex and i made double the splinters +2 divines
@ yep, the problem is most the people who are complaining about rarity don’t even have the atlas tree points nor do they have the breech tree points.
I might spend 2-3 hours setting up a zone on the atlas with 6-8 towers with quant and rare mobs precursors, just to run 20 maps that are juiced to the max, I used to run 175 rarity I now run less than 100 and I’m getting more currency than ever by taking the time to set everything up properly.
Some people just want an excuse to complain because they want the same results as we get without putting in any effort

finally someone not talking out of there ass with reputable info, rarity is so blown out of proportion I felt like I was going crazy, thanks for the info and great content always a pleasure to watch and for once I can agree with someone , people need to stop comparing themselves to the top mf blasters your not fungun and if people knew everything he does to get the currency he does they would realize how absolutey difficult it is its not just his gear its his rolled perfect maps corrupted and anointed like you showed , perfect map tower positioning stacking rarity , focus on powerful character with a lil rarity and juice your maps like poe guy shows for all the sucky boys , rant over THANKS MAN !!!
I think new players are confused. You still can do the old farm grind, rarity increase just lessen that grind.
How to be rich:
1) Play a lot
2) Farm a lot / craft&trade a lot
3) Profit

No rarity at all 20+ div drops lol. Have grinded alot of maps though and use quantity precursor tablets. When that double effect hits and your map has 150%+ quantity and 5+ breaches you'll get divines
The problem that I feel with the game is that the game doesn’t feel rewarding. I have a warrior level 90 and I only got a helmet and when I corrupted the item break,and now I am playing ranger I am level 88 and I only got one item too. In my opinion. This is a big problem.
Erm, Vaal orb worked as intended in your case, that was the mechanism in POE 1. When you use Vaal orb, consider you have a 50% chance (or more) of losing it.
People are whiny snowflakes these days and love to complain about everything 😂 I'm running 150% rarity for a while now and it isn't "OP" at all. After 200+ hours of playtime I got 1! single divine drop (My wife plays with 0% rarity and got 7 or so 😂 and 2 perfect jewellers)
Im sure there would be alot less complaints if everyones wives gave them div orbs lol. But hey thoes of us with over 200 hours and very rarly get any kind of drops are just snow flakes .... Considering you watch one streamer do one map and get like 5 div drops. You dont feel like you've wasted a good 100 hours grinding for nothing in the end game?
@@ZekeyT90nope i’m enjoying the game at my own pace halfway through funds needed for top roll ingenuity. I take itvas a great learning process ya know/ prepping for league start. Finding builds i like arxhe types i enjoy. Checking out endgame modes. While figuring out a plan on how to get better.
Im close to 400hr rarity does helps a lot, out of all my friends im the one have seen atleast 8 divines drop, and 2 perfect jewel orbs, ik is not that much but i can admit i made the progress with my warrior harder just because i wanted to have my 120 rarity, now i had to switch all gear and relay on the rarity from the maps and keys a bit more.
ppl who complain arent juicing their maps properly, i switched from rarity mf (around 120) with poor map juicing to 0 rarity but properly setting up maps with correct mods and tower influence, im getting about 5 times as much loot with 0 rarity and a proper setup, the real problem is that the set up is s pain and require a decent build to pull of, the no death in maps really slow down progression

So I am one of the new players to PoE, never really liked the 1st or rather was too intimidated by all this bricking your character etc. However I was thirsty for a good ARPG and PoE2 looked very promising. The experience is great, the campaign was awesome and then I got to endgame with a char I liked. The amount of info out there is horrible as alot of it contradicts itself and it gets down to who to trust... I felt bad because I could not afford anything of the builds that people showed. Nothing was obtainable or within reach for me or even that I had the slightest idea on progressing towards those.
Then be youtube algorithm luck I caught lilly calling out ragegaming, she provided good advice on how to actually using the tradesite, that entry gear is cheap and so forth. It got better afterwards. Meanwhile I heard big ccs talking as if the only issue with the game is MF and how they feel about it. Which I couldn't care less about tbh... When GGG actually cares for the new players they have to step it up bigtime because as of now there is not really anything explained in the endgame... go there to the tower, check inside monolith, thanks I guess.
I think that without the amazing people that actually provide good info (like you too) and help and show us newbs the ropes, I probably stop playing and come back in a couple of months or so...

I think there is major difference when people compare rarity to mf in d2. D2 is way slower so even if more mf gives you better loot it wont matter but in poe2 a fully juiced map will get way more value for less so even with diminishing returns on rarity more is just better.
I like rarity but probly hard cap to 100 would feel way better.
What are u talking about? D2 is a lot faster since u got teleport on every character meaning u travel a lot faster then u can ever do in PoE2. So ur argument is falling short.
@ nope in d2 you cant one tap stuff and the mob density is way lower.
@@admiro88 I feel ur way better at PoE2 then u are at D2 with that comment. No offense but a good D2 player would think differently. Im way faster on D2 then on PoE2 and im lvl 95 ranger one tapping stuff at PoE2. Mob density isnt lower, idk where u play in D2 but try, Chaos Sanctuary, Worldstone Keep or Cows and u will see mobs everywhere.

Compared to all the other issues and problem mechanics the game has magic find should be at the bottom of the needs to be fixed list.
Your not making any sacrifices for rarity when your running an over powered build that one shots the whole screen. Just roll a storm weaver/monk/gemming with mink skills and smash the game easy mode AND get rich.

My last think to that is his pc is not good enough for playing and streaming but this info is 4 or 5 months old. I think he mentioned it in one of the shrapnell ballista videos but i am not sure
@@Lightinator It's not so much the PC as my neighbors. You see, when most people are active in the game, it's close to midnight here. I've already had arguments with them. I live in a small flat, and noise is a BIG problem here! I’ve never streamed on Twitch or anything like that; I don’t even know how that system works.

Why does nobody take the double currupt node in the atlas tree? Im running t16 with 80% rarity on waystone 30% rare and magic monsters and it almost always double the values! I also run 380% on character. Juicing them with towers helps too. I drop 2-3 divines every 5-10 maps.

Too much risk no? Why would u want a juiced map to have a chance to brick and become a shit map. I only use that node on a batch of bad corrupted maps. Hoping it will re-corrupt into a better map. Unless from your experience that’s not true.

0 recovery rate for es build if you go to hard with mods + stronger aded dmg as effects. If you not leveling ok, but it makes more maps bricks for shure.

I had about 280 rare I got rid of nearly all of it and I'm getting the same or better drops
I think a big issue we see with PoE2 isn’t the game itself it’s the player base. Hopefully they don’t start listening to these dimwits out here cuz some of y’all just lack the intellectual capacity for Poe. Love your vids man, your totem tank got my attention.
