Why is it that floor passing chimes are more common in Israel than most other countries (other than the US, Canada, and some countries in the Caribbean)
no idea how this works in other countries but in israel there's a major accessibility features in newer elevator models for folks with sight impairment
i wouldn't call it a "knockoff", due to the fact that electra is importing otis elevator models into israel, so they are approved to use these buttons and indicator, and their newer models pretty much resemble gen2 otis, while otis itself exists in israel through electra
